Welcome to ghost town.

In this game you play as a young man of average strength and agility!
You have arrived at a remote place being promised some beautiful babes, yet you find yourself deceived. Securing food and lodgings is a priority as dying of starvation, exhaustion and cold is very likely. This is a perilous world, descriptions are fuzzy and the gaem master is evil.
You better don't waste time.

THE RULES

INTRO
It's 2:00 pm. You wake up on a dirt road. You are wearing a simple military uniform but lack any body protection and on top of it all you're unarmed!
There is three shacks far spaced along the trail.

No need for names or anything. Just type your action!

You move towards Shack(1). It is a small structure and has no door.
On the interior you find a chest with two drawers; the upper drawer is locked. You see on the wall a run-down cabinet containing two unlabeled jars.


Forage for food.
area not specified. setting 'closest surroundings' as default
your uniform is olive green.
You get off the road and take your time looking for edible stuff. There's no bushes or fruit trees nearby, only dust, grass and granite rocks. You see a man following the trail and setting foot into a shack a good way northwards.

One is heavier than the other. You open the lighter one and find it half-filled with fresh water, excellent.
After closing the first one you do the same with the heavier one. It is filled to the brim with honey!

The smell of honey has attracted the local lifeforms.

Walk to the closest shack and make contact with the man I saw.
You start jogging towards Shack(1) fearing you may not get to him in time. Slowing down once you get close enough you notice there's no door. You peek inside and spy a young man in blue uniform, he's turning his back to you and doesn't seem to have noticed you. He is holding something... a weapon perhaps?
(If you choose to talk you can do it out of turn or initiative. I'll only intervene if there's combat or any significant action)

the color of your uniform is mustard
You run towards Shack(2) catching a glimpse of a man in a green uniform.
You inspect the small structure. It lacks a door and gives the impression of emptiness apart from a coffee table in the middle of the room and a chair. There is a jar on the table which label reads 'coffee beans' and a warm glass of water. Resting on the chair you find a keychain holding two keys.

You dash at full speed towards Shack(3). Tailing a man in a mustard uniform and eventually running past him. You arrive at the porch of Shack(3) but you are tired. It is a two story building and looks nicer than the other shacks.
cancel investigation. must catch breath
Your throat is dry.

You hold the items (carefully as to not spill the water). Crouching alongside the chair you inspect the keys. One is larger than the other and both have text inscribed. The larger one reads 'Manor' while the smaller one reads 'pul'. The keychain is a figurine of a goblin creature with big eyes and sharp claws. You deem it disturbing.

Calmly walk toward Shack 3
hazardous action! your uniform is olive green with a 'II' stitched on the shoulder.
You calmly walk up the road whistling while wasting precious time. So much in fact that by the time you pass by a man with an identical uniform as yours it's 6 pm and you're hungry. Shack(3) is visible at a distance.

Welcome goodbye the afternoon. XDDD
Navy Blue is hungry
'Jack' is hungry
Mustard is hungry and his throat is dry
Terracotta is hungry and thirsty!

Search the drawer that opens
You search the open drawer and find a fluffy wool scarf, excellent. The drawer also contains some trash: a pink wristband, a purple crayon and a bunch of scribbles. One seems particularly interesting though.

The drawer cracks open and the force pulls it to your lap. There is a small electronic device inside. It flashes a led light at your face for a few seconds and the screen lights up. It reads 'New User registered'.

Take keys, and consume some coffee beans and drink the water
You store the keychain in your pocket and open the jar labeled 'coffee beans' to grab a handful
there is an item buried inside!!! A sphere of a material not familiar to you. It has some kind of tiny pressure plate on it.
You stick the coffee beans in your mouth and wash them down with the warm water Your throat is no longer dry!
Your sleepy status will be delayed at night.

Check the horizons. Are there any structures or landmarks other than the 3 shacks?
Turning your head you find a young man with a similar uniform as you walking by. wtf?
You check the horizon and see some woods waaaaaaay up north the road.

A gray ring surrounding the plate blinks twice before going back to normal. The sphere seems to be in good condition and working properly, whatever the hell it's supposed to do.

Grab that electronic device and see what it is, then grab the map and the crayon.
You hold the device in your hand for further inspection but the screen turns up once again. It reads 'Let's Twist Again'.
Suddenly, you hear a man talking rhythmically in your head accompanied by some drums. Backing chorus and other instruments eventually join in. The catchy song continues like this for 2 minutes. You feel amused and gain a short constitution bonus.

Your hungry status is disabled until next morning.
You store the crayon and the neatly folded scribble in your pocket.

Alrighty pick up the pace a little and get to that shack (You are an evil man xof)
You jog the rest of the way and arrive at the porch of a two story building that unlike the rest of the shacks has a door.
On the way there you recognized a low garden fence in the backyard.

You walk around the house and find a set of pillaged garden beds enclosed by a busted garden fence. The wildlife thieves have visited the crime scene multiple times since and there's several traces on the loose dirt. Most crops are gone but you see two weathered radishes. One is half eaten and the other has been nibbled on.
You slip on the soil trying to get closer and your eye catches a fruit somewhat hidden and half buried. A spotted watermelon. It is round, beautiful and without a scratch.


