Ah. So the main character could have skills that consume 0 MP, meaning that he/she could use MP as a dump stat, though I'm not sure what the extra points would be dumped into. Defence maybe? FPS?

Oh, and while I have your ear, what status effects are in the game so far? I'm just planning a bit ahead with my skills here.

EDIT:

I'll leave Dex and Res at C then. I see no reason to increase either of them, and due to RP reasons I don't want a medibot that can barely control its limbs.

Front Walking


Back Walking

Mostly low-hanging fruit there. The front walking one is just the idle sequence with a different set of lights and the legs moving a bit. The back walking one is just the front walking one flipped with the lights/badge removed (and a fancy charging port added). Besides flipping the legs are exactly the same as the front walking one, though that'll certainly be changed once I figure out where everything goes.

States so far besides normal states:

Incapacitated
Poison
Darkness/Blind
Silenced
Confused
Sleep
Paralysis
Stunned (differing from paralysis in that a stunned character recovers after one turn and still has a chance to evade)
The various stat boosts and drops besides DEX and RES

Planned:

The different kinds of dragon form Zanzetzuken wants, and any you've got planned.

Are Sleep/Confusion like the FFIII/VI variant where they immediately disappear if the character takes damage?

Alright, i'll go into more detail. :P

Poison: Lose 1/10th hp / turn. Doesn't go away without healing spells or herbs.
Darkness: 1/4 normal hit chance. 20% chance to go away on its own every turn after 3 turns of blindness.
Silenced: Cannot use magic. 20% chance to go away on its own every turn after 3 turns of silence.
Confusion: Always attack allies. Goes away after battle finishes. After 1 turn, there's a 40% chance it will go away.
Sleep: Cannot move or evade. Goes away when battle finishes, or when damage is taken. Also, a 20% chance per turn.
Paralysis. Cannot move or evade. After 3 turns, 15% chance every turn to recover.
Stun. Cannot move, can still evade. 100% chance after one turn to recover.

Yep. I added Berserk.

3 turns of 150% attack, cannot do anything else. Useful for boosting meleer's stats, and making a mage enemy utterly useless. Cannot stack with attack boosting moves.

Just for laughs, I added 'Disillusioned.'

20% of normal ATK, SPI and FPS. 1/4 chance to hit. 100% chance after 4 turns of angsting to return to normal state. When damaged, returned to normal state.

for an actor: (Target Name) has become disillusioned with fighting and doesn't want to attack.
for an enemy: (Target Name) has become a pacifist, temporarily at least.
state is ongoing: (Target Name) is still angsting about the damage they caused to life.
state is released: (Target Name) is ready to fight again.

Final boss debuff, definitely. Some players may be immune to disillusionment.

Excellent.

I was thinking about having a skill called Robo-Slap, which would cost 0 MP and do exactly 1 damage. Obviously it's only use would be to wake up asleep allies while doing next to nothing damage. Mind you I'm not so sure anymore, since sleep is the only status effect that would be cured by that. It's going in. Slapping fools in the face is the proven cure for wangst.

Paralysis or Stun could be Shock. Because, ya well, shock images? Goddamn fucking trolls.

Also, these scripts are all of Yanfly Melody, so if you don't have them you know how to find them.

It counts as a losing status effect (if the whole party is a "Loser" you lose... or if the only conscious members are losers you lose)

Mutated could work. What effects would it cause? There's the standard ones, plus I think Yanfly Melody gives you some extra ones, not sure what.

And you could have Robo-Slap make it deal 1 damage, (skills can have a 'cancel state' effect).

Description for the skill Wangst, some high level creatures use it:

Armok causes our heroes to wangst about their fighting and lack of a waifu.

Robo Slap: USEC slaps a team-mate with a poop sock to prevent them wangsturbating.
Deals 1 damage and removes (currently) just Wangst/Disillusionment.
Oddly enough, USEC (Svampapa for the moment) can target himself with this move.

I also added the 'Oil Can Attachment' for the two bots: improves FPS, but nothing else.

Hrm...

Mostly I would use it, maybe a select few enemies. I thought at first 'Well when I had that happen they always turned into boss like enemies'  so maybe a couple random stats would go up by 100% and some others would decrease by 50%. YOu have no way of telling if it made things better or worse.

Oh this is brilliant. the test beast 'Armok' caused Greatorder the bear to start wangsting so Svampapa/USEC slapped him in the face and he recovered.
