Ok, at the end of day one, ten hours in, my fortress is going smoothly~ Nothing too big yet though. Also, I'll post a GIANT FULL UPDATE A giga-update, perhaps at the end of my turn, so don't worry if I go quiet.

I would like to extend a formal apology on behalf of this piece of shit game for corrupting my save file.

My turn is void. Next Overseer.

It's been nearly a week since the last post. The front post is not updated, and I see nothing from the next person on the list. Is either Glloyd or Ghills around? I figure I'll wait until the weekend and then start spamming you via DM :-).

My apologies, I'd forgotten about this. I've been bogged down with university this week and haven't had time for much of anything. I'll PM Ghills. Lolfail, want me to put you on later down the list?

Yeah, bung me last. I need a new computer, methinks; this one's running a 31.25 game at one frame every twelve seconds or so.

When I saw succession Wolrd I came here thinking this would be another idea.
This one:

1-Guy create a totally random world paramers (not so random that genating playable things is impossible) and post on thread
2-First guy MUST change 3 parameters (each size parameter counts as A unique one) according to what he prefer, and post the modified thing on thread and play with it for at least 2 weeks and post stories. He doenst need to play with first generated world and can redo if he use same seed.
3-Second guy get this modified parameters and modify 3 parameters, and play 2 weeks like the first one using this paramaters. he doenst need to wait to first guy to finish, since he just need to use last guy parameter and not his save.
4-New guy get this modified parameters and modify 3 parameters, and play 2 weeks like the using this paramaters. he doenst need to wait to the guy to finish, since he just need to use last guy parameter and not his save.
5-Go back to 5.

After the 2 weeks you would be able to go back to the thread, get the lastest parameter file, modify and play again with this new one.

God dang it, if my laptop weren't fried I'd grab the turn myself by this point.

I believe the consensus in the planning thread was that this game should operate on something similar to the drunk fortress "First Drunk, First Served" policy. As in you don't reserve turns in advance, the first person to claim the save just takes their turn and if they're not finished in time, they're automatically skipped.