Move to shack #3
You store the sphere back in the jar and run off towards Shack(3). Jar in arms.
Shack(3) is a nice two story building yadda-yadda.
Climbing the steps of the porch you face a door. How quaint!
Said door is locked. There is a keyhole on it.

"What a strange thing."
Look around the outside of the shack for stuff that could make the inside a better place to sleep.
You walk out of your shack. The outside is barren so you head to the only place worth a look: Shack(2).
There is no door just like in Shack(1) and you see a coffee table with an empty glass on top and a chair. Someones been here and left in a bit of a hurry.
Frustrated at the lack of anything you pace around the shack a bit. You hear a hollow sound when walking by a corner!!!
There is a trap door on the floor. It is locked and you see a tiny keyhole on it. lol


After Navy Blue has finished his action, try to barricade the door for the night using the cabinet.
You try your best to perform this action. Unfortunately, there is no such door and the small cabinet appears to be mounted on the wall.

it was not a bad idea. you most likely can come up with something else.
there is no hurry.

Two more turns until dark.

You dig your fingernails at the seams and tug with force. It has no effect as the trap door stays tightly shut.
Turning your attention to the furniture, you place the glass on the seat of the chair and lift it up. You balance the stuff back to Shack(1)

Search the area for something I can use to effectively block the entryway. Use the table and chair if Navy Blue brings them to the first shack.
Undeterred, you walk outside looking for something to block the entryway.
Before long, Navy Blue comes back holding a chair with a glass 'sitting' on it. You make your way to Shack(2) and start dragging the coffee table outside. Once outdoors, you crouch and raise the coffee table over your head, bringing it to your shack.

Your throat is dry.

One more turn until dark.

After setting the empty glass on the floor you flip the table sideways on the entryway and awkwardly place the chair over it, successfully blocking part of the opening. However, the obstruction is flimsy.

The door unlocks.
You enter the shack and find a set of stairs going up right in front of you. To the right there's a kitchen equipped with a stove, a base cabinet next to it and a china cabinet. There is a fancy black notebook resting on top of the base cabinet. Opposite to the kitchen you find a small room with two arm chairs. On the wall of the aforementioned room you see this mounted on the wall:

It's the size of a two door cabinet and appears to be made out of metal.

Eat the melon, pocket the nibbled on radish then head inside before darkness consumes the area.
You drop the half eaten radish, pocket the other one and pick up the spotted watermelon. It looks very good when you wipe the dirt off. Sweet!
In no time, half the watermelon is gone and you are no longer hungry.
Feeling refreshed and with half a melon in your hands you turn around back to the front and start climbing up the porch stairs humming all the way.


Investigate shack 3
You approach the building, eager to investigate the mysterious Shack(3). Immediately, a man with a green uniform appears from around the corner and heads for the door. He is hauling half a fricking watermelon in his arms.
You are hungry and longing for a drink!!!
His shirt is dripping watermelon juice.
Your fists clench involuntarily.
He is humming at close range and doesn't seem to have taken notice of your existence.
You gain a hunger combat bonus. Your next 2 hits will deal more damage.

Move that cabinet with drawers and see if there is something behind it, then add it to the barricade.
Your concern regarding your companion's wellbeing distracted you. The chest has the drawers, the cabinet doesn't.
You try to move the cabinet but it is mounted on the wall. At any rate, you find another scrap of paper.

You fill yourself a nice glass of water instead. Your throat is no longer dry!
(3) glasses of water left in the jar.
Afterwards you grab the chest and add it to the barricade. Not much of an improvement, sadly.

grab notebook and look inside it
The fancy notebook has a recipe written on it and some useful notes. The handwriting is impeccable and considering the notes it looks like somebody was learning housewifery.
You memorized the recipe!
Tomato Ribbon Soup.

On the base cabinet you find several packs of Ribbon Pasta and a steel pot.

Head inside satisfied and confident that nothing will go wrong for me in the next... lets say 10-15 seconds.
You enter the shack and nothing goes wrong. You see a set of stairs going up. To the right you see a kitchen with a stove, a base cabinet, a china cabinet and a clean shaven young man in mustard uniform. He is distracted examining the contents of a cabinet and is not aware of your presence. wink wink.
You also have the feeling of somebody walking into the house behind you, but it's probably just your imagination.


Investigate shack 3 (x2)
Shack(3) is a two story building way nicer than the other two shacks. It has a porch and some kind of low fence on the backyard.
You follow a man in green uniform with a 'II' stitched on his shoulder inside the premises. On your way in you spot some mushrooms growing on the front wall. They look edible. Once inside you see a set of stairs going up and two rooms. The man in green walks to the right.
What do you do?


Welcome the cold night. Find shelter and go to sleep.
Navy Blue is sleepy (hungry status disabled till morning)
'Jack' is sleepy and hungry
Mustard is hungry (sleepy status delayed)
Green II is sleepy
Terracota is sleepy, hungry and thirsty!!!

