All credit goes to Irony as it was originally his idea so don't give me the accolades for anything but being willing to run this.
Players take the role of various horrors of the night in a quest to bring about their own twisted vision of the future. Various factions and individuals (vampire hunters, King's Guard, sorcerer's cabal) might oppose the PCs, others (obsessed researcher, smuggler's ring, different sorcerer's cabal) might be working with or against anyone depending on what's in it for them, and some (revenge-obsessed madman, demonic cult, third sorcerer's cabal) might wholly approve of and aid/serve the PCs. Setting could be anything, though I'd prefer medievalish myself. Might work especially well with steampunk, if you'd prefer.
The game would have a number of goals. In overarching terms, of course, the PCs all want to enact their visions of paradise- for vampires that might include blotting out the sun, demons might want hellish torture camps everywhere, and tentacles abominations from beyond the stars might just want to summon a piece of sanity-cracking home into the sky. Whatever their specific plans, it should probably be accomplished via the use of fairly standardized rituals, so as not to disadvantage those with more ambitious or impractical plans. Cracking the boundary between two worlds is a good default method, since it allows the change to be gradual but difficult to reverse, as opposed to "Hello you all serve vampires now" or "Some areas are controlled by ravening demons but them and the human regions aren't really fighting."
Needless to say, the closer the PCs get to their goals, the more hellish the world (or at least region) becomes, and the more parties become interested (or outright desperate) to stop them (or maybe get on their good side). There's also the issue of conflicting visions- PCs will have to decide if they're simply going to share the world, or decide who gets to achieve what through different means.
Beyond that, there's the difficulties with operating among those who are clearly not the PCs own kind, and satisfying whatever unusual dietary and perhaps recreational requirements they might have without arousing too much suspicion. A vampire needs to eat, and a demon might have to torture people to death for no apparent reason. Hiding these incidents from anyone who might object to them might be a project in its own right.
That is the post that inspired me and the following rules/char sheet will be based off of that.
There are 6 regions in the world (called Valoron).
The Dread Isles lie to the far north and are filled to the brim with sentient undead that don't take kindly to trespassers. It also constantly winter there so expect snow and darkness, both in large quanities.
The Plains of Ostar are in the Northern Section of the Main Continent. This land is dominated by humans and their Lawful Good religion.
To the West of the Main Continent is the Desert of the Makers. Various animal-people live here as it is the only place they are welcome.
In the Center of the Continent are the Urist Mountains. This area is dominated by rogue wizards who have set up towers among the peaks and Dwarves who live inside of the great mountains.
The Marshes of the Wild are in the East and have recently been vacated by the Animal People after a coalition of Elves, Dwarves and Men attacked. The Elves, Dwarves, and Men are now arguing over who controls what portions of the Marsh.
The Unseen Forests lie at the far southern end of the main continent. It is dominated by elves who revere nature. Damn hippie elves.
The Player can be one of three types of Horrors that have pros and cons as listed here.
Vampires, Pro: Never need to sleep and dramatically faster and stronger at night (i.e. can do actions outside of normal possibility, not a roll bonus) Con: Must feed at least once per day on a living creature or gain 25% hunger. At 100% hunger you die. At 50% hunger you can no longer pass off as human and thus are shunned by all mortals but revered by the undead.
Demons, Pro: Worshipped by dark sects scattered throughout the land. Various mutations give special abilities. Mutations are gained as you feast on the souls of the innocent. Con: Instantly recognizable as a demon unless magically altered. Mutations are gained from not feeding as well, and those will not be beneficial.
Abominations, Pro: Can assume the form of a mortal or your true form at any time. Can manipulate the thoughts of others. Con: Must drive at least one person insane per two days or risk being thrown back into the plane you came from. Manipulating the thoughts of others requires you to take your true form.
Rule #1: Under no circumstances may any player ever learn magic. If you want to use magic you better get a Wizard/Lich on your side right quick.
Rule #2: Working together can be very beneficial, but it is never required.
Rule #3: You will receive two (2) actions per turn, use them wisely as I'll only take the first two. Talking is considered a free action and is an auto-success. Persuasion and Diplomacy are not considered talking.
Rule #4: Wizard/Lich spells will be rolled and count as one of the actions for your character, even if the Wizard/Lich isn't even remotely close to you at the time or in need of your assistance.
Rule #5: The Dice will be rolled here at my house and will have the following meanings out of combat: [1]: Epic Failure, [2]: Failure, [3]: Half Failure Half Success, [4]: Success, [5]: Epic Success, [6]: Like a boss Success.
Rule #6: Combat rolls will mean the following: [1]: Terrible Miss, [2]: Miss, [3]: Glancing Hit (1/2 damage), [4]: Hit, [5]: Critical Hit (double damage), [6] Dodge
Rule #7: All characters will have 25 health, unless strengthened by a ritual strengthening their bond to this world (or in the case of vampires just making them more powerful) that costs 5,000 gold pieces in order to gain 5 health. The ritual can be performed five times, or up to 50 health.
Rule #8: All bonuses are hard capped at + or - 3 for combat and + or - 1 for non-combat rolls.
Rule #9: All damage will be ([1d6] + your bonus, - enemy bonus) x hit type (glancing, normal, or critical)
Rule #10: Battles between large numbers of NPC's (20 or more on both sides) will be decided as such. Both sides will roll 1d100 (or 2d10 for those of you who know how the DnD percentile rolls work) Modifiers for things such as preparedness, size, quality of troops, and quality of arms will then be added. The lower result will then be divided by the higher result in order to determine the percentage of troops remaining. The winning side will lose troops equal to the difference between the two scores.((For example, 100 unarmed snake men attack 100 unarmed dwarves. The dwarves roll an 80, the snake men roll a 76. There are no modifiers in this example since the troops are equal in strength and equipment. The snake men lose 5% of their forces or 5 people, the dwarves lose 4 people.))

Horror Type:
Appearance:

