You can't shear the fluffy ponies. In-universe, they'd die if you did that because of poor heat management. Have to butcher them to get the fur.
The alicorn version is actually shearable.

2.2 Development report #1:
-Got rid of the "any_land" biome in some of the mod creatures. For example, the timber wolves will appeear in forests only, and the various feral gem ponies are distributed somewhat evenly around the world.
-Tanning reaction will produce some (0-3) "leather scraps" tools, which are used to make recycled leather. Also, plant cloth can be boiled in oil to make fake leather.
-Flesh Trees.
-Fungal wood processing is now 2 steps. The first step produces fungal heartwood (and some food items) from raw wood, then there's the existing one to polish it with oil.

I will now fix the issue with stockpiling gem furniture.

Given that it appears in this mod the world has quite literally gone to total shit I don't think one can blame them.

Actually the only ones with the dependence tag are draltha ponies (as seen in the original mod) and anthro ponies ("twisted into humanoid form by the god of blood").

The gem replication system has been modified!

First, I've made duplicate inorganic materials for all gems, which are actually stone. Items made from replicated gems will be stockpiled as stone items.
This also allowed to put the first step (repication of a large gem chunk that will be cut into an item / shattered and cut into gems) back in. The chunks will be stockpiled as stone tools.

Second, creating a gem item produces gem fragments (also technically stone tools for stockpiles). These can be combined to make special gems (which ones are made, depends on the quality of the fragments).

All gems can be replicated, with some exceptions (fel crystal, mana crystal, charged harmonic diamond).

The advanced bone crafting system has been modified!

-Four inorganic bonemold materials (one for each creature material strength tier) which are technically bone. Items made of them will be stored as 'bone', hopefully (we'll see how this tests out).
-Chunks (tools) of bonemold are formed from a pile of bone projectiles of the appropriate tier (still the only way to overcome the bone stack bug without screwing up thigns) using catalysts. Items (furniture, weapons, armor, projectile stacks) are made from these chunks.
-Bone flux can be made from tier-1 (1 flux) and tier-2 (2 flux) bonemold chunks.
-Bonemold can be enchanted to make a stronger variant. It's done by combining it with rainbow bars at an enchantment altar; for example, normal bonemold (tier 1) combines with dull rainbow (5:1) to become its enchanted version (material strength qualities are equal to iron).

The graveforge has been removed.

The bees have been modified!

-All existing hiveable insects are removed
-Replacing them are five species of Flutterwing, covering all land biomes
-Honey and Jelly are produced as globs instead of misc_liquid [Globs are stored in a fat stockpile!]
-Flutterwing hives will produce combs; some will produce jelly
-All combs will produce silk when processed
-All except Ice will produce wax; Ice produces crushed magical ice (a dye)
-All except Desert will produce honey
-Forest will produce special jelly, which will be used instead of oil in alternative wood polishing reactions to make more valuable wood
-Swamp and Desert will produce unique gems; Desert will produce more


I think that's everything for the new version. I'll make an effort to test it sometime soon, and then release.