Check the china cabinet
Inside the china cabinet there is four tea cups, some fancy looking plates, a cookie jar with low relief decoration and 2 glass bottles of cooking oil. One is half empty, though.
You gently hold the cookie jar and examine it. It is luxurious but empty!
The relief portrays a scene of agriculture. Military men digging on the dirt holding gardening hoes. There are two cute cows grazing on the other side. It has good amount of detail.


Sleep.
You lay down on the hard shack floor to sleep.
sleep canceled.
You are very cold.
Annoyed you sit up and hear a scream far away. Probably just the wind playing tricks on sleepy men.

Sneak up on mustard uniform then spook him and assuming my head doesn't end up being caved in from this prank head upstairs and find somewhere to sleep.
You approach Mustard silent as the night and screech to the top of your lungs, hitting his scruff with watermelon seeds. He flinches and drops some piece of pottery that shatters on the ground. He looks at you in contempt and you chuckle at his face.
You head upstairs nonchalantly, melon still in hands, where there's two rooms. You enter the one on the right and find a small bed with a single sized mattress, a wardrobe and a nightstand with a journal on top. There is also a mini-statue of a bearded man in the corner, the top of his head is shaved and he is wearing a habit.

You skim through the journal and find mostly schedules and light update notes. The handwriting is impeccable.
The owner is a young girl who used to reside with his mother in this very shack. She was very faithful to some religion and she was often worried about the consequences of her mother's behavior. You also find an update that reveals some kind of water reservoir in the area but the location is not revealed nor any info on the vanishing of the population. Oddly enough there are mentions of various fantastical creatures throughout.
After pushing the cute nightstand all the way to the door, you lay down on the bed and tuck up your half eaten watermelon beside you. Your feet dangle off the bed but the warm blankets help you fall asleep.

Curl up in a ball for warmth and try to get some sleep.

With your arms around yourself and making use of your own breath for warmth you manage to fall asleep for 3 hours but a gust of cold wind on your back wakes you up.
if only there was some ignored wool scarf inside a chest that you could put on...

Suddenly, You see something crawling in from above the entryway. It's walking on the ceiling like a bug but it's waaay bigger than a fly.

You follow the watermelon droplets to a bedroom upstairs. Thrilled to return the favor you accidentally knock over a small but noisy nightstand on the other side of the door, thwarting your own effort.
Keep sleeping
You have slept for 3 hours when some crashing noises wake you up. Refusing to go trough the effort of opening your eyes you just shrug it off and prepare to go back to sleep. A man in mustard uniform violently shakes your shoulders and screams at you.

Green II is sleepy.

Grab the chair from the barricade and be prepared to hit that weird thing if it turns out to be hostile.

You run past just beneath the creature on the way to the barricade. The realization causes you to recoil and you fail to grab the chair. Luckily, the thing doesn't pounces on you.

Shatter the glass and take a long shard with a sharp edge. Stab the creature if it attacks.

You smash the tip of the glass and it turns indented. Holding it by the bottom you are able to wield it without cutting you hand.
A creature drops from the ceiling right on the center of the shack.
The both of you see a sandy-yellow dog with an elongated and twisted body. His front and rear legs are extended and covered on sticky tar. There is a serrated red proboscis poking in and out of his mouth.

The creature is sniffing around.

I stare at him tired and very annoyed "Lieutenant I outrank you." I point to the II stitched onto my uniform "Now get out of my room put the dresser back AND LET ME GO TO SLEEP!"

I then attempt to go back to sleep if he continues to bother me ill make him regret it

Poke the weird dog with my chair, if this gets a hostile reaction hit it with the chair as hard as I can.
Now that the creature is no longer on the ceiling you successfully grab the chair. You poke at the creature but it doesn't react. You poke with a bit more strength and the creature calmly steps a bit away. It seems to be distracted by the heavy jar.

Watch the creature carefully and be ready to fight.

I stare at him tired and very annoyed "Lieutenant I outrank you." I point to the II stitched onto my uniform "Now get out of my room put the dresser back AND LET ME GO TO SLEEP!"

Without further ado you head to the room opposite to the one where the Captain is sleeping and, inside, you find a bed with a queen sized mattress, a big wardrobe, a nightstand similar to the one you just knocked over earlier and a beautiful, embroidered cloth on the wall. The small tapestry portrays a scene of scantily clad babes dancing in a circle

You open the wardrobe and find a lot of lady clothes that won't fit you. However, you are able to collect a blue knit hat and a fur overcoat that you can wear!
There are also 2 photos taped on the inner wall. On the first one a young woman, wearing the knit hat, proudly presents her newborn baby to the camera. On the second one you see a mature woman celebrating a birthday on this very room. A little girl is smiling while reaching for some cake. The woman is laying on the bed and looks irritated.
You lay down on the spacious bed. You don't feel very tired but the warm blankets ease you to sleep. As you close your eyes you notice there is a mirror on the ceiling.