Starting Region:
Ultimate Goal: This can be changed later in order to coincide with the other horrors (who don't necessarily have to be of your type). If it is to easy, it will automatically default to: Rule 4 regions.
Inventory: Clothes, one weapon.
For the start I think I'm going to limit it to two horrors of each type, that way we at least start off nice and well rounded. Irony gets choice of whatever horror he wants to be, sorry if that kicks anyone out of their preferred horror types but I made a promise and I have to keep it.
Once I get an idea of how this is going to play out I'll make a more detailed first post so you have plenty to work with when you get started.
Name: Makavai
Gender: Male
Horror Type: Vampire
Appearance: When fully fed and attempting to pass as human, a handsome man with pale skin and stark white hair and eyes. When hungry, much the same but with obvious fangs, a larger jaw, glowing red eyes, and inhumanly long fingers.
Background: Long ago, Makavai was a ruthless nobleman- strong, agile, handsome, cunning, and lacking any shred of sympathy or remorse. He successfully brought ruin to many in his rise to power, but his ambition knew no bounds. Always he sought to climb higher, and always there was a mountain of corpses to aid him.
Unfortunately, one of those ruined by his ruthless scheming happened to be a vampiress. She fell madly in love with him as a result, and expressed her love the only way she knew how. Cunning though he was, Makavai was far, far too hated by far, far too many people to be able to sustain such a grisly new secret, and was soon found out by those who would stop at nothing to see him ruined. He fled to the wilderness, swearing the bloodiest vengeance upon all who had dared cross him.
Innumerable butchered travelers later, Makavai's rage and bloodlust has subsided, and his old memories have returned. He doesn't remember how long it's been, where he used to live, or whatever happened to his paramour, and he doesn't care. What he remembers is that he is destined to rule the world, and the time has come for him to stop massacring villagers in the middle of nowhere and seize his mantle.
Starting Region: The Dread Isles
Ultimate Goal: Gain complete dominion over the sun and all who dwell beneath it.
Inventory: Clothes, Rapier
Name: Rasputin Ava
Gender: Male
Horror Type: Vampire
Appearance: He often choses to take the form of a wealthy nobleman of a moderate build, wearing rich clothing and various forms of jewelery , The true noteworthy detail is the golden eyes and gem laden teeth seen when he (Often) smiles.
Background: The third son of a Nobleman of no great repute he was forced to join a monastic order but he had spited them from the begining. He hated the vows he was forced to take, especially those of celibacy and poverty. Through a series of (self-inflected) events he put in motion his becoming a vampire. Only to put his plan to action
Starting Region: Marshes of the Wild
Ultimate Goal: To Surround himself with the ultimate riches and bring about a time of consumption and wild avarice. ((Must control at least two regions))
Inventory: Noble Clothing, Rapier
Name: Pestilance
Gender: Male
Horror Type: Demon
Appearance: A thin sickly looking man with blond hair tied back in a ponytail. Bright green eyes, sharp features to his face, and pale skin. He dresses well and carries a cane.
Background: One of the four horsemen, he is the bringer of disease, plague, and infestations.
Starting Region: The Plains of Ostar
Ultimate Goal: Awaken his three brothers one by one and bring about the end of the world
Inventory: Rich Merchant clothing, Canesword(sword hidden in a cane).
Name: Hellbringer
Gender: Male
Horror Type: Demon
Appearance: 2 Horns, Flaming Hair, Blood Red Eyes, 8 Ft 9 In, Small Claws, and Tail
Background: Hellbringer is the son of a former demon lord, and a succubus. His mother was killed by another demon lord, and his father died sacrificing himself to kill the man who slayed his wife. Every since then Hellbringer had fled to Dread Isle with his father's sword Asgard here he would create his army to help him become the King Of all Demons.
Starting Region: Dread Isle
Ultimate Goal: Become the King Of All Demons
Inventory: Dyed golden robes, and a large two handed one sided sword. Blood red, and with a crystal embedded in the hilt.
Name: Tarran.
Gender: Male?
Horror Type: Abomination.
Appearance: Lots of ey-OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT. (AKA it doesn't matter because people's minds will melt). ((Or maybe this? (http://www.maptreasures.net/kitchen%20fairies/sky%20rocket%20belly%20button.jpg)))
Background: Countless years old, Tarran is one of the Elder Gods' sons. Not much is known about him, but that he's relatively tame and is more Lawful Evil and less Chaotic Evil. He seeks to own the realm of the Elder Gods, through whatever means necessary. He doesn't care about much else.
Starting Region: The Plains of Ostar.
Ultimate Goal: Rule the planes of the Elder Gods, and at least one region.
Inventory: Clothes, Longsword.
Name: Tekrushar, So-zar, Shuakegu, Tel'ars, The Screaming One, The Shambling Dreamer, The Voice Which Must Not Be Heard
Gender: Male
Horror Type: Abomination
Appearance: As a human, Tekrushar appears to be a normal looking man, 5'10, 200 pounds. A bit chubby but not exactly fat, one might say. He has long black hair touching his shoulders and brown eyes. But if seen out of the corner of your eyes, he appears wrong; his eyes and mouth are black hollow voids, and his body appears to be patched here and there with thin purple veins and rotting yellow flesh. If his shadow is stared at for too long, one can almost see shapes waver and break away from the main mass, slithering towards all nearby forms of life such as grass and animals while shaking back and forth like tentacles and making desperate lunges as if to devour whatever they can. Even when looked at directly, sometimes he appears to shimmer like a mirage as he moves. Just viewing him gives one a sense of dread, discomfort, unease. In his true form, The Screaming One most resembles a horrific giant mass of yellow flesh, eyes bleeding a viscous purple fluid, and fanged mouths, both dragging itself along and capturing prey with a multitude of black tongues, shrieking in Brown Notes and emitting a thick smoky fog behind it as it moves. In human guise Shuakegu always speaks with hollow, rasped, lifeless tones that seem to echo endlessly yet are just barely within hearing, and is generally smoking a cigarette.
Background: Where does an eldritch lord come from? Who can say how long one has lived? All anyone can say for certain is that this beast has haunted the nightmares of holy men for time untold...
Starting Region: Unseen Forests
Ultimate Goal: Devour all living creatures, from the smallest of worms to the sentient races to the great beasts and follow horrors themselves.
Inventory: Tel'ars, as a human, generally prefers appearing in the most modest clothes befitting the region he's in so as not to stand out. He usually carries a halberd since its versatile and practical.
Waiting List: N/A
Appear
[6] You slowly open your eyes. Damn, that was one crazy night last night. Normally vampires don't even sleep but you guess after as much alcohol as you had last night you just sort of passed out. Looking around you see you are in some sparse room for the few living visitors the Dread Isles get. Your clothes and rapier are in your possession at least. There is a wardrobe, and a bed in the room. Some raspy shouting comes from beneath you as well as a broom knocking on the ceiling... erm... your floor you suppose.
"Yah goin' ta' sleep all day fleshbag? Get up already."
You shrug off the shouting, and decide you'll go at your own pace, but what can you even do. With Miasma, the largest city in the Dread Isles, under the control of a very powerful lich you doubt this is really a great place to start your empire, then again, you have to dream big to be big.
Appear
[4] The great turmoil in the Marshes of the Wild have been great for you. Plenty of fools to feed on and then the blame gets passed to either the humans, elves, or dwarves. At least as long as you make it look like murder. Unfortunately the turmoil in this area is just about coming to an end as the negotiations are now just winding down to a few bitter square miles hotly contested by all the mortals here. Of course... if you manage to get the area to erupt in conflict again, it just might make a perfect home for a while. You mull these thoughts over as you sit on top of the roof of the former inn turned Town Hall watching the sun rise. Not much time for thinking you suppose as when people wake up if they see you up there they will start to wonder. Time to get to work carving out your own little empire here in the middle of the Marshes.
Appear
[3] Even though it is only morning, you are already annoyed by this place. Nothing but peaceful farmland ruled by self-righteous lords who worship a god who despises all that is evil. There are precious few places that accept your kind here and you are on your way to one of them. In the outskirts of the local village there is a dark sect that worships demons. If you can convince them to worship only you, you might stand a chance at making way for some improvements to the area.
Appear
[4] Even in an area such as the Dread Isles where the dead walk and the living are few and far between your kind is not accepted in all but the rarest of places. You are resting in a cave that is the meeting area of one such group of people. Soon the worshipers begin to stream in, but you standing in the shadows are going to be a surprise they didn't expect. No doubt they will accept a demon of your power as their patron, or they will all die and you will feast on their souls. Either option suits you just fine.
Appear
[3] You look around and are filled with disgust. This petty village is no place for a person of your power. What's worse is these pathetic humans can actually fight against you with a contingent of knights passing through right now on their way back to Castile, the main human city. The knights are all veterans from the recent conflict with the animal peoples in the Marshes. Every cloud has a silver lining though you remind yourself as you begin to think of ways to take advantage of this development.
Appear
[1] You look around at the destruction. Normally this would please you greatly but you had no hand in this whatsoever. The animal people recently raided and burnt this section of forest to the ground, leaving it nearly lifeless besides for the occasional elf druid seeking to rekindle nature. It annoys you that you are so far from civilization, but then again, perhaps this is the perfect opportunity to gain a thrall to serve as your willing meat shield.

