I think I found a way round the military people quit being military to eat drink or sleep, then re-enlist.

Assign them to the barracks. Cuz Ben just went to sleep, and hes still a hammer dwarf.

I hope you plan on dropping the "legacy" version once you have worked everything out with the SDL one maintaining yet another version of code is going to eventually kill you.

It would be nice to have the function back... I liked to have inbuilt long music.
I'll see what I can do. In return, please give me a cookie.

When using mayday's graphic set repackage (not sure if this happens to vanilla, out-of-the-box install), whenever I close a dwarf mode menu I see a black rectangle flicker for an instant, and a pair of the grey tiles that circle the interface dies out to black. It repeats whenever I open a menu, however the extent of the black retangle flicker seems to vary (it seems to be "anchored" to the right of the screen). Whenever it "hits" another pair of the gray blocks in the border, it also turns them black. This goes on until the interface border is dotted with black tiles, however the black flicker is the most annoyning part.
Going to the esc-key menu refreshes the border however.
I've seen this happen on these print modes: Standard, Frame_buffer, VBO, and 2dasync.

I really want that one as a "when". I want "grubs", and "virgin woman" to turn into a dragon. and monkey children to suddenly sprout wings. And I want the Dwarven Mutant Academy to only gain their powers upon reaching puberty. I also have a whole host of odd creatures that only make sense if I divide them into children and adults.

Also, tadpoles.

Elven Caravans take months to leave, usually they will be gone shortly after the humans arrive. During this time, every time, my FPS drop by 50-70 Points. I'm not sure, but I think they are trying to load their waggons. When I destroy the Depot, I end up with all of their stuff, and they leave happily. Only to return the next year with twice as big a caravan. Yay. Took me two years one time to sell all of their crap to anyone who would take it. I even deposited some of it for the kobolds.
One more reason to hat those scrawny little weednibblers.

Can anyone confirm this?

Also, I started an elephant-farm. I've chained the elephants in a 1-Tile room, made the door unpassable for pets. When the elephants gave birth (3 calfs? Holy sh...), the calfs found no way out of the cell, dropping my FPS by around 50 (That makes minus 100 to 120 points fps, when elves come into play, yes.). After I released the buggers, they frolicked through the bones of their fathers, and my FPS went up again. Pathing, I guess.
(Oh, the chained adults didn't seem to do much harm to my FPS.)

A missing raw tag for the pack animals that the elvens use. Dont know which though. Known bug.

0.31.05 - Went to view stocks for globs, resulted in crash as soon as I highlighted it.

Yup, known.  There are already several uploaded saves, fortunately.

After generating up a new world to play on, about 2 hours in it crashed when I tried to 'v'iew a creeping eye underground. The only important information about the world would be that I generated it with only 1 cavern layer, opening 100/100, passaged 0/0. Just one more random issue to be worked out, hopefully this will be helpful, and if you need more information I'll try to provide.

So I had my first ambush not quite two years in: five hammergoblins and a swordsgoblin. They killed all 40+ dwarves in my fortress without incurring a single injury in under two weeks. Is anyone else finding goblins to be ridiculously overpowered in this version?
