Does anyone else find me incomprehensible? Or is it just Imp? I think I'm pretty clear about my suspicions.

It boils down to:

1. POE.
2. She doesn't hunt mafia, has made basically no attempt at doing so
3. She only started going after me when I went after her, total queen of the OMGUS
4. She has no case. Even when pressed just now she just says she can't read me

(Note: I've had x1 beer and am feeling a little fiesty)

If she was playing like Toony, Jim or Magma I'd have no case and I'd be pursuing some tinfoil land option now

Also I honestly don't know what to do with Imp's holy avenging angel routine. I imagine she's playing into her role. God knows.

It's true that Imp's voting pattern has been the worst of anyone. On the other hand, I chose Imp to visit n1 and there's nothing in the flavor that gives me the slightest reason to think "mafia" at all. I guess there's one reference to the color red I could really stretch, but it's more likely to imply that Imp is Jewish or Hindu than anything else. :P

How much stock do you give to the flavor vs Imp's day game?

Quote
Imp does a big ass response to Agentt in spoiler tags. This feels pointless to me if Imp is mafia with Agentt, why bother giving some indepth response - hidden in spoiler tags no less - if you're just responding to your mafia partner? I think this makes Imp look good.
I think this is a very reasonable thing to ask. A normal player would not do this. However, Imp is extremely verbose in almost all situations. It's nothing for her to type up a giant series of paragraphs. And creating content with zero risk of town being upset is a typical mafia move.

This is one of my observations that I recorded that I didn't bother posting so I like that notquitethere points this out.

I'm not surprised ToonyMan is finding NQT scummier than Imp since he's an Imp-ally. Nothing really remarkable there and not really alignment indicative.

I like the way NQT is acquitting himself much more than how Imp is but I think that this was always going to be true regardless of alignment. I'm going to try to keep reading the game but I think I'm currently favoring lynching Imp. And honestly I don't really see this changing through a reread, but I'll do it anyway.

If D5 is decided by the Top Hat that would be really lame.

I'm home now, but I don't know if I have time to do another post-by-post analysis for Day 2 because FoU demands short 48 hour days. I'll try to read D2 and at least give conclusions on how I feel about players but my sister is also over and keeps bugging me to play Monkey Ball and stuff so I'm really doubtful I can give meaningful insight in a timely manner. It took me about 4 hours to write the D1 analysis post yesterday and that was with nobody bothering me.

Like Jim says I am inclined to side with Imp regardless because I'm lovers with them anyway unless there's some smoking gun evidence that Imp is mafia I don't really want to vote them. When I pressed Imp for more against NQT what I got was "I don't really sus NQT but there's nobody else I suspect more" as a conviction which is an awful reason to vote NQT and I already criticized them for it in the Discord chat. This isn't proof positive that Imp is mafia, but it's very frustrating if they're town and floundering this hard on who they think is mafia because it's hurting the game and letting a likely scum!NQT or scum!Magma get away.

I'm probably voting NQT so if you and Magma are voting Imp it will come down to who Sal votes.

I also think a no lynch might be worthwhile. I don't know why mafia aren't killing, but it might provide more insight in making a correct choice. Imp you would surely agree with this, right? I'm not happy how short the days have become and wish there was another day so that I could carefully read D2.

It's less that I'm giving stock to it and more that I'd be kind of annoyed if my flavorcop power proved that useless. Like I don't even get a HINT?

I started writing a post where I listed all the flavor I got, but I had to do other things. I guess I'll try to finish it.

Hey.  Things got really ugly between me and NQT last game.  He even talked about maybe not playing again.  To the extent I looked, and I'm not enjoying looking though I want him in the games and have admired him a lot, he looks extremely much like he looked last game.  Plus side - he was town.  Huge minus side - his reasoning and behavior was extremely pro-maf.  He was deeply wrong about a lot, he looked really scummy to me.  He was town though.  Here, he looks really the same.  Oh, but he went for some mafia.  There he protected them all game until the very end of his life in it.

Look.  I really don't want to go into this.  If NQT is town (not even pro-town) I want to kid glove him and be gentle and just watch him and I hope things go great for him and I see the NQT I have seen long ago soon.  If he's not, he needs to be elim.  I am not -certain- and when I dug into him last game he talked about not playing again, and hey.  I can't think of a test that can pick that playstyle and thinking out from him being either alignment - as town he never went for the maf, as maf he knows to go for them some - that literally could be it.

I need to be hands off.  I don't like town deaths.  Verm is one of my absolute top favorite players to be in a game with.  Verm died rather than remain in play.  He didn't hammer anyone and he had the two wagon choices; he chose to give me a vote (I presume it was him, it's not signed and no message but I got the 1-shot shortly after Verm's death was announced.  Didn't notice the message until today) and I do believe he chose to take NQT with him.  I don't think Verm would agree to be converted even by any other name.  I think whatever NQT told him, he chose to end this way as he could have hammered NQT or me before death and I think he chose to end this way expecting NQT to die with him.

I also think a no lynch might be worthwhile. I don't know why mafia aren't killing, but it might provide more insight in making a correct choice. Imp you would surely agree with this, right? Yes.  We have in Mater a cop claim.  We gotta worry about Mater getting too many hats, but anyone hatless Mater claims he can still use the usurped abilities of currently dead people on (Weird, people die with them; I presume he has some sort of copy or some really weird role that can use the abilities of the living or dead under that condition).