This will be the standard format for any posts. If I messed anything up let me know and I'll fix it.
Also, each region of the map has the following: 1 City, 3 Towns, 10 Villages. Hope that helps. Also if somebody wants to come up with a map, I would be exceptionally grateful and will assist you with naming the cities and towns not yet mentioned.
Oh, and Villages are just numbered, not given names, because that would be annoying.
Just make sure you BCC me, I like to know what is going on. That's what makes me a good DM. . . or nosy. Either one I suppose. No seriously, add me in to the PMs.
Continue towards the village to find this cult, but try not to be seen, it would be most annoying if I was reported.
[1] You continue onwards, but it isn't long before you hear the alarm being raised. Curses, some peasant must have seen you and ran ahead of you to report it. The town guard will be here soon. You could probably kill them, but then the humans would send actual soldiers to hunt you down. How annoying.
Go into human form and look for another village.
[4] Thankfully you were already in human form otherwise the knights would already be attacking you. You quickly gather up your belongings, that is to say, nothing, and head out on the roads. You reach an intersection, the road to the right would take you to Castile, the road to the left would take you to some other peasant village. Oh the decisions one must make.
Shuakegu smiled to himself, taking a deep drag from his cigarette as he looked around. Good, good... Looks like there's a lot of fear in this part of the world. Fear and anger. A shame there are no survivors to feed upon. He removed the cigarette and exhaled the smoke; too big a cloud of it came from his mouth, more than any mortal man could possibly hold in his lungs. After it dissipated into the air, he stuck out his tongue and tasted the the air. The hatred tastes like sentient animals and elves. I think I'll take a look around before I follow that sweet, succulent sensation back to its source.
He pulled his tongue back into his mouth, replaced his cigarette at the corner of his lips, and shouldered his halberd. Yes, indeed. Not a great beginning, but it was a challenge, and he hadn't had one in years. Maybe there would be a druid around to snack on... or drive insane. Maybe even to convert into a worshipper. He grinned and headed off in a random direction to look for one.
[2] You head off in an random direction keen on finding an elven druid but none show up. Before too long you arrive at the official border between the Deserts and the Forest. You can see a small village of animal people on the horizon. You chuckle a little, look for elves and find the animals.
Hellbringer then stepped forward so they could see him in his demon form, and said "I am Hellbringer, the future Demon King. It is a pleasure to meet ones that could be allies, so how about it will you join me on my quest to becoming the Demon King, and become my allies, and my loyal soldiers?"
[5] The mortals err. . . dead mortals, are instantly impressed with seeing a true demon and agree to serve you and only you almost instantly. It's good to be the king. . . future king.
Gained: 10 Undead Followers
Scout the village out, looking particularly for some wealthy nobles or disgruntled soldiers
[6] The town is too new, too fresh, for any of the "nobles" here to be all that wealthy. Nearly all the soldiers are disgruntled though on the bright side seeing as how this town is in the middle of a mud pit that's infected with insects and far away from their homes.
Head down and ask the innkeeper or equivalent who the real powers are here. The lich can't be the only entity with any clout, even if most of the real players are under his banner.
If we get a second action, get a second opinion out on the streets.
[1] You head downstairs and find the innkeeper is missing his lower jaw. Apparently it was the cook that was yelling at you earlier. . . or something. You ask him about the major players here in town but all you get back is "Mmrrogllmrollgoel." You're assuming that roughly translates to "Go away."
[4] Taking the hint you leave the inn and head outside. Zombies, skeletons, and wraiths all walk the streets presumably living their lives just as though they had never ended. You see a small skeleton boy employed as a Crier and ask him about the major players in town. "Yah must be new 'round these parts. Lookin' pretty fresh too if I do say so myself. Of course the Lich, Xavier, is the one everyone knows about. There are a couple who don't take too kindly to his influence though. The Skeleton "King" John the fourteenth and the Wraith Claire, are very opposed to his policies. Why just yesterday Claire was raisin' all sorts of trouble down in the town square. I bet if you search the surrounding area, she's still around." You give the boy a couple of copper pieces you didn't know you had in your pocket for his trouble and begin to plan your next move.

run and hide
[6] You run faster than you knew you could. Some might call you a coward, but making this many enemies this early would simply be insane. Eventually, you find a suitable field and disappear into the middle of this. You sit there surrounded by corn, what to do now?
Shuakegu stopped and stared at the animal village, tapping some ash from his cigarette as he thought over his next course of action. Devour, destroy, or dominate? Dominate. He could always eat later. Maybe he could even get them to believe that sacrificing themselves to him was in their best interests if they wanted to exterminate the elves. Besides... he was always hungry. Waiting a few more days wouldn't make a difference at all. And if they didn't want to follow him, he could always... have a little fun with them. He approached the village, wondering how many would faint at the sight of his true form, how many would lose their sanity upon revealing it. Would any of them rally enough to fight back? An interesting idea.
For now, he would appraise the situation at the village, claiming to be a lost traveler.
[6] You walk toward the town and after an hour you find yourself surrounded by celebrating dog-men. Apparently they are the ones who launched the raid on the elves and they have currently drunk themselves silly. In fact nobody even seems to notice you, all of them caught up in their own reveling.
Rasputin flitted between Soldiers attempting to fill their heads with seditious thoughts, give in return hopeful thoughts about getting out of this trap, having the ability to make it big. Use self as an example and attempt to bring some closer to his cause in this manner.
[2] The soldiers tell you to buzz off as soon as you start spouting anything near anti-government nonsense. Well trained these gents.
Go to the village.
And then look for any elder-god-worshiping crazies.
[2] You are on your way to the Village when a group of bandits jump out. "Your money or your life!" the leader screams. There are only 5 of them, easy pickings for one such as yourself. ((After all, you do have a sky rocket in your true form :P))
These men will be my first soldiers, and now I need a lich for no army can stand victorious without a mage to support their men. thought Hellbringer as he sat down in front of his new followers. He stared at them for a second before saying "You will be the first warriors to join my cause, adn for that you will be greatly rewarded when I take my rightful place on the throne. Now I have some questions to ask of you for I need information. First, Are there any liches in this town who might be willing to join our cause, and are there any others groups such as yours that might be willing to join me? " Hellbringer placeed his sword down directly beside him it was about the size of an average human, and he could swing it with just one hand.
[auto-fail] The apparent leader kneels before you before saying, "There are no liches in this town. Liches for the most part are solitary and live alone in the wilds where they can practice their magic in peace." [6] "However, the ten of us are very influential in this town. No doubt we could get some to join us. Shall we make it so?"
Go find this Claire wraith and let her rant at me about why she dislikes Xavier.
Ask a random passerby what it thinks of Xavier and the city as a whole.
[5] Surprisingly, or maybe not, it doesn't take you long at all to find the Wraith known as Claire. [3] She isn't sure whether or not to trust you as she doesn't knows you but takes a chance and decides that, for the moment, you are trustworthy. "Xavier is nothing more than a magic-using cretin. He uses his magic to enthrall all the guards that work for him, taking away their free-will. Who knows how many else in this city are really nothing more than vessels of his will. I would love nothing more than to take his Phylactery, destroy it utterly and drop it in the bottom of the ocean." She seems quite angry about the whole situation.
((Sorry, you had a persuasion roll to see if she would trust you, she still doesn't completely, if you want to recruit her to help you in starting your own empire, you're going to need to pass another persuasion roll with at least a [3]))

Partially expose my true form. Also get ready just in case they attempt to attack.
[3] You do expose your true form, but all it does is make them want to attack you for being a freak of nature. [2] You're so surprised by their not running away you do absolutely nothing to avoid or stop their attacks.
Hellbringer looked at the leader, and said "Yes do so, and gather as much funds as possible for now I have much to do." with that Hellbringer got up, and walked out deciding to search the town for more to join the cause.
[5] Your new worshipers and find several people likely to join your cause. They want to meet with you before they make any commitments though. [3] You think about approaching the town, but you realize that would bring a lot of soldiers down on you since there is an active guard presence here. Instead you decide to just wait for the moment and let your minions do the work.
((I'm too nice, I really should have just brought down the soldiers on you, thank me.))
Attempt to round up some dull-witted yet (hopefully) wealthy/influential followers
[3] You manage to find one moderately (and I use that term loosely) wealthy traveling merchant in town. He's not really interested in investing in a no-name like you though. Damn it all to hell.
"If you don't like the local service, start your own," Makavai said smoothly. "How would you like to aid me in acquiring an empire, and rule over a free-willed piece of it yourself?"
"And while we're on the topic... do you have any followers? Allies? Enemies?"
[3] "You don't seem like one of Xavier's men. I think I can trust you. I will help you Mr. Makavai." [4] She has a few loyal followers, but Xavier may very well start cracking down on you now if he catches wind of your where abouts. She also has a hidden base in a nearby Village
((Claire is a lieutenant, she can govern a town/city for you while you are gone, as well as have above-average statistics and being able to perform many of the same actions that you could. Villages have no need for a Lieutenant to govern them.))
So-zar looked around at the revelers. So weak-minded. With the drink clouding their senses they will be easy prey. But perhaps I should be careful with this. Mortals panic so easily. Tekrushar entered the nearest construct, making sure he was hidden from view, and leaned his halberd on the wall. He dropped to all fours, growling like a feral animal as the change took him, his body and clothes melting into an amorphous mass, his eyes and mouth becoming hollow voids before splitting his skull into pieces and joining the rest of the mass, spreading across the interior and filling the entire floor space. Not his full size; he couldn't manifest completely in the mortal realm yet. He didn't have the power yet; wouldn't until he had consumed enough. But for now what he had would suit his purposes.
He reached out to the thoughts of as many drunken dog-men as he could, filling their minds with a horrendous cacophony of voices screaming to worship The Voice Which Must Not Be Heard, to give their hearts and minds, souls and lives to The Shambling Dreamer, to bring others to this place so they too could become a part of his glory...
[4] You head inside one of the nearby buildings without being noticed before transforming into your true form, albeit a little bit more wee. With very little effort you start speaking directly into the minds of the dog-men. They're not your slaves yet though, you can only influence them for the moment. Everyone is soon gathered in the village square though. Of course, only being able to enslave one at a time is problematic. . . how to solve this issue?
Kaguro sighed to himself before trying, again, to find these supposed demon worshipers while not being seen.
[5] You manage to get near the town unobserved this time. You manage to find the basement belong to the demon-worshipers. Nobody is there right now though, probably isn't safe for them to meet this soon after a demon sighting you reason.

