I mean it's still early to be approaching real certainty, so I don't know, but we're getting along *super* well.

Maybe things'll work out well, maybe we'll drift apart, who knows? Just know I'm really fond of them, and from what they're saying they're really fond of me. The term platonic has explicitly been used on several occasions, so y'know, it's either platonic or there's a shitload of denial going on between us.

But a good relationship, regardless of its form, is something I'm happy with. Hence why I'm here and not in the WTF or sad threads.

For a given definition of "Happy" - Got a doctor's note saying "We gave [greatorder] medication and it messed them up. They're gonna need more time for uni work" so I can actually submit this stuff now.

Dates range from 31st Jan to 25th March, so nearly two months lost to my brain going sour. This is after the first semester was lost to anxiety that the medication attempted to fix.

Now however I should be able to get some proper help and time.

Congrats! Unis are normally understanding about this stuff. I know they dunked on one of my friends before where they said his chronic migraines didn't count because they were chronic, so he must obviously have gotten used to them by now

Woo hoo!  I made 20% on an investment this week!

What makes me really smile though is that it amounted to a whopping $15 gain. I can treat myself to a hamburger or something.  :P

Daughter got unconditional offer for her course of choice at her first choice uni, and is under consideration for a scholarship to boot. Just so happens that her mother and I are alumni of said institution, so all happy here!

All these retirement accounts will be worthless if Trump destroys the economy; and no one will be able to draw from their worthless retirement accounts if RFK reduces the average life expectancy so much that no one reaches retirement age anyway.

After the forum update it broke the add a word to the text thread, but after messing with it for a bit I managed to fix it, so now we can continue our holy work.

I knew that zalgo abomination text would have to die someday.

Bonus points; from now on, children will grow up not knowing about zalgo. We'll find a way to use this to troll them, somehow.

Apparently there is a new world record for ski jumping:

two
hundred
fifty-four
and a half

meters.

Holy moly!

I'm not sure if the Zalgo stuff was the problem but I figure it was safer to remove it than to leave it and find it was breaking things as well as the special characters.
