Materia, one is overall a miss

Think you'll choose to trade then?  There's offers open.

bedridden with a double ear infection recently and I haven’t really been finding significant time to dedicate to D1 either way.

Hey, feeling better, worse, same?

I'd love to ask you for your reads if you got any ready to share.  I also get the 'omg, I'd like to feel okay, not happening yet, but I'm in this game too'.

We still need you when you can be here.

No real reads, but I’m enjoying Gail, Tric, and CM, and less enjoying Magma.
I think it’s going to be interesting mechanically N1.

Yep.  Reads don't have to be alignment focused, especially if that's not where your head's at.  I have repeatedly given reads of who I do/don't want to see alive the next day, and had other less directly alignment-tuned reads as well.

Whatever you got, happy to see what you see.

The scummy thing is wanting to know which of lynch or trade happens first. I can see mafia motivation for not wanting to trade with me if I'm going to be eliminated - it might reveal something that he'd prefer to have kept hidden. I'm really struggling to see any town motivation for needing to know that before committing to a trade, while also being town and having junk that he's willing to trade for anything.

Oh wow, thank you.

I didn't even see this line of thinking!

I still don't really see it.

You see mafia motivation for... great.  Elaborate, please?  I want to follow your thoughts.

The final 19 hours begin before the ritual of blood is concluded. One by one, the alchemists place their mark in chalk, light candles and whisper promises under their hoods.

No Elimination

Day ends Tuesday 11.59pm GMT or on hammer. Hammer is 6. Weekends count for zero time.

Spoiler: Matched Trade Offers (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Active Trade Offers (click to show/hide)

Let me know if I missed anything. If you are trading and there's a specific materia you want to trade, PM me before the day end, otherwise it'll be randomly picked.

NQT - can we get a confirmation or correction on how I parse the order of operations for mechanics wrt phases?

EoD - trades > elimination   |   SoN - meta actions > assign materia > night actions   |   EoN   |   SoD > reports/flips > thread opens
This is correct. Trades are processed before or simultaneous with elimination. An eliminated player will trade before they die.

Each step happens for all living players before moving to the next step.

While I in general like you, I struggle to see a reason why I should like you giving that answer this game.

Magma and Elephant feeling like townbros to me.

Elephant is correct to call out FoU I think since FoU put a lot of emphasis on Verm and Crystal as the "crux" of the game and then didn't even respond to my "What? I don't understand what you're saying" question.

Magma is correct to townread me for the trading thing because they are right I have nothing to hide. I decided to ask Crystal and Sal if they wanted to trade, but they haven't taken the offer which makes me sad.

@Imp:
I don't think voting Magma today is correct.

@Magma:
Okay let's do another I guess. Trade 1 materia with Magma for 1 Materia

I'm not saying no to a ToonyMan lynch, but I feel like my vote is in the right place for now. Anyone interested?

I'm unlikely to trade because it means having to go back to my PMs and find what materia I have on a phone. It's annoying.

This feels more like quietly thoughtful town!Salvatore than useless sniping scum!Salvatore.

I'm amazed.

I have the rather strong understanding that Sal pretty much plays as he pleases, either alignment.  And that Sal is quite effective and dangerous as either alignment.

Why do you believe that a 'quietly thoughtful' Sal is gonna be town, that a 'sniping' Sal is gonna be scum, and that any Sal is likely to be 'useless'?

I'm open to exploring what happens, sure.  Mater

@Sal:
Hey man, I've been on phone for 90% of this game so you're just gonna have to suck it up. That excuse is just lame. I can understand not wanting to trade with me at least.

I can understand not wanting to trade with me at least.

What's the/a reason you understand about not wanting to trade with you 'at least'?

If Sal thinks I'm scum it's reasonable for them to not want to trade with me specifically.

I'm confused.

If someone thinks you are scum they should elim you.  Umm, right?

Trading is an entirely separate matter.

If I expected a person to be the elim today, any materia they die with is, unless someone has some materia that changes this, out of play.  This is true if the person is maf.  Or town.  I would be glad to give someone I thought was maf less-useful materia if I saw reason and ability to.  I would be glad to give someone I am sure will leave play materia I want out of play.

... does this make sense?  Does it seem sane?

I don't get the 'don't trade with maf'.

Also, 'sure you are maf' means kill you.  Right?