Bandit 1: [4] [4 damage] The leader takes charge and slices off one of your many tentacles, it almost instantly begins to rot away into nothingness.
Bandit 2: [2] Misses as you writhe in pain from the multiple people attacking you with swords
Bandit 3: [3] [4/2=2 damage] This bandit nicks one your many tentacles. It stings, but you'll live.
Bandit 4: [3] [6/2=3 damage] This bandit attacks your human form stabbing his swords straight through your chest, it is embedded in the wound and try as he might he can't get it back out.
Bandit 5: [2] Also misses for the same reasons as the second bandit.

Tarran, a bit of advice, you can attack twice, they can't. Tear them apart quickly or their numbers will in fact overwhelm you.
I AM A UPDATING EVERYTHING TODAY, I FEEL TEH AMBITION!!!
Ow, jerks.
"AAARRRGGGHHH! NOW YOU DIE!"
Turn fully into my true form and rip the heads off the first and fourth (two attacks).
[6] You attempt to rip the head off of the Bandit Leader but he dodges out of the way, straight behind Bandit Four who. [4] [3 damage] Loses his head in a spectacular fashion. The blood, it is everywhere.
Convince him of the investment opertunities and future buissness partnerships
[1] "So... investing in me is a good idea."
"How so?"
"I. . . I wasn't expecting to get this far."
He probed their thoughts, looking for the most influential among the dog-men, the one the others trusted most. His mind would be enslaved and totally bent to the The Screaming One's will, and that dog-man would speak his praises to the others until they believed in him of their own will... and if they didn't, he could spare a little of his willpower towards pushing them to believe their leader's words.
[6] With no effort whatsoever you warp the pathetic dog-man leader's mind beyond recognition until he is merely an extension of your will. [4] vs. [3] Though initially doubtful, the entire village soon believes that you, The Screaming One, will lead them to future glory and conquest against the elves.
LONG LIVE SHUAKEGU, LEADER OF THE DOG-MEN, DESTROYER OF ELVES!
Event Roll: [5] A snake person trading caravan is on it's way here now, it brings weapons for the dog-men in exchange for the dog-mens elven slaves that were recently capture in the raid on the forest.
"Bring them here then, and see if you can't find a way of securing some weaponry for our cause while you are at." said Hellbringer as he sat there waiting to see these prospective followers, and excited at the opportunity to gain some weapons, and begin training these followers to be his first warriors.
[6] Not only are they brought before you but they instantly agree to serve you. Nice. [3] Your undead followers are soon armed with daggers and clubs. A start, but hardly professional.
Sit in a dark corner of this place and wait as long as it takes for the demon worshippers to arrive.
[4] You merely sit down and wait for the demon worshippers to arrive. You're beginning to feel hungry, hungry to feast upon the souls of the innocent. One of the worshipers heads down to the basement and sees you. "Why hello, I was wondering when somebody would show up?" You say.
"Excellent! You may wish to assemble any of your followers that don't wish to stay here; we'll be leaving for someplace a bit less... contested, shortly.
First, however, I need to call on another potential ally; fancies himself a king, I believe? In any case, I'll return in relatively short order."
Find this King John or whoever he was, inquire as to his opinions on Xavier and such.
[6] "I understand, here, it's a map to our base, come as soon as you finish your business here, we'll prepare the way for you," says Claire. You'll be able to locate them with ease later.
[2] You can't find any trace of King John the Fourteenth though. How is a skeleton who calls himself king this good at hiding?
Enemy Actions
Bandit 1: [6] You writhe out of the way of the bandit leader's attack

It is now midday, in 5 more turns it will become night.
I found my favorite die again. YEY! How nerdy is it that I have a favorite die?
"Ok now begins our main operation. I want ten of you to go out, and begin secureing funds, resources, and items for our cause, and the other ten of you I want to stay here, and begin training in combet I will instruct you in the arts of war. Now let us begin." said Helbringer a s he stood up, and began overseeing the training of his new warriors.
[2] You send out 10 of your followers to begin trying to secure money for your future operations, but it doesn't really go so well. In fact, they manage to secure absolutely nothing at all and some of them lost their life fortunes in games of chance trying to get some money for you.
[5] Luckily all is not lost however as the other ten followers now have basic aptitude in fighting. You could probably use them to start mugging people as they are about as well-trained as most Bandits. ((10 followers upgraded to Bandit followers))
The power of belief... It had been a long time since any mortal being had accepted him as their lord, and it was a nostalgic feeling for Shuakegu. Yes, he would destroy the elves these dog-men despised. An elf's flavor was wholly different than most races, probably due to their diet. They would be a fitting first course. He showed the leader what he looked like in his human guise so he would be recognized, then changed back and grabbed his halberd.
A trader - a snakeman, specifically - was arriving soon to exchange elven slaves for weapons. "We will wait," he said, leaning on his halberd. "We will trade these slaves. We will march on their home. We will burn their forests to smoldering ashes and we will gnaw on their bones, feast on their flesh and desecrate their graves." He smiled to himself. That last was always a fun diversion. The last time he had manifested - when was that, even? It had been too long ago - he had had a field day in a building humans had considered holy. It was always so satisfying to devour the faith of weak-willed mortals and replace their beliefs with belief in him.
It's been far too long. I can't even remember what happened. He had gotten banished back, somehow, to gather his strength until he could again rip through the void. He would have to be a bit more careful this time; gather resources and followers slowly and methodically.
[3] You transform back into your human guise and show your dog-men followers that form so that they might recognize you when discretion was necessary. You're not sure about the dog-men's intelligence but then again, how hard is recognizing somebody. You take a long drag on your cigarette and puff out a series of smoke rings while waiting for the Snakemen to arrive and take the slaves. With any luck he won't ask too many questions so the rest of the snakemen wouldn't get too curious about why a human was staying with them. Your cigarette spent, you toss it to the side and stamp it out in the sands of the desert. You quickly bring out another one from your cigarette holder though and light it. The whole while watching the snakemen get closer and closer to the village.
[6] The snakemen make terrific progress, and with the help of your followers silently unload the weapons, load the slaves and take off back for home. With that kind of speed they might even make it back before nightfall. You moisten your lips with your tongue. It is hot and dry here, with any luck, the Unseen Forests would soon be even hotter.
(Weapon Quality Roll: [1]) You've been had! Those snake men gave you nothing but broken weapons and scrap metal. You let out a ferocious blood-curdling scream, they would suffer for this treachery!
"RAAAAAHHHHHHH YOU IDIOTS! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!"
Tarran whipped a tentacle towards Bandit 5 and attempted to eat his head while smashing a bolder into Bandit 2's head.
[4] [6 damage] You whip Bandit 5 with one of your tentacles and draw him towards your mouth, with one smooth motion he his swallowed into the endless void. [2] There are no boulders nearby so you try to throw a near-by fence post at the Bandit, it is pointless though as the fence post flew a good 5 feet above his head.
Make another attempt to find and converse with this elusive king.
[6] Oh, a skeleton king in a desecrated mausoleum... why didn't you think of this earlier? [4] "I am the only true king of these lands, as my father's father's father was. To have some no-name Lich in charge is a shame to my family's honor. Now then, do you have any royal decrees that need signing?" At a guess, the skeleton is completely crazy, but crazy people have their uses of course.
(Event Roll: [2]) Claire reached the outskirts of the village when she saw guards of the Lich posted all around her "secret" base. This might be a problem. For the moment they remain unseen at least.
Elaborate DAMMIT.
[1] You attempt to string a sentence together but the merchant is so embarrassed for you that he leaves wordlessly.
((I'm so sorry about this string of terrible luck you appear to be having. I was really hoping that would succeed, alas it is only my job to report the rolls and make up fun descriptions for them. You might want to try asking around for rumors though, I'll try and give you something decent.))
Dust myself off and introduce myself "Hello mortal, I am Pestilance" Grin darkly "I had heard you worship demons. Let me guess the object of you worship is a lesser demon like an imp right? wouldn't you prefer to worship a greater demon, a being has the power to grant you your hearts desire?"
[4] Intrigued the mortal listens. He goes off to gather the other worshipers. [3] They are not nearly as impressed however, but agree to serve you, for now.

