I have sat in some incredibly comfortable unpadded wooden chairs. It's mostly a matter of construction (and a bit of many years of people sitting in it, slowly wearing a perfectly human molded seat.).

Most wooden ones are built terribly in regards to comfort. But some. Some stand (sit?) out.

Technically, the chair stands so you don't have to.

I've never had a problem with backed chairs, I do slouch a lot but most of the time I'm actually doing stuff and not just lazing about I sit upright, so I'm relatively healthy in that regard.

My favorite chair would probably be the one I'm sitting in right now. It's old, ugly, and has what I can only guess to be dead mold covering one of the corners, but it's right in front of my computer, and that makes it my favorite. :P

The best chair is a bed.

But you can't sit up in a bed :( It's like physically impossible to stay sitting before falling on your back.

You do not yet possess enough pillows. That's all that can really be said. There's... maybe fifteen or so on my bed right now, I think? Plus about four or five blankets, which double as particularly amorphous pillows. I'd like more. If I want to sit up, I sit the hell up, supported by my spontaneously assembled throne of comfort.

Making sure the bed's flush against a wall helps, though. Some extra support.

To be fair to the bed, it does have one weakness:
It is not a spinny chair.

It, um. Exists. Has for a while. Tends to be associated with somewhat, uh. Well. *Ahem*, so to speak. Acts. They tend to be accompanied by mirrors on the ceiling, is what I'm saying. Wink wink nudge nudge.

You can say the word "sex" you know.

Though I can't really grasp how a spinning bed would be useful for that.

I believe that it synergies with the mirrors strategically placed around the room. Just a hunch.

Sex! Now that I have your attention...wait, what are we talking about?

Oh, chairs. Best chair: Shiatsu massage plush leather armchair. *drool*
Worst chair: Tall barstools. Seriously, fuck those.

Well, yes, I could, but considering ab00 apparently didn't already know they exist I figured it'd be somewhat polite to be more oblique about it than say, "We've got those beds, and they're made fer fuckin'."

And yeah, beyond the mirrors I'm not really sure what the advantage is, outside of some fringe cases I won't consider due to forum ToS :P

It takes a pretty remarkable person to decide that sex isn't enough without the bed spinning around and the walls coated in mirrors.
