Serve in a tank glass with ice.

That's a fancy one, and you start by putting some crushed ice into a tank glass. Then you add the white-ish-clear synthols before topping it with Ambrosia which gives it curiously milky, maybe even bleached yellow, color. Not very silvery, you have to note. You push the glass to Truang, who pulls out his credchip so that you can scan it for one last time. (+226c)

"Aaah... I see. Well, I've heard that SRC expects an outpost to make at least twenty to thirty thousand in synthol sales a month. How you doing on that?"

You look at the console and frown just so slightly.

"I think I'm doing alright. It is a high profit ceiling, how can you be so sure?"

"I can't be, I've told you, I've heard that it is twenty or thirty thousand. I didn't see any actual SRC rules or accounting for that matter. Maybe the kid on Nepnep VI was just overstating things?" Truang shrugs and takes another sip.

B) "Any pointers on sales pitching, then?"
C) "I was meaning to ask, are you affiliated with PleasureCrafts? Your item list would suggest so."

"I wish I could, but I know little. Rumor that courses between small merchants and my suppliers." He takes another sip.

"I've heard that they have no corporate planets, surprisingly enough. They've been somehow staying out of politics, but look at that - when the war was coming to an end, they've secured a monopoly on synthetic alcohol supply for dignitaries, police and military forces of the New Federation. What else, hm..." The man whistles and then straightens in his chair.

"That they're one of the only corpos with social package programs for their employees. Free housing and discounts and all that."

"That one I can confirm as being true. I've read on it."

"Hm, well, employee loyalty might be one thing they have over their rivals in Metro-L and PleasureCrafts, then." Truang sips once more from his glass.

A) "Any advice to get my sales better so that I can meet the purported quota?"
B) "Speaking of PleasureCrafts, are you their affiliate?"
C) "I don't think I've heard of Metro-L before."
D) "Anything else you know about SRC?"