Bandit 1: [2] The Bandit Leader attempts to throw a dagger into the endless void of your mouth as you eat one of his fellow bandits, and in fact does so. But it's an endless void for a reason, it does absolutely nothing to you whatsoever.
Bandit 2: [3] [3/2 = 2 damage (I'm adding in the half damage from last turn to this turn)] This bandit once again is the super star of team Bandit and manages to stab you in one of your eyes squirting your black blood all over himself and the ground.
Bandit 3: [1] Bandit 3 doesn't move at all, his britches still need changing and he just can't seem to find the extra pair his wife packed him.

I should mention, if you train up some of your people you can actually start your own economy thus making trade and production much more reliable, though probably not as fast. Of course that really only applies to those of you with followers right now.
"Ahhh... Raaaahhhh!" Tarran screamed somewhat weakly. The fighting was taking it's toll on him and he was loosing blood somewhat quickly.
Tarran continued fighting by spitting out Bandit 1's dagger at a very high velocity, and throwing Bandit 3 into Bandit 2.
[6] You spit the dagger back out of your mouth at the Bandit Leader, but he knocks it away with his sword. [5] [3x2=6 damage] [4x2=8 damage] Grabbing ahold of the bandit you throw him into one of the others, killing both as their heads slam together. Pathetic mortals!
Hellbringer stared at the ones he had sent to collect the funds, and said "It is alright, but I expect you to get it right this time now once again I ask you to go, adn collect more funds while I stay here, and over see the training of these men." He then went to overseeing the training of the bandits to be better soldiers, as the others went out to gather money.
[6] You're followers manage to get you 10 gold coins. YEY! [2] They might be better soldiers, if you some how managed to actually get some weapons and armor for them. As it is however, they're probably about as skilled as they are going to get.
Grin. "Good little mortals, now bring me innocents who you can steal away from their homes without the guards getting too suspicious, if you do that I'll show you something interesting."
[2] "Yeah. . . about that not attracting the guards attention. That didn't exactly goes as planned as the guards killed five of us as we were trying to abduct some children."
So-zar took a deep breath and kept himself from falling back into his true form. "First, we will pay these treacherous snakes back ten fold for this," he said to the dog-men. "Follow. I will show them the true face of your new leader." With any luck, their inevitable victory over the snakemen would increase their faith in him. When they got to the village, he would order the dog-men to sneak in and steal whatever weaponry they could, then wait for his signal to begin the attack.
[4] The Dog-men quickly gather up what little weaponry they have and take off after the snake-men. You follow along behind them. The sands of the desert aren't great for travel but you manage to keep the traders in sight. Not too much longer until they face your wrath.
Rasputin curses as he sulks back towards the Tavern, keeping his ear figuratively to the ground for any rumors or secrets that may be floating around the smokey rooms, Information is Power also
[5] You head back to the Tavern, quite sad about your recent failures when you suddenly hear about a lightly guarded Dwavern Caravan headed hear with gems and precious metals on board. They're planning on trading them for the plentiful food supply available here. Suddenly you start thinking about ways to profit from this. All you should need is a few bandits on your side to distract the dwarves.
((YEY, you didn't roll a [1] :D))
Attempt to convince the "King" to aid me in my conquest, as the kings of yore did before him.
Also check if the loon has any actual mooks.
[5] "Very good. Yes, you might be able to assist me in reclaiming my throne. Lead the way Baron Makavai, to conquest!" says the "King" quite spiritedly.
[1] You expect a crazy to have any real followers? He does have a pretty good collection of skulls going on right now however. According to him they are skulls he picked up while hunting in the wilds.

Tekrushar kept walking, thinking over the plan in his head. It had to be simple; the dog-men probably didn't have the intelligence for to plan much. I'll send the thieves in first to retrieve whatever armor and weapons they can, then we'll attack en masse. Easy enough. With their weapons on our side it shouldn't be overly difficult.
[1] Your dog-men get thirsty and stop at a near-by oasis. The snake-men slip away but your dog-men aren't going to die of thirst now, which is probably good. [5] You can just barely see the snake-man village on the horizon. If you wait until night this would probably be a lot easier, or you can just rush in now.
Eye-twitch of doom at their incomptitance. Think 'fuck it, thrice damned mortals, once I get my powers I won't even bother getting these ones sick, let them starve to death!'. Stand up and dust myself off. "Very well, I suppose I must handle it myself." Sneak out and attempt to find innocents and feed upon their souls without being seen.
[1] Their incompetence, what are you talking about? You take a step outside and run straight into the Captain of the Town Guard. [2] Your followers suddenly pretend that you were holding them captive and were going to eat their souls. Damn.
Explore the nearby trade routes for some Bandits and convince them to join me.
[3] It doesn't take too long until you find a small collection of Bandits that aren't particularly well-armed but will make fine meat-shields. [4] You tell them your plan, with a shrug they agree that they could use a large payday like that and agree to follow you, at least as long as there is money in the offering.
Tarran changed back to human form, swinging violently from one side to another. He then stabilized himself and tried to get to town.
[2] You change back into your mortal form but you are a bit exhausted now. You keep moving but don't exactly make much progress. By the elder gods you are getting hungry. ((Eating restores 1d10 health, unless it's wall meat, then it's full health. ALL HAIL WALL MEAT!))
"Since we need more weapons I am going to teach 5 of you to be blacksmiths. The rest of you will go gathrr anything that might be of use for our cause." said Hellbringer as he gathered up 5 of his men to make blacksmiths. The rest would go get supplies, weapons, armor, money, and other such useful items.
[2-1(no equipment)=1] They stare at you with vapid expressions as you try to teach them about the wonders of smithcraft. "Desu?" [5] At least the other fifteen are more competent and manage to collect some food and water, and a little bit of additional money.
((3 days worth of food and water, 5 gold coins))
Lead John to Village #3 and meet up with Claire and followers. Attempt to figure out what skills said followers have, what the village might have to offer, or any other relevant information concerning the immediate area.
[6] You and John "ride" off into the distant sunset. By the time you reach the village you see the base surrounded by the Guards and Claire and her followers waiting. "I was wondering if you were going to show up? As you can see, we're at a bit of a loss for what to do right now," [4] The followers are all vessels to be molded into what you want them to be (read: have no skills). Claire seems to be skilled at gathering followers and running an economy while, John... well he can smack things and take a lot of damage before he goes down.

Even bigger eye-twitch of doom. "Fuck it" Try to eat his soul, if that fails, pull my sword out of the cane and kill the human!
((The order has been reversed as you must actually kill a person to feast on their soul.))
[1] You pull your sword out of your cane. . . Wait, the sword is stuck. CURSES!!! [3] [1/2=.5 damage] You thwack him upside the head with your cane, but it's not nearly as effective as you would have hoped. Cursed mortals.
Keep limping back to town. Then limp again. (both actions)
[6] You finally get to the village and manage to get some food after you tell the inn-keeper how you were viciously attacked by Bandits. [5 Health Restored]
" Well now since that failed I will have all twenty of you go out, and search for more supplies, and recruits. Now go forth, adn remember the faster we take over this town the faster you get your rewards my soldiers. " said Hellbringer, and as they left he began to train by himself since training against one of his men might kill them.
[4] Well, they don't really gather any supplies or money, but they do kidnap a couple of people for you. [5] You train by yourself, you're not really sure what you are trying to learn though. Your a demon for hell's sake you know everything you need to know!
He merely sat at the edge of the oasis. He had waited a very long time for this opportunity; he wasn't going to blow it now by being hasty. "Drink as much as you desire," he said to the dog-men. "When the night falls their cold blood will cool and they will be torpid, slow to react to our attack. We'll kill them all." He smiled to himself, the corners of his mouth stretching perhaps a bit farther than a human's should, and kept his gaze on the distant town.
[auto-success] You and your dog-men wait. Sooo, know any good games to play?
Prepare the caravan ambush, look for a good spot from which to launch the ambush and then wait to spring my ingenuous trap
[3] You and your bandits grab your weapons and head over to a crossing you know the caravan will cross. [2] There are absolutely no good spots nearby that you can see though :(
"Diplomacy first. If that fails... well, bribes seldom fail completely."
Figure out who's leading the guards. Attempt to recruit them.
[6] That's easy, it's the guy with the fancy helmet. [6] A short bit of smooth talking later you know have a 10 guards who excel at breaking things. Is there any problem that charisma can't solve?