In your dream you are torching a sand fortification. The enemy comes out in flames and the walls of the bunker slowly turns into glass. You are laughing. The blurry image of a black sheep nods at you from the other side of the glass wall. zzz

Grab the weird dog and drop it over the barricade.
You gently pick up the creature but it scurries away! You try again, this time clutching at the skin on its neck with your right hand. The dog whines and contorts but you grab its leg with your left hand and chuck it over the barricade. The dog lands outside of Shack(1).

The creature is thrown out without incident. You take a look outside and locate it at a distance. The creature looks back at you for a moment, wagging its tail, before walking away into the night.

You wake up and see the bed covered on little black ants. Feeling refreshed, you eat the melon swallowing any unfortunate bugs standing there. You are no longer hungry! The remaining ants look at you jealous and defeated as you stuff the last slice of watermelon on your mouth. Yum!

Wake up and check the kitchen for any working sinks, if not then check out the metal cabinet
You go down stairs hoping to find a working sink on the kitchen. There is no such, It would seem the people here acquired their water from some other place. Before you can make your way to the opposite room, and check the strange metal cabinet, something yanks at your leg. You turn around and find an irritated pink goblin. He points at you and then at the broken pieces of the cookie jar and shakes his head. His claws are sharp!

Have some honey, as long as Navy Blue doesn't object.
Eat some of the honey and offer some to Jack.
The both of you consume some honey. Your bellies don't feel filled at all but your spirits feel mysteriously better.

You carefully check the floor for any hidden trap door like the one in Shack(2). But you find nothing.

Search the area around the two closest shacks for anything edible.
You get out of your shack very tired and scout the area, completely oblivious of how barren this place is, looking for something edible. You approach Shack(2) and find a small cooking mallet on the other side, it doesn't look very tasty. As chance would have it after kicking the dirt in frustration you find 2 dry figs. They are, of course, covered on dirt.

Now im well rested and fed take some time to examine the statue thing then start properly reading the journal.
You crouch close to the porcelain statuette and see the depiction of a bearded man with a funny haircut. He looks humble and the painting work on the piece is average. The base scripture reads 'St. Francis'.
You sit down on the small bed and decide to read the whole journal. You have to slowly make out most of the narrative from the schedules and notes therein:

The daily chores of the journal's owner revolved around learning to take care of the house, praying to her deity at night and bringing water from some sort of deposit located northward from here.
Eventually, she mentions not being able to go alone since the arrival of some dangerous monsters of alien origin. These creatures turned this basic task so hazardous that she had to escort and be escorted by her adult neighbor. On later notes she also mentions bringing a goblin creature along and both of them working at a basement wine-presser.
As time goes by she gets distressed by some disastrous event. The local fauna (and at some point the flora) undergo a complete take over from the foreign monsters. She painfully registers her surrounding ecosystem get driven to eradication. The handwriting is impeccable! : D
Near the end she appears to be desperate to save the two last native lifeforms. The small black ants and some wild dog.
Although scared at first, she secretly meets with the dog to try to keep it well fed and smuggles some ants into her own quarters.
Her mother was not okay with this.

You notice the goblin is covered in some sort of old wine stain. He looks at you reticently until you ask him for something to eat. At that moment he smiles very broadly, revealing many sharp teeth and beckons you over the opposite room. There, he points to the metal cabinet after jumping over it.
When you grab the under-handle a led light flashes on your hand for a few seconds and digital text appears on the metal surface. It reads 'Human Hand detected'. You pull it open and a cold cloud embraces your face. Inside this freezer you find a plastic pitcher filled with lemonade, 3 tomato juice cartons and a plastic container with some big red berries inside, excellent. The goblin snatches a berry and cheerfully consumes it. He sits down satisfied and lets out a weird jingling cry.


Search the third shack for anything useful.
You limp your way over to Shack(3) and find a mushroom resting on the porch. After plucking one of its caps the mushroom looks up at you with dot-like eyes. He doesn't seem to mind and after waving a tiny root at you and he takes off. The door of Shack(3) is wide open and it looks like there is people inside.

You are able to eat four big berries before you start to get a strange acid sensation in your stomach. You are no longer very hungry. Even though you're still hungry this'll have to do.
"Thanks li'l goblin guy, say you know any water we can collect around here?"
The goblin looks over to the freezer then to the floor and thinks it over for a few seconds then he walks off and returns holding a wooden bucket. He hands it to you and points towards the entrance door.

"Hmm." Head out and try to find that water source should be somewhere north according to the journal
You head downstairs stepping on some of ants on the way out. Mustard seems distracted with something on one of the lower floor rooms. You get out the shack and follow the dirt road northward for a while until you start to get surrounded by trees.

You continue heading north and enter the woods, the dirt road starts to fade into grass. You almost trip on a man's corpse. He is wearing a field cap and a big backpack. His uniform is Navy Blue.

Go out the door
"Which direction little goblin buddy?"
The goblin follows you out and points to the north. A bit ahead you see two guys walking in that general direction. The goblin walks back to the entryway and waves you goodbye.

