@Jim:
How can you scheme to protect the Dunce Cap last night (N5) when NQT ate it on N4?

It respawns to a random living player when destroyed. On N4 it appears it respawned to me, as a loyal hat should.

This is a function of my role, not the Dunce Cap. The Dunce Cap itself does nothing.

In addition, Jim and Magma deciding to not have Jim mug Magma is also because that would make hat win harder for Magma to accomplish, no? It seems like Jim only did one action last night when they could have done more, such as making Imp's mug fail on Magma by targeting Magma with some kind of protection instead of mugging. Even if Magma received a message from Jim they can just say they didn't.

I see. This explains why you were aware of the Dunce Cap before having it I don't think you started the game with it right?

People need to read the Hat Tyrant rules.

If any living player possesses 5 or more Hat abilities at the end of the Day, after the execution, that player wins and all other players lose.

If at the start of the Day, any player possesses 4 or more Hat abilities, it will be publicly announced that it is currently HATLO. All players who currently possess 1 or fewer Hats will then be named.
I'm dumb I didn't read that part.

Can confirm, the hat has no rule attached to it. I wasn't aware of the respawn thing until now. My stomach likes the sound of a renewable hat source.

Doesn't Krr1ss' cloak render you immune to night actions?
Hmmm, good point. Although, as Krr1ss found out, if you put your faith in a cape and a hood they may not protect you the way that they should.

OMFallacy!  I do love that source.

" I'm the hitch, I'm what no one believes.
  I'm the witch.
  You're all liars and thieves,
  Like this lover!
Like that partner will be too!
  Oh, why bother?
You'll just do what you do!
  We approach endgame,
  So goodbye, all.
  Coming at you fast, endgame--
Soon you'll see the sky fall!
  Here, you want a hat?
  Have another hat.
Hats were made for making you rich!
  Plant them and they soar--
  Here, you want some more?
  Listen to the roar:
  Hatwins by the score--!
Oh well, you can blame another witch."

I distinctly and carefully made no hats this game.  I'm very anti-hat.  And I have a lot of faith that Sal's likely to be protown and power incarnate, likely.  Grats on your deals with God, Sal.

Okay so a hat win sounds impossible then.

Imp's mug action failing on Magma is what matters the most here. If this can be explained the game is over.

If a 'random living player' means Jim, only and always Jim, perhaps.

Hope it's ONLY the freakin' duncecap and Jim isn't like hatgod.

Hasn't really been playing like hatgod.  And it's Day 6.  We haven't all lost to hatgod.  So I'm not too scared of this.

To be fair to Jim, I deliberately didn't mention eat the cap before now because I knew it would upset him.

He flat out told us all to destroy any hats not in his possession.

While he didn't have the duncecap.

He wasn't gonna be upset at all.

That's one.

I'm not gonna poke at the others.  I don't want to go into the nasty that lies inside my reaction to lots of persistent, long-term 'how can you think that?  How can you miss stuff like that?'

Got a message from Jim asking me not to eat the dunce cap (too late).

I possess the Propeller Hat, which makes the user immune to non-lethal actions. Crystalizedmire started the game with this hat, so if Imp is mafia then she knows what it does. She could have hoped that I actually did use it, or she could be hoping that she can convince other people that I lied about not using it.

That's correct. I started the game with the Cat Ear Headband.

My stomach likes the sound of a renewable hat source.

Begone!

If a 'random living player' means Jim, only and always Jim, perhaps.

It really is a random living player, and it respawning on me is a fortunate coincidence.

Imp's mug action failing on Magma is what matters the most here. If this can be explained the game is over.

With available claims, the Mug shouldn't have failed. So somebody is lying, or Imp is lying.

Hat actions and the Mafiakill are both free. Just pointing this out, for no real reason.

Whines frantically at NQT

Claim: I have an ability that can destroy a hat. Knowing Fallacy, one of you probably has a "cursed" hat of "screw the wearer".

So, if anyone wants their hat destroyed, let me know.

I endorse you destroying hats as long as you don't destroy any in my possession and if destroying hats reduces the hat requirement for the hat tyrant victory.

Jim, so you actually have your dunce cap? Or, you're actually joking about wanting your dunce cap? Or, you can bring it back if it's destroyed? (Perhaps just if it's not in your possession when destroyed - hey we just had a NQT game where I could recreate specific destroyed objects, that could be a thing here for Jim.) Or I dunno the heck you're doing.  But you maybe want all other players but yourself to lose, noted.  Cause it's fun, surely.

I see a connection here.  Apparently you don't.  I wish you well.  I hope you are okay.  And I am very purposefully being gentle with you and you are tapping very strong 'this has to be anti-town thinking' reflexes in me.  I saw them in you last game, and I was wrong there.  I still think you're likely anti-town.  I don't think I can tell, and I really only sus you or Mater-Jim mix.  They likely die together like normal lovers do?

I really hope we elim you enough and the game ends with a town win.  I hope Sal can watch over and protect us and catch or solve any shenanigans.

The first time I heard about this hat was from Toony in loverchat.

We searched the game for any mention of it.  It was never named.  He suspected he got it from you.  That's what I know about it.

I know what the Propeller hat does because I had it temporarily last night. It's basically a hide where you aren't affected by non-kill actions for the night and you can't use it twice in a row.

Imp...it's not looking good...I'm 90% sure I know both of Magma's actions last night.

Magma, how do you know Crystal started with the hat? I talked with Imp about who could have started with the hat and Imp and I looked through who it could have been but I remember nobody mentioning it in the thread, based on our search effort it was never mentioned either.