It is now Twilight, Vampires get to do special cool things now and stealth is easier. WOOHOO!
Check out the village for guards of any kind. If none are around, find an isolated person.
[4] There are ten village watchmen in the area. Since it is just turning night, about 5 are on duty.
"Ok well since you decided to take hostages I want you all to go out, and recruit more men once we have around 30 - 40 we will begin a raid on the town now go on, and round up some soldiers. " said Hellbringer. As the men left the cave he turned to the prisoners, and said "Try anything funny, and I will kill you, and devour your soul, so that you may never find peace understood?" Hellbringer then began to watch over the prisoners.
[5] (lolwhut, you expect to recruit skilled soldiers) After a bit more searching your men manage to get together another 10. As far as skilled soldiers go though, they are not. [3] They don't try anything "funny" but you're getting pretty bored of just sitting in a cave. What kind of demon sits in a cave for an entire day?
Scream in rage and pull out the sword and just start slaughtering the guard, then devour as many innocent souls as I can.
[5] [3x2=6 damage] You get your sword out of the cane finally and slash the guard into two separate pieces. [5] You eat his soul, it is so satisfying. Oh look, there's 5 more guards heading your way.
"Hide there and I Will signal you with three sharp whistles." Stand slightly out of the path and get ready to whistle when the caravan enters sight.
[5] You get into position when you see some light off in the distance. It's slowly getting closer to you. At a guess this is the dwarven caraven. [2] Apparently they're either really tired or carrying more than normal because it goes really slow. At least your men are all in position and now you can unleash your true abilities.
Declare self ruler of village. See what village can produce of value.
[1] You declare yourself the ruler of the United Soviet Socialist Republic of Village#3, but nobody pays any attention to you, not even "King" John. [1] As far as you can tell they produce blocks. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWTFG3J1CP8)
"It's time. Let's go," he said, heading towards the village. When they got near, he called for a halt and sent the thieves forward to steal everything they could.
[5] Your dog men and you silently sneak through the night and quietly surround the snake men. [4] You send 30 of your dog-men in. They easily subdue the guards and bring out the real weapons that were supposed to be traded for the slaves. (Loot role: [4]) Iron Spears and Shields with Hardened Leather Armor and Red Cloaks. Since everyone else gets low-level "magic" powers I've decide on a list of powers vampires get at night.
Blood Pool: You turn into a moving pool of blood. Immune to non-magic attacks.
Transfusion: Sucks blood from a target from a moderate range. 25% chance to kill target.
Final Seconds: Explodes target's heart. Can only be used once per night. Cannot be used on PC's or Undead.
All in addition to being Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, than in the day. (i.e. you can now lift up large boulders and other crazy stuff that the average person wouldn't be able to accomplish)
Whistle the signal and go Blood pool to get closer to the caravan without being seen before showing them my stabs
[6] You whistle the signal and you and your bandits move-out. [5] With stealth beyond the imagining of morals you turn into a pool of blood and quickly get behind the caravan. Your bandits are at the side and now you're ready to bring the 3 dwarves protecting it to their knees.
Run away
[1] You try to run but you happen to have a spear embedded in you. [6] You manage to get it out and run away very quickly however. Damn humans and their well protected lands.
Train the Undead Followers in the ways of combat, and send the bandits out to recruit more followers for the war was soon to begin.
[2] The followers all look at you as you try to teach them. "Desu?" You're pretty sure they are mentally challenged at best. [3] The bandits go get a couple more "unwilling volunteers".
Walk up to the highest ranking guard. Casually talk about bandits while secretly making it hard for him to find me suspicious at all.
[4] You find a guard, and start conversing with him. "So the bandits seem to be pretty thick in the part."
"Yeah, with a lot of our forces stationed in the marshes to keep the elves and dwarves at bay there are a lot more bandits out than normal. All the towns have built walls, and we're thinkin' about puttin' up about Palisade around the villages. Looks like you had a run-in with them, my apologies."
The plan had so far went successfully. Now that the dog-men had iron round shields, one-handed spears, leather armor, and red cloaks, it was time to initiate the second part of the plan. "Kill them all, but spare the children and the elves. Those are mine," he said, blowing a smoke ring into the air. "Attack!"
[6] Your dog men enter the village. With the weapons that were rightfully yours, the snakes have no chance. They are slaughtered and the buildings set aflame. You steal the snake-men's livestock, wagons, children, slaves, and all the money you could find as well. With all of their guards incapacitated from earlier, they don't even kill a single one of your dog-men.
(+2 Wagons, +15 elf slaves, + 10 Snake-men children, +10 camels, +50 gold coins)
Elsewhere in the desert: A man with a primal connection to nature comes from the elf lands. He sniffs the air, before suddenly taking off running. His objective, unknown.
Recruit disgruntled laborers to my cause. Travel with minions to a better village.
[6] You and your men recruit many (20) disgruntled laborers to your cause before, [2] having a demonstration in the town square. If you didn't have the Lich's attention before, you sure have it now.

Riccto will, for the next ten days or so, be controlled by me. In order to make it fair so you know what he's up to I'll be doing his next action at the end of this post and I won't be able to edit it (in case he gets into a situation where he has to interact with one of you.)
Explode a Dwarves heart, then attack a second.
Also, in case you were wondering how battles are decided between two opposing forces... I haven't worked that out yet but I'm thinking about reviving the V-Craft system from my old StarCraft Forum Game. It basically works like this, 3 rolls of 1-100 are taken for both side, average the three rolls, add in modifiers (in this case modifiers would be added for size of both sides, equipment, preparedness, experience, and any defenses set up.) The problem with that is the one side would be entirely wiped out which isn't very realistic. Any ideas for another system that might work and be more fair to everyone. (i.e. people from both sides would die)
Explode a Dwarves heart, then attack a second.
[6] The dwarves clutches his chest as his eyes begin to bulge. He falls to ground in the last spasms of life. [3] [(6/2)-1 = 2 damage] Another dwarf is quickly stabbed in his chest.
Bandit Rolls:
[4] [1-1 = 0 damage]
[3] [(4/2)-1 = 1 damage]
[4] [6-1 = 5 damage]
The dwarves are dispatched before the bandits even finish their assault. (loot roll: [4]) You rake in a moderate amount of gold and gems. ((150 gold coins, 2 dwarf prisoners (caravan drivers), 2 small crates of assorted gems))
"Yeah, they were really nasty..."
"Listen, could you kindly look into my eyes?"
Convert him to my side. As another action, ensure that if I fail he can't scream or attack me.
[1] He is in no way interested in joining you. [6] You do morph and drive him absolutely insane. So insane he just stands there drooling on himself. (Event Roll: [1]) Unfortunately another of the guards saw you and raises the alarm. One step forward, two steps back.
Look for travelers to steal souls from, away from the village
[1] It's kinda dead at night. You see a patrol of soldiers but it's pretty pointless to attack them. At least they didn't see you.
Triumphantly head to a town and inspect it. Recruit more followers if there's time.
[4] You quickly head to the town of Poison. Your followers follow behind you chanting various phrases of unrest against the Lich. [2] You inspect the town. It's pretty dark but you're fairly certain there is a town square. Maybe an inn too.
Tekrushar grinned. It had went better than he had hoped. The dog-men were indeed capable warriors. "Herd the children and elves into this building," he instructed, pointing out the only one that wasn't on fire. "I have plans for them. You are free to celebrate as you wish and divide up the other spoils on your own." Once his orders were carried out, he went inside as well and locked the door. "Well. It's just us now." He blew a smoke ring into the air, then crushed the cigarette out against his palm and tucked the remains behind his ear. "I have many things to show you. But first..."
He reverted into his true form and fell upon the elves, devouring them, chains and all, before turning his myriad eyes to the snakemen children. He focused his will upon them, attempting to break them and make this his devoted servants.
[6] You eat the elves with much gusto after dismissing your dog-men to finish the looting and pillaging of the city. Soon all that is left of the elves is a few blood stains. Most of the snake-men children are huddled in a corner by this point, trying to not make any noise less they become the object of your attention. [2] You don't enthrall people after eating, it's just not done! It's bad for digestion you know.
Train the worshippers to be bandits, and send the bandits to steal some better equipment.
[4] After much effort you believe you have finally have trained your other worshipers to be bandits. [1] Your current bandits however are feeling pretty tired so they just sit around instead of going out and hijacking any equipment.

