It would pretty much mean that a lot of retconning would be needed to explain things.

Sen would still be sealed inside of Hyoma, who would not have been exiled from his village, thus having one of the last free human locations.

Samson would be dead due to constant fighting, being captured, breaking free, etc.

I've decided that if Samson ever dies, Shade is going to become an immensely powerful demonic spirit that has taken over the location where Samson died and is now guarding said area. She would be considered a boss level enemy and would need to be exercised. It's canon now.
