"If something attacks us, I'll just punch it in the face. In case you forgot, I'm a vampire; monsters should be afraid of me."

: "I must say, everyone seemed to handle the monsters in that last fight with ease."

"We're not talking human-sized demons. We're talking big monsters; giant, dragon-looking fliers, giant birds, big dinosaur-looking lizards that breathe lightning, stuff like that. That's why they got special adventurers - Monster Hunters, they're called- who take classes in fighting monsters, though you get the occasional big raid group that takes 'em on for the rewards and of course Emergency Quests, everyone has to deal with them.
"Last I heard, they even started a forecast program on those tablets for when those things show up on the roads, telling less-experienced guys to stay back and let the experts deal with them. 'Course, some people go after them anyway, making armor and weapons out of their bodies. I dunno. It's a Hunter thing and I never really got to finish at the academy."

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Rosencrantz is correct about those MPMH. Hunters specialize on fighting these massive monsters, while adventurers do have their own specialization of course."
"Of course that MPMH for the thrill of the hunt too. But usually these hunts are important for both MPMH safety of others and crafting valuable equipment. After all, their skin and bones do MPMH very sturdy weapons and armors."

Wow, this world runs on Monster Hunter logic, too... Now the wiggler head is too fitting for me to not be convinced that the wiggler cult is run by a Revivian fanboy.
"Yeah, slaughtering monsters and crafting cool and useful stuff from their remains. Sounds familiar to me. People do that all the time from where Revivians originate from... digitally."

Alien invading in huge numbers, the lizard people rose from the hollow earth, the Maya Calendar was right and the fifth age began together with the return of magic, Donald Trump became president of the USA and it turned out Mother Gaia is a real being and put every animal and plant through turbo-evolution to turn humanity back to the bottom of the food chain."

She laughed a bit.

"Nah, just kidding, only one of these things happened."

Keith thought about this for a moment.

"OK, so I know the last one ain't it because earlier you were talking about things like everything's going on as usual back home. Could be the aliens, if they got their asses kicked in a year or two. Could be the lizards, assuming they didn't do much other than be all 'hey, here we are'. Definitely wasn't magic because I know I've seen some Revivians all 'holy shit magic'. Could be Trump. I know that other rich guy, Perot or whatever his name was, was running after Bush so he could have set a precedent for business dudes being president."

After a moment of silent further contemplation, Keith shrugged.

"Guess it doesn't matter here!"

[SirAston]

"Dunno who Perot is, but yeah, Trump became president."

She shrugs, too.

"Not our problem though, I agree with you there. Let's do some cool stuff instead and establish the Generian Wrestling Federation once we're done, Mr. Not-McMahon."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"He was an oil dude, or something. Third party. I wasn't paying much attention, I wasn't in America anymore; I just know 'cause my dad said he was gonna vote for him when I called home one time. Hell yeah, though I dunno if we're gonna call it that yet. Gotta have something the crowd can chant. GWF is a good start, though."