Transfusion one of the Dwarves to keep my human appearance, Then drive the caravan to elven territory where we will be able to sell this without raising suspicion.
I've decided to go with IronyOwl's system, mostly because it was the only one offered and it made sense to me.

Oh what was that, you're not a robot? Oh, in that case you suck the blood out of one of the dwarves using your transfusion ability but he doesn't die, luckily enough for you.
[1] You and your bandits have trouble moving the wagon towards the elven town. Curse this marsh muck.
Look for more travelers while heading to a random village.
[4] You begin walking along the side of the road, looking for any sign of travelers. Eventually you find a couple of low-life Gypsies heading towards a village. Nobody would miss them.
Gather the the men leave five behind to protect the base, and head out with the other 25 to kill guards, and steal their stuff.
[3] "I don't want to raid the village, I am le tired."
"Fine take a nap, THEN KILL THE GUARDS!"
After the nap your mooks bandits finally descend upon the village to find several guards somehow passed by them and are now assaulting your cave.
((10 Guards at your cave, 10 guards confronting your bandits at the entrance to the town.))
"OH COME ON WILL NOTHING GO MY WAY?"
"You know what, how about I just fix his mind and leave you all alone? I'm having a bad day, give me a break!"
Try to fix the man's mind and then run away.
[1-2 (attempting Diplomacy in Abomination form) = -1] No, they in fact do not think that is good enough, THEY WANT YOUR BLOOD!
[4] You manage to hop on your sky rocket and run away though. The guards stopped chasing you once you passed above the cloud level. That or you are just really fast in your true form. I can't really tell.
He went ahead and tried to enthrall them anyway, manners be damned.
[3] You manage to enthrall five of the ten children, the other five seem utterly resistant to your mind-warping powers however.
Find leader of Poison, recruit to cause. Find out what town does for a living.
[4] You find the Leader of Poison, a sort of fragile looking vampire if you had to guess with no great ambition in life. His name is Baron von Bloodsuck. [5] He has heard of your cause to bring down the Lich and readily joins you. No man should rule forever!

Go to Elven Town, unload ill gotten gains.
((I didn't answer this earlier sorry, but demons gain mutations on a multiplicative scale. First one requires 2 souls, second 4 souls, third 8, so on and so forth. If you ever go two days without eating your quota of souls you get a random bad mutation, such as worse at defense or some such nonsense. Demons encourage the rampant abuse of mortals by their nature, have fun :D))
Go to Elven Town, unload ill gotten gains.
[3] You manage to get the goods to town, but only have you ditch the wagon. There's just no way to get that wagon out of the marsh. [5] You also manage to make a contact known as "El Sleazo" who will be happy to purchase the gems, slaves (dwarves), and horse for an additional 500 gold coins. Turns out the gems were all completely flawless. Talk about a rich score.
"You know what, screw this. I've had enough of doing this semi-peacefully."
Go back to town, slowly turn the brains of all the guards to insanity. Then start converting them to my side.
[1] Where did the town go again? ? ? [2] Nope, you have no clue. It couldn't be that bright light off in the distance, that just wouldn't be logical.
"Half of you go back, and protect the camp the other half stay here, and we will kill the guards then raid the town. " Hellbringer said as he drew his sword, and launched athe atack on the guards devouring the souls of all he fall in the battle.

See what Poison produces or otherwise does to justify its existence (trade hub, etc). Recruit some stalwart minions to defend Poison and bring down the lich.
[2] Pfft, who cares what this town does, it will do whatever your five-year plan dictates! [4] Your glorious comrades have recruited more people to your cause! (20 worshippers gained)

"So... you refuse to be turned?" So-zar said, his voice hideous and distorted in his true form. "If you will not be mine... then you consign yourself to madness." He focused on the five remaining, attempting to break their sanity utterly. Failing that, he was still hungry, which wasn't really a shock...
[1] These children. . . THEY RESIST YOU WITH STRENGTH UNLIKE ANY OTHER! [6] They cannot resist your innumerable jaws however and are quickly devoured.

I think Riccto is back now, but if not, See about a useful area to start a base in town. Recruit a few more followers.
See about a useful area to start a base in town. Recruit a few more followers.
[2] You don't know much about the area so nothing immediately strikes you as a good base inside of town. [4] You manage to get 5 more followers to join you. You'll need to find somewhere to house them eventually but for now, let's just be happy you have more people on your side.
Repeat my last action.
[1] You pretty sure there is no town. [3] Oh what, you meant that town over there in the distance? You just ran from them, why would you want to go back? Eventually you end your internal argument and head back, you aren't announcing yourself to anybody though. Fuck that shit.
This town now specializes in arms production for the good of the people! Twenty followers shall be trained to produce the finest equipment in the land! And if that's not two actions, find a mine for raw materials!
[3-1=2] With no equipment even you have trouble explaining how to actually become a smith to these simpletons. [4] You manage to find an unoccupied mine with [3] lots of coal. Oh, and a small bit of copper. Woo copper!
Event: The Lich deciding to have nothing more to do with your foolishness has sent one of his most well-trained subjects to deal with you once and for all. His name is Valorei and he will end you! When he finally gets to you anyhow.
Run after the second one to finish them off, if I succeed then feed upon their souls.
[1] You are too tired to run. You let them get away, you have a meal right here after all. [2] You want to eat but you realize you're in the middle of a road and drag the body off somewhere more private.
"KILL THEM THEY HAVE INTERFERD NOW THEY DIE !!!!" screams Hellbringer as he continues the attack devoruing the souls of those who die.
((I'm interpreting your actions as eat souls IF all of them die, if you want to eat as you go, just let me know.))
[6] The talented guard dodges your attack, [2] and you over estimate the distance of your reach for the second. Oh those wascally guawds.
Bandit Rolls: 2, 3(2 damage), 5(no damage), 5(10 damage), 2, 6, 4(4 damage), 2

Guard Rolls: 2, 4(3 damage)
So-zar left the building, feeling... less hungry... than before. He produced his familiar dog-end from behind his ear, still lit, and took a drag from it. Nothing like the taste of flames after a meal, he reflected, exhaling noxious vapors into the air. Unaware of the human outside of town, he gestured to the dogmen. "Loot absolutely everything of value. We'll return home when you've finished," he said, leaning on the wall to enjoy his smoke.
[2] You let your dogmen do whatever they want and go about their tasks. Unfortunately they aren't really watching the camp and you are alone behind the lone building left intact.

If you see any mistakes let me know. I got this done really quick for some reason so I probably made a mistake somewhere... maybe.
Start slowly driving the guards mad. One by one. Cautiously.
[1] Nope you refuse to drive anyone insane. The guards here are like your best friends.
Drag the body off somewhere private then eat the soul, and the corpse while I'm at it.
[5] You finally eat the corpse and soul in peace. You feel strange things happening. YEY, MUTATION! ((Select what kind of mutation you would like please. Note anything that I feel is overpowered gets toned down))
Find a better mine! And train 10 lackeys to be miners!
[6] You find an occupied Iron mine. [1] You really ought to kill/convert the miners working in the mine before you start training your own.
Tekrushar blew a smoke ring towards the sky. "It's more of a case that this had been a long time coming for the snakemen and I merely happened to come along for the ride. So, who are you?" he asked. "Kind of unusual to see a human in these parts." He watched the man, waiting for the slightest hint of violence. If it looked like he was going to try to start something, he was going to snap into his true form and attempt to break his mind. Otherwise, he didn't have much reason to fight him. It wouldn't gain him anything while he was still so weak, compared to the true strength he had enjoyed in his prime.
[5] You explain your reasoning before he says, "I see, that's all I needed to know," before rushing straight for you. [3] You barely have enough time to get into your true form to fight. Whoever this human is, he's faster than he looks.
Continue to fight
[2] Did you really train those people to be bandits, because you're really doing a shitty job of attacking these guards. [3] [(3-1)/2=1 damage] Finally you decided to put SOME effort into it, not nearly enough though.
Bandit Rolls: 5(6 damage), 6, 4(2 damage), 3(1 damage)
Guard Rolls: 5(6 damage), 6, 6, 2, 1
Back at the cave:
Bandit Rolls: 5(2 damage), 4(4 damage) ((The rest of the rolls weren't required so not rolled.))
You hear a shout from your cave, it sounds like your men beat the guards up there finally.
Question my new elven compatriots about information about the nearby town and skills they possess and future prospects for recruitment
[5] Your new elven compatriots have no skills beyond being semi-competent at punching things, the bandits are can fight well, at least when they have the advantage. The town is called Tree Town... nobody said elves were good at naming their cities. The future prospects for recruitment are good, the elves here hate the dwarves with a fiery tree-loving passion that none really understand. As long as you hurt the dwarves they will be happy enough to host you in town.