Eat the fig then head north towards the well.
You eat the fig and don't feel satisfied but at least you won't starve. You leave every item behind except for what you got in your pockets and follow your companion. You are tired and your speed diminished.

You put on the corpse's cap. Inside the backpack you find two thin tin boxes, a bedroll, a sturdy flashlight and a metal water bottle, excellent.
The corpse is rigid and his arms are stuck covering his face. It takes some pulling and kicking but you are eventually able to free the backpack from him and put it on. After searching his pockets you find an old chocolate bar. It is still sealed.


Keep heading towards the north into the forest.
Follow Navy Blue into the forest.
The both of you enter the woods and see two men on the distance. One is laying on the ground and the other one is patting the other guy's pockets. Further ahead you see a low tree. There is some fruit hanging down!

Follow those people ahead of me
You follow the men into the woods at a distance, carrying your wooden bucket. One is wearing an Olive Green uniform and the other one a Navy Blue uniform. They both look tired and are walking slowly. You feel observed.

The added weight of your new backpack affects your speed a little. Nevertheless, satisfied with your spoils, you ease your walk into a swagger strut. You bestow each passing men with a most captivating grin. They don't seem to care. Some more steps ahead you walk by Mustard and give him a bit of the same.
Later, when you are about to leave the woods you feel a sharp sting in your shins and fall on your face. A tiny lizard creature has whipped at your legs. Crack!

You ignore the man passing by and focus on the fruit, walking over the despoiled corpse. When you are close enough you notice some ripe berries that already fell for the picking. As you crouch down, a familiar honey dog pops its head up below your hand and prods the berry you were about to pick up away! It barks twice, adopting a playful position.

'Captain' approaches you sporting a new blue cap and big backpack. He grins at you and walks away looking satisfied. After hearing a cracking noise behind, you rush and close the distance with the men you were following. In front of them, you see a low fruit tree and a messed up yellow dog. Its body is twisted and its elongated legs are covered in black tar.

Who the @%^& locked the door?!?! Whatever surely there's some type of window or side door I can go through instead right? If not just bust down the door and head inside It can't be that solid.
You check the kitchen window on the right side of the house. It appears to be locked. There is a goblin creature looking at you from the other side of the glass. He is holding a broken piece of porcelain and pointing at you. His claws look sharp.
You walk back to the porch and attempt to bust down the only shack with a door.

You kick it right on the knob and the door almost cracks in half. You hear a jingling cry!

The three of you arrive at a wired fence. The swing gate is open. You head in and the honey dog stops following. It sniffs around the entrance for a moment before running away.
Inside, there is a small one story building and a water tank attached to a weird metal waterwheel. You see a lever on the side.


Welcome the cold night. Find shelter and go to sleep.
Fail to sleep for (3) nights in a row and you'll die from exhaustion.

Navy Blue is tired(1) and sleepy.
'Jack' is tired(1), sleepy and very hungry.
Mustard is sleepy.
'Captain' is sleepy and his throat is dry.
Terracotta starved to death!
Brown is tired(1), sleepy and his throat is dry.

You ask a solid question but ignore it yourself. You waste the night scavenging for trash around the small concrete building. The lack of light turns the search challenging. Resolving to carry on the search inside the building you walk to the door. There is something painted on it but you can't quite make it out. Navy Blue moves closer when you open the door.

Find a place to put the water bucket to receive water, flick the lever.
Make sure to check the water, if it's coming out is safe for human consumption.
Also, offer coffee beans to whoever wants it

The lack of light turns the search challenging but, eventually, you find a pouring faucet on one side of the big water tank and you place the wooden bucket under it. Nothing comes out. You retrace your steps back to the metal waterwheel and pull the lever close by. The floor lights up and a grey digital bar appears alongside some text. It reads 'filling tank'. The waterwheel emits loud mechanical noises and starts to turn slowly. There is a tiny fairy creature hanging from one of the paddles. You hear a desperate jingling cry.

"Try to stop me and you'll regret it buddy!" Screw it too committed at this point finish breaking in and head upstairs to the room I slept in last night
The door is now broken. You walk in displaying your authority towards the 'civilian' resident. There is an angry 'hobgoblin' looming menacingly on the stair steps.

You remove the heavy backpack from your shoulders and place it on the floor. After adjusting your cap by the brim you proceed to adopt a fighting stance. The goblin runs up at an incredible speed and slashes you hard on the shin. ouch!

Search the building for anything useful and see how much honey I have left if any.
You check the big jar. It is still almost full of honey. After putting the lid back on you follow 'Jack' as he opens the building door.

The both of you can't see very well due to the darkness but you identify a table with a chair on the distance. There is some kind of big headed doll sitting on it. Closer to you, illuminated by the light from the open door, you see a funky looking gun.
The doll's head turns towards 'Jack'.

You run inside the building. The gun starts to levitate and turns in your direction. You haven't even made it to the table when you hear a 'psst' sound and half a second later you feel an agonizing pain in your hip. You've been hit!