I'm fine with a 1-day see what happens, hear whatever Mater reports.  I don't know it's best, but we saw no kill last night and I didn't catch anyone saying they roleblocked anyone; I thought Mater claimed he blocked me but that only would have happened if I targeted Verm - and I got told my action succeeded.

We may have a 'comb through careful, find the last weird anti-town role' - Mater can literally do that if he's honest and I don't think he can risk not being honest.  Toony's 'dancing marionette winding down' from FBYOR6 at worst.

Heist had an anti-town third party thief who couldn't kill unless someone reloaded their gun.  I've been VERY careful about who I changed the abilities of.  So far only Verm and Toony, both very strong town reads when I risked the change.  Plus Toony's ability I actually got a copy of.  This is not now a kill, Toony says had been a res before.

I'm still open to anyone asking for an ability change tonight.  I am only going to accept from those I think are very likely to be town, as I said before.  I don't think Sal's got abilities.  Toony can discuss with me in private or public.  I will take very pro-town risks and consider chances, but I am very concerned about empowering/unlocking anti-town.  But I'll listen to anyone claim or request anything.

Or that this is a Krr1ss thing.

Karmaless God of Karma and Fate (Town)
You oversee it all, a realm apart.
Once in a while, your intangible needle pulls a thread one way or another.

(Night) Read The Records [target]: All beings have Records. You follow a karmic thread. Your target gains the Status "Thread of Fate {X}", where X is the name of the Greek letter corresponding to the current Night number. Guilt will stain the thread. At the end of this Night, you learn how many players possess that Status, and how many of them have ever been the direct cause of another player's death.
(2-Shot, Night) Pull The Strings [{X}, {Y}]: You put your needle to the thread. Perfect Cloak is Disabled. Actions performed by players with the Status "Thread of Fate {X}" will fail if they are performed on players with the Status "Thread of Fate {Y}" this Night. The Status "Thread of Fate {X}" is removed from all players that have it. {X} and {Y} may be the same.

(Reference, Status) Thread of Fate {X}: A colored thread's strung through your soul. If you visit another player with a non-Free role action the Night you gained this Status, they also gain this Status if they did not already have it.

Only 3 players ever claimed that Thread status.  I'm the only one alive now.  My thread was red in the flavor I was told that night.

Verm and Agentt never said a color.

Correcting my mangled quote.

And I wonder if this is related to that red thread, and if everyone's is that color.

https://ryanroseweaver.substack.com/p/the-red-thread-that-connects-us-all
That's what I thought as well. It seemed like it was probably connected to the thread of fate.
But I don't know how to interpret the other references I got in your flavor. I think I should just compile all the flavor I have on people.

Imp: Is a witch. When I visited Imp, I had the impression that a spell had been cast. I heard the voice of a frog, saw the red thread, and, mmm, something I might call a purple haze if I were musically inclined. Mysterious, but nothing that gives me the slightest idea of a connection to the known mafia members.

Then I was killed by a snowball. There wasn't a lot of detail that didn't boil down to it was cold and made of snow. Very CrystalizedMire-oriented, obviously.

The next night, ToonyMan resurrected me. ToonyMan is some kind of priest and he wielded a staff like a lightning rod. My flavor confirmed that it was one-shot as he sighed and threw it away afterward.

After that, I went first to visit Krr1ss and loot his stuff. He lived in a penthouse and I saw him weaving a tapestry as I looted his stuff when he wasn't looking. I tried to visit Magma Mater as well, but I critfailed that roll and didn't learn anything of use. Or get a hat. There was no particular flavor when I was messing around with anything else I did either, probably because it was affecting everybody.

Finally, on the last night, I visited Jim. I found him at an old warehouse which was said to be rotting and abandoned, which seems to have been NQT's place. I know nothing about... I'm gonna say street fighter? but he was described as a man in a red uniform who is used to being feared and obeyed. He threatened me to stay out of his way. Then the same priest who resurrected me showed up and they fought. The priest was clearly losing, but the man in red fumbled the deck of cards he was using to fight with (?) so the priest has a moment's opening to steal a hat and run away.
As far as I could tell from ten seconds of looking at wikia, the description seems to fit M. Bison. I don't know what cards have to do with anything, but it may have been Fallacy just running amok with a metaphor. I don't really buy ToonyMan's "Mephansteras" claim but I could see it as a weird stretch, I guess, and I also don't care.

Incidentally, I was already thinking about a no-lynch so I'll throw some slight support on that.

What would we learn if we do no lynch?

Can we afford to no lynch?

If there's players we're relying on to come to D6 with information, how do we make sure they make it?

I'm open to an elim of NQT.  I am opposed to an elim of anyone else today.

I think Toons is town, I know I am.  I think Sal's probably still town.  I don't want the cop claim elimmed (so I don't want to see Mater/Jim flip now), and Mater's gotta be a better cop than Toaster.  Can't wait to hear what he says tomorrow.  This could take a few days, I'm open to that.  I am opposed to hat wins.  They make most of us lose.  We should be VERY careful about the risk of Mater or anyone getting too many hats.

No-elim. no-elim.

I'm still anti hammer, which is 5.  But this is acceptable to me, we have a cop to help sort things out.

I don't think it works out.
