If you make a uniform that replaces clothing, but does not actually include clothing, you will get armed and armored angry naked dwarfs. Armor does not count as clothing! If you use "replace clothing" you need to add, at the very least, socks, trousers and a shirt to your uniform.

Ahhh, ok thanks,  gotcha.  I'm still easing into all the changes for DF2012, and haven't found a convenient compendium of all the nitty gritty gameplay changes from 31.25.