Quickly pick up the little fairy creature hanging off the paddles
You jump and yank the fairy very swiftly. The creature in your arm is odd looking with thin arms and bell-bottom like legs. It appears to lack eyes and there is one thin red horn coming out of the forehead and another one coming out of the back of her head. You do distinguish a tiny mouth, smiling at you.

Rush forward and grab the gun before it can fire at any of us.

You run inside the building and clasp the gun from the side with both arms. There is a paranormal force keeping the gun in place. Your lower body dangle as you hold on the floating gun. The gun fires a shot at 'Jack' without any detonation sound or recoil. It hits him on the hip, leaving behind a splatter of fluorescent light.

You shake the gun around but fail to seize it. There is a small metal tank fixed to the stock. The gun silently fires two shots in succession during your pulling but nobody gets hit.

With great tenacity you momentarily ignore your injury and advance all the way towards the doll, grabbing both of its arms and trying to rip them off. What at first appeared to be a flimsy 'doll' turns out to be a resilient creature. The creature's big eyes brightly glow in surprise as you put more force on yanking its arms off. ow, ow, OWW!
You hear a jingling cry. Your peripheral vision begins to warp and a haunting darkness surrounds you. uh oh.

You place the fairy in your head. She looks at the big waterwheel as it spins increasingly faster and louder. You walk back towards the bucket an find it overspilled. Noticing how the big tank can't fill up with the faucet open you quickly close it. The wooden bucket is filled to the brim with fresh water.

You perform a quick jab at the 'doll', hitting it in the stomach with your closed fist. The creature shoots a dark ball from its mouth and the darkness dissipates. The dark ball misses you completely. That jab must have had something to do with it, lucky!

The noise of waterwheel would prevent you from becoming aware of any commotion even if you wanted to. At the moment you are busy drinking an entire bucket of water even though you are not thirsty or your throat dry. After the fact, you feel too full and fall to the ground, the fairy climbs down your head and looks at you disconcerted. You crawl toward the tank and open the faucet for a bucket refill. The fairy's mouth turns into a big smile, lol.

Pull the tank off the back of the gun and try again to get a hold of it.

The creature nods and agrees to stop the fighting but it doesn't answer your question, pointing at the door instead. You turn around and notice a haunted darkness dissipate to reveal Navy Blue on the ground. He is holding the gun. An invisible creature barely seeable by some paint is looming over him. Your hip hurts a whole lot.

Rest, maybe drinking this much water was a bad idea.
Check if I can carry the bucket of water without much difficultly

You sit down to rest and the fairy sits next to you, still smiling. You feel very sleepy. The fairy yawns. You are pretty sure you'll be able to carry the bucket.

Choke em out!
You begin to strangle the goblin creature but his neck is stocky and not quite as squishy as a humans. uh oh!
He promptly slashes at your arms but you pull back and avoid any damage.

The invisible creature tries to attack you but he is deterred by your companion shooting at it. Running is painful and you are tired but you make it to the wired fence. A floating doll is waiting for you on the other side. She drops a thin tin box and shakes her head before floating away.

"You're the injured one you should withdraw while I slow it down."
Start shooting the creature in it's face.

You aim at the floating paint and pull the trigger all the way. Only one projectile comes out as the gun happens to be semi-automatic. Your shot hits the invisible creature in the face and more fluorescent paint splatters the former, revealing a couple of horn like protuberances on the top of its head. A haunting darkness surrounds you.

You pick up the bucket filled with water and begin walking back to Shack(3). The tiny fairy follows you at a short distance. Walking by the wired fence of the well you see the man from before in an olive green uniform looking at the floor. He seems injured.

You see the image of a man laying down painted on the door. The painting is very poorly executed.

You grab the hobgoblin's head with both hands and jam your thumbs on his eyes. PLINK! Your fingernails slip over the creature's big eyes as if they were made out of glass. The enraged hobgoblin slides under you like a shadow. You look around trying to locate him. The broken door makes a noise.

Open the tin box and look inside. If there's food inside, eat it.
Inside the tin box you find crackers, a doughnut and some cheese wrapped in plastic. The crackers aren't salty. You munch some crackers and stick an entire cheese slice in your mouth. You are no longer starving!

Oh well, walk back to that olive green man and offer some water
You offer the man some of your fresh water. A fairy close by smiles at the scene. The man in olive green is busy eating something out of a box and doesn't appear to be interested so you turn back and hit the road. You walk past the fruit tree and see the weird honeydog from before lying on the ground. Later on, as you are about to leave the woods a lizard creature stands in your way. the look on its face is not a friendly one.

The room does not accommodate any heavy furniture. The best you can do is stack the mini statue over the little cabinet you tried to block the door with last time. You take one bite out of your radish but you find yourself to be more thirsty than hungry.
You hear some faint noises outside the house.

Slip the tin into one of my pockets. Then, help Navy Blue to his feet and steer him away from the invisible creature.
Your attempt to help your companion is ineffective, as you are currently located at the the wired fence far from that darned building in which Navy Blue got set back.

