Now for what I noticed on read-through, and needed a bit to articulate...  If I could get a response to this, specifically from Tric, Sal, & FoU, whom I know played with me in those ~2yr-ago-games, I would hugely appreciate it.

So, not to be too on-point here, but is anyone else kinda getting vibes from Toons?  Of the 'off' variety, specifically?  I may have missed a development in his personal meta, but I remember him being, like, amazing at the delivery of complex thoughts in single sentences.  A master of the unspoken, between-the-lines, what isn't said means as much as what is, type of player.  Also super-confident in his reads.

This game he is verbose af, comparative to my recollection, and seems about as subtle as a neon safety-orange brick, mid-flight, headed towards your face...

Amazingly wishy-washy with it as well, as Imp noticed in post #165.  I'll add to the "EP is null" to "EP is town" fast-shift there with walking back his position on FoU from 'read' to 'vibes' (post #117) after a slight prod from Sal (posts #110 & #112), which is so totally uncharacteristic of my previous games with him, where he was town both times.

It could be the time since, or just an off couple of days, but it is jarring comparing my recollections to his play this game.  Or am I just misremembering?  (Seems unlikely, as I have reread those two games, relatively recently, but I suppose is possible)

Sleep now... I look forward to responses.

And I'm getting along real well with Zem in and out of game, so I just want him alive forever (In fact, I have no kill, so I don't get to say who dies, and I would have been SO HAPPY to tell the game of a maf inspect on him, though I would have considered chances of redirection in that case as well - least now I don't need to really try to read him for alignment, which is great.)

@Elephant:
I guess my read of Vermilion has lowered a little overtime as I have not seen any positive points.

@Imp:
I don't have a read on Elephant (or Sal). Magma said they felt you and Elephant seemed town which is a statement I can probably agree with because 1. They are a player I townread and 2. I think you're town Imp.

@Zemaj:
I'm actually a rotating account between me and my 15 siblings it's my turn to play for this game I hoped it wouldn't be obvious. I am sad that I am considered inadequate compared to tryhard!Toony or even caveman!Toony.

@Zemaj:
Elephant was slightly townreading you because you dropped materia info right out the gate which seems bold as scum (also probably unplanned with partners). I think that's a correct assessment. That's one reason why Vermilion gained town points in my eyes since I felt it townie to be open like that so early and unprompted.

How do FoU and Verm make you feel this game?

To be honest, it felt very specifically like he's setting me up to be executed later. I'm typically a very easy execution (colloquially, due to my 'aura of suspicion'), and Toony treated my questioning of Magma as an attack on Magma, which felt strange.

There does seem to be a Elephant Parade - ToonyMan - Magma Mater block. I doubt all three of them are scum, because whenever I try to call a full scumteam, it fails miserably. But at minimum I think we'll find at least one mafia player within this block.

Yeah, well, I should put my materia where my mouth is. ToonyMan.

FoU has some twisted role ideas. Screw second-guessing this mechanical garbage spaghetti, I'm basing everything on reads and visible daytime behaviour.

Would you like to play a game of Mafia? The subforum is always open to new players.

Might be a bit too much to read now. From page ten.

Crystal, why don't you want to reveal defensive properties? Is it because they would reveal your materia?

Here's why I asked:

@Imp:
Verm feels honest to me, weird tinfoil theories that are wrong makes me think of NJW in a game (who was town) who had this crazy theory about FoU being scum (FoU was also town).
The ‘stealing trades’ thing was absolutely meaningless, I threw it out there to see how Magma would react to slop being thrown at them this game.
They seem more reactive than usual? I remember it taking a lot more to get a vote out of them than this.
Did the reveal that the tinfoil theory was insincere not affect your read?

@zemaj: I don't think claiming your submissions is scummy. I'm just not sure it actually helps town. An action can be simultaneously anti-town and towny.

OK I see why you wouldn't have considered that necessary to respond to.

Ferret prevents stealing.
Counter-psychic is fairly on the nose.
My other materia I don't want to reveal at all.