Continue traveling, look for a new village
[4] You make your way along the road and find a town Chateau. [4] You realize this town is well guarded and you are in no position to even enter by any means.
Claim the iron mine and all within it for the people! Also try to learn combat skills from John.
[5] You capture all the miners working there and they are quickly persuaded that you are their new master. [auto-fail] You in fact already know how to fight. Thus there is nothing for John to teach you.
((+15 Miners))
Pick up a flower and try to apologize to my guard friends while in human form.
[2] FUCK THAT SHIT!!! You break one of their minds and subjugate him to your will. YOU WILL BE FEARED, NOT LOVED!!! [1] Your other guard friends don't even notice you are back. Those jerks!
((Don't expect me to be nice all the time with those backwards actions, I just felt bad about your luck.))
The Screaming One grinned with its many fanged mouths. This human was interesting! It would bite and gnash and rend his flesh, and after the pleasure of wallowing in his suffering, it would turn him into a loyal servant. But first, it had to wear him down physically before it could wear him down mentally, and it whipped out with several of its tongues to slam the shaman into the dirt.
[3] [2/2 = 1 damage] Your first attack is so ineffective you might have been better off trying to tickle him with your tongue. Was that what you were trying to do? [4] [4 damage] Thankfully you actually manage to strike him with your tongue the second time around. It looks like his rage is only raising.
Have one of the men with me go gather the others, adn press the attack make sure not to hurt civies
[5] You send one of your men to gather the other bandits, they make it back to you in time for this battle. [4] [1-1=0 damage] You attack one of the guards, but his armor completely absorbs your limp-wristed blow.
Bandit Rolls: 2, 4(2 damage), 3(2 damage), 3(no damage), 3(1 damage), 6, 3(2 damage), 2, 6, 5(8 damage), 4(no damage), 1, 3(2 damage), 4(2 damage), 4(5 damage), no other rolls required
Guard Rolls: None
You finally rout all the remaining guards, your forces are battered and bloodied, but victorious.
Use anti-dwarf Rhetoric to recruit elves!
[5] You double your number with your persuasive anti-dwarven rhetoric.

Any mistakes, let me know.
Order miners to mine while I construct forges and tools in town. Train 15 smiths (or one master one, if I can do that) if I get the chance.
[6] Your miners have mined too deep. . . they are coming. Just kidding! They got back a normal amount of iron.
[3] You manage to get a single forge from town, but you'll need more if you ever want to utilize fifteen smiths.
[2] Desu?
"damn it all to hell" Look for another village, and souls to eat along the way
[2] You start traveling, but really you don't make any progress and find nothing on the way either.
Take over all the guards' minds.
Failing that, make them insane.
Failing that, cry.
[6] One by one you take over all the guard's minds. Finally they are yours!!!
So-zar drug the shaman in closer, to slash him with his fangs before slamming him to the ground with extreme force.
[4] [4 damage] You manage to chew on the Shaman a little bit. Now time to finish him off. [1] [5 damage(to yourself)] When you try to slam him on the ground however he breaks through your tongue spraying you with your own blood. "Our rage cannot be contained."
Loot the armour, and weaposn foo the guards for my guys, devour any souls left on the battlefied (Enemy not ally), adn then perform a small raid on the town gathering all the money, and gear we can before fleeing the area.
[2] Most of the armor and weapons are complete trash, not even worth taking. Apparently it couldn't stand up to battle against your bandits anyhow so who wants it? [1] So, where did those souls go anyhow??? Oh, you mean they are ghosts now, that's just great!
Look for a suitable base of operations[/b]
[3] You find a hollowed out tree that, for a tree was huge, but for a base is pretty small. It's a start though you suppose.

Flle the town head for another village with my men.
[6] You can see the writing on the wall and you get out of there while you still can. Thankfully the ghosts don't follow you.
Tekrushar bit off what remained in his mouth after the shaman was finished with his tongue and swallowed it. Another would grow back in that mouth eventually, and there was no need to waste good meat. For now another lashed out at the shaman's side, to knock him to the ground, while the rest pushed against the dirt to heave his bulk into the air so he could drop onto the shaman, to injure him further under his weight.
[4] [4 damage] With a quick lash you knock the Shaman on the ground and prepare to jump on him. [6] The shaman also can see your obvious preparations however and is back on his feet in seconds and out of your range, for the moment.
Village get.
Armed Minions get.
[5] vs. [6] You declare yourself leader of the town and that lasts for a little while, until everybody not enslaved in the town responds as follows.

Even now they are lighting the torches and getting their swords. Oh and sending off runners get the knights here.
Recruit someone important (Mayor, Offical, Merchant Something like that)
[4] You find yourself a handy underworld assassin type to recruit.
[3] Unfortunately he want's to be paid to join you, 100 coins, up front.
Put Claire in charge of the town, and mines if possible.
Build more forges. Train master smith. Don't Desu it up.
[2] NO FORGES FOR YOU! [1] NO SMITH FOR YOU!
Background Roll: [2] Claire finds the mine is a paperwork nightmare and spends so much time trying to clean up the mess she gets no useful administration done.
((You don't own the town quite yet, you're going to have to fight for it... right about next turn.))

This is heavily influenced by Paranoia, but with enough originality I think it passes for not being blatantly copied from.
I still haven't worked out an appropriate title for it, but oh well.
It is the year 2225. Humanity prospers throughout the galaxy for the most part. You are not most however, you are forgotten, locked away on Frontier Station 265. In this backwater corner of the galaxy, humanity languishes under the control of the all-knowing A.I. known as Marrisa. Marrisa seeks to control humans for "their own benefit" and safeguard the rest of humanity from "invaders". To this end Marissa has begun cloning "perfect" humans to be employed as her secret police. Outfitted in experimental arms and armor, they enforce her will throughout the station. How long can this last though, a rebellion is growing, and nobodies motives are as they seem.
The Communists: They seek to overthrow Marissa and bring about Groucho Marx-style communism.
The Techies: This faction worships technology, and believes everything Marissa says is law.
The Templars: An ancient faction existing since the Knights Templar of Medieval-times. What they ask you to do is always strange, but no doubt important.
The Ludds: These people want to abolish technology and go back to living as their ancient fore-fathers did. How they plan on doing this in the middle of space is beyond most peoples understanding, but they have a plan.
The Resistance: These are free-marketers distraught with the level of control Marissa exercises over station. Subtlety is not their strong suit, but they are beginning to learn.
The Militarists: This self-proclaimed military wishes to claim control of the station as a base and then conquer the rest of the galaxy. They have nothing to live for but war and fighting.
There are no rules, only goals!
((Really though, only basic rule is to not go insane. All other information is classified and any knowledge of other information will be punished, severely.))
Name:
Gender:
Sub-faction:
All other stats will be decided by Marissa, the creator of your life!
So, who's interested?
I knew someone was going to ask sometime.
It's moving slowly. I spent 3 days doing absolutely nothing, not working on it some time ago. But I'm working on it again.
Story and setting=Pretty much complete.
Rules=Pretty much complete.
Combat system=Pretty much complete, doubtful on effectiveness.
Non-combat rolling system=Basic, but should work.
Attribute system=Pretty much complete, doubtful on if they're balanced or not against both themselves and skills. <Recent progress here.
Skill system=Pretty much complete, effectiveness unknown. <Recent progress here.
List of shooty guns and armor and shields=Partially complete. You can live without weapons (since you won't start with any). But the selection of armor I've got out (which you start with) is kinda small. Same with shields. <Recent progress here.
List of vehicles=Partially complete, you can live without this for a while. <Recent progress here.
Special Actions (taking cover, suppressing fire...)=The most obvious ones are done, but there's still only 3. But you can live without these, as I can just add them as I go.
Alpha backgrounds (what part of the military you are from)=Pretty much complete, unsure about balancing. <Recent progress here.
Character sheets=Pretty much complete.
Overall: I really could start it right now. But... I'm uncertain if it really should start. I'm indecisive. If people really are getting impatient, I could start.