Move around the lizard thing

The biped lizard keeps its eyes on you as you carefully move around it. The lizard monster lowers its head with a menacing look. You round past it but hear a close rustling on the grass behind you. The integrity of your recently filled water bucket is threatened but you see a familiar silhouette approaching in front of you.

Get up and run out of the building!

You manage to run out of the building despite your severe injuries but you can't get enough acceleration. After a brief sprint you collapse on the floor. You are lucid and out of the building but your legs gave out. A floating creepy doll hovers over you. She enters the building behind.

You take a nap in the middle of the day, half expecting something to come in that shouldn't. It's around 6 p.m when you wake up. Something smells different on the evening air flowing through the window.
'Captain' recovered some health after resting.

Crawl away from the building a bit more then check my injuries.
You crawl some more, hoping to get away from the invisible demon. After a bit, you place the FN Launcher to the side and check your injuries. There is a huge bruise covering your chest and abdomen. Your legs feel strangely numb but there is no visible injury there.

Run to Navy Blue and help him to his feet, unless he's too injured to stand.
You try to run back towards Navy Blue but your hip is in pain, so you walk instead. Once there, you help him on his feet and the both of you limp away like two drunks stumbling out of a bar at night.

The battered and winded hobgoblin runs up to your location and jumps the biped lizard with an aggressive jingling cry. Startled and feeling outnumbered, the lizard creature retreats. Its mean stare remains on you until it is out of sight.
You greet the purple goblin and he waves his arms desperately trying to convey something. Once he recovers a bit of his breath he points to the trail leading back to the three shacks.


Check the gun I got and see how much ammo is in it.
There are 13 projectiles remaining. Almost a full mag. You feel very tired.

Is it windy and too cold to get some rest out in the open?
While wondering if it would be possible to rest out in the open you notice your companion has dozed off holding a magazine on his right hand. It would seem that, fortunately, the both of you are just too tired to assess the situation so you just lay on the ground and rest, briefly as it may come.

It's around 10 p.m when a cold chill wakes the both of you up. Welcome the night boys.

Both 'Jack' and Navy Blue recovered some health after resting.

Navy blue is thirsty and sore.
Jack is sore.
Mustard is tired(2)
'Captain' is thirsty.
Brown has died of dehydration.

Cautiously look out the window
There is a horrible bear like creature sniffing outside the building. You can't make out the details from up there but it does not look very friendly. Although shocked by this sight, you remain focused enough to detect the distant scent of a snitch.

You open the lid of one of the tin boxes and find two syringes with 'C17H19NO3' printed on 'em. The other box contains a neat comb. There's still water on the bottle and you do drink some. You are no longer thirsty.

Have my gun at the ready and go back to the well and try to get some water from it.
You walk back to the water tank, gun in hand, performing a cool tactical stride. It takes you a couple of minutes but you eventually find a faucet. Fresh water pours out when you open it and, lacking a glass of any kind, you drink directly under it. You close the faucet and no longer feel thirsty.

Carry the water bucket and march towards where ever the goblin is pointing
You pick up your bucket and follow the hobgoblin. It takes you some time until your party arrives back to shack 3 but once there the hobgoblin abruptly stops on his tracks!
He remains stiff in place as you notice a hideous monster sniffing around just outside the porch. A bulky quadruped almost the size of a man with a tyrian purple colored back. Its droopy ears rest behind its head and its slanted eyes are unsettlingly human-like.

There's a smell of death in the air.

Follow Navy Blue.
You accompany Navy Blue as he successfully accomplishes his task. While this is taking place you hear a distant chilling whimper out in the woods. Your heart gets a bit melancholic at it, though you don't know why.

After that try to make an actual weapon of some type maybe I can break off a chair leg or something in this room to get me a sharpened wood stick I don't know look around!

You did bring one jar. When you open it you find it to be filled almost to the brim with honey.
The smell of honey has attracted a creature.

Drink some water from the faucet.
After the fact you realize you weren't particularly thirsty. You still feel quite refreshed tough.

You break off one of the legs of the cute little cabinet with a powerful kick but the broken part comes off more stumpy that pointy. Totally useless against any creature bigger than a little mouse.
Alternatively, you could pick up the saint's mini statue with both hands and throw it in the direction of your foe.


Just back away and wait for it to go away
The creature continues to sniff around the house for a couple minutes before curling up in a ball and, apparently, going to sleep. The hobgoblin then makes a signal with his clawed hand and furtively runs towards the porch. You do the same carefully balancing your bucket and the both of you make it to the front door, exhausted.
The goblin points at the door with agitated motions. It appears it has been busted open and a fight took place inside.

The both of you hear a loud buzzing noise and a thump but you can't see much at a distance in the darkness of the night. Eventually, a huge biped bug approaches with a waddling motion. A big horn sticks out from its head and its face bears a goofy look.
It seems particularly intrigued by the jar.

You pick up the saint's mini statue and hold it over your head as you hear a faint noise downstairs. -Could it be the huge beast that you saw through the window?

You slowly make your way inside. The first story appears to be clear. You walk to the kitchen room and proudly put your water bucket down. The goblins sits on the wooden floor and begins to breath heavily. You feel quite tired too.

The creature approaches at an unnerving speed but just as it is reaching for the jar you begin a conversation with your companion. The bulky monster draws back surprised. You try to find out if the bug is capable of speech by talking at it. The bug rises its right arm and replies with a joyful unintelligible jingling cry.

Stand still and make no sudden movements.
You attentively stand still. The bug interacts with your companion and you notice a certain sentiency behind its goofy face. Totally different from the idiotic friendliness of a beast such as the honey dog. This bug appears be able to understand what Navy Blue is telling him.

Take a breather and eat some more coffee beans if any left.
You try to rest only for a bit before snacking on some coffee beans but the weariness takes its toll and you give in to sleep instead. It's 4:00 a.m when a cold chill wakes you up. A small fairy peacefully waves as you stand up.

Keep holding it above my head and stay still ain't no monster getting one over on me!
You stay still aiming the mini statue at the door for a while but nobody walks in.
The bottled up anticipation makes your upper arms feel tensed up with strength. You gain a temporary constitution bonus.

The creature nods and takes off some path north. After a while your party stumbles upon a few number of stinky corpses. A bunch mauled and other charred black. All of them are wearing a green military uniform and bearing terrified expressions on their rigid faces.
The creature points at the honey jar and (with a proud expression on his goofy face) strikes a dignified pose.


Just a bit longer
You waste your turn and wait. Until a somewhat familiar figure walks up dangerously close to you. It's the man that interrupted your nap some time ago.

Go upstairs, as quietly as possible
You climb the steps as quiet as you can but there is someone waiting there. The Captain that broke in sometime ago is holding a small statue over his head menacingly. You could be in danger. A tiny fairy that was following you upstairs gasps.

While approaching the nearest corpse you kick a somewhat heavy object and stub your toe.
I'll be a couple of hours till the sun rises and it is hard to see in the dark but you try your best to ransack. You pick up the item that hurt your digits and it appears to be a pump-action firearm.

You step back down the stair. The Captain remains still as if affected by a trance. The little fairy backs away with you but the hobgoblin is havin' none of it. He jumps at the man in green uniform with incredible speed and knocks the mini statue off his hands. Both creature and object twirl around in embrace on the way down. With acute gymnastics the creature manages to land the mini statue without it taking much damage. Your party's got the upper hand now.

See if I can find something to pour the honey in so I can give it to the creature.
True to your word you try to find a container to pour the honey in. But it's hard to see at this time o' the hour. While you pat around a charred corpse near you the monster's patience runs out. Two powerful arms squeeze around your helpless body. After a couple of stomps you hear a very noisy buzzing sound as the creature takes off the ground. You are being abducted.

You sprint and leap towards your companion but your fingers slip from his heels. Tumbling backwards you helplessly watch the rapid ascent of Navy Blue. You hear the rustling of grass to the right of you.

"Oh shit, I was gonna give you the honey I just wanted to keep the jar!"
Try to get out of the creatures grips before we get to high up.
You try to explain the situation to the rapidly elevating creature. He replies with an enthusiastic jingling cry and begins to descend at an angle. Vertigo and fear gathers as the both of you plummet in the direction of the Well. A thundering rumble roars at the moment of impact. The small building has collapsed and a thick dust cloud surrounds you.

Observe the mini statue, as the captain ain't doing stuff as it seems like
You hunker down to better observe the mini statue. It depicts a bearded man, the top of his head is shaved and he is wearing a habit. The painting work on the piece is average as if painted by a little kid. A scripture on the base reads 'St. Francis'.
The battered 'hobgoblin' notices your interest on the statue and performs an interesting pantomime placing both of his hands on the top of his head and walking like a girl then finishing up by crossing himself and pointing at the mini statue while uttering a sad jingling cry.

There is no such injury, the creature's back absorbed all the impact. Little by little the sound of falling debris stops. Your captor unhands you and flies away as the sun rises.

Make a note of this location and how I got here, grab the shotgun, and then run towards the sound of the impact.

'hobgoblin' shakes his head at the first question and then runs off somewhere. Several minutes later he returns holding a tiny ink bottle and dips one of his sharp claws in. After that he doodles the letter 'a' on a wall close by. The sunlight slowly fills the room as both 'hobgoblin' and the little fairy vanishes before your eyes.

Welcome the noon. The sun is high in the sky.

You make it back to your destination after an hour and find yourself thirsty. As you approach the stinky corpses you see a buggy in the distance getting closer to your general direction.

You wake up five hours later not feeling quite rested still but the acid sensation you had in your stomach has diminished. You're still hungry though.

"Hey wait don't you still want the honey?"
Get a drink from the well and look through the ruins of the building we crashed into.
You drink some water from the faucet even though you're not particularly thirsty and wash the dust off your face.

You find a grimy, pocket notebook in the ruins and it reveals some useful information. Located further up north at a couple days travel you can find a populated castle. There is also a warning about a dangerous tree bearing psychoactive fruits of pernicious effects on the forest close by. Uh-oh!
