Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

Also for my spriting experience, I've been doing it on and mostly off for about seven years; started with making sets for RPGMaker XP and went from there. :P

Shit, that explains it, me and most of the others have been doing this for a few weeks/month.

But please can I have your palette your colors are so beautiful

I've learned that FE sprites apparently love their hair spikes, and make me wonder as to their MT, WT, and QL.

I laughed.

@ SC: Mind putting some mugs for Grifen (my FEF2 character) together when you have some spare time? Yours really are the best ones :3

Hey Praefectus, you mind posting those Druid mugshots you made again? Also, I remember there were two of them; which one would you prefer for your sprite to be based off of?

Nice. I'm waiting on a bit more information for Sheila. All I have worked out at the moment is she's the bastard daughter of a pirate captain, who she traveled with for a few months before she got shipwrecked and was left to fend for herself.

They were based on the dark druid styleeee. Tantallos will look like a dark druid psycho. And I did two because I still don't know which one looks better. So l will repost for you and the others give their opinion too.

Admittedly, it's more of a two-paragraph bio since two of the paragraphs are personality.
Efa was the daughter of a peasant man who started a small revolt, (which she couldn't join due to being too timid) which was crushed, killing her father and brother- and leaving her mother, her and her younger sister to change their names and sneak out into Syra and then to the Free Port, developing a pretend personality of being super arrogant so in case the chance for revenge came up she wouldn't get rejected again.

...Maybe. Still debating that part.

@Praefectus: I prefer the yellow/gold scheme, honestly. More contrast.

Nope, Leo's are alive and well.

Also, heh. I should ask Haspen for some sort of artist credit on the staff screen. XD No worries, Sirus. I'll get to them. For those wanting my palette, I'll see if I can make a zipfile and upload it to my dropbox or something. I use the 24-bit BMP filetype as a workbench, then when I'm done I save the file as a png to save space and whatnot... so my palette is actually quite, quite large. Basically I have... about 175 colors with 238 shades/hues for each color. I would say 240 per 'color' but the darkest is always pure black and the lightest pure white. So all told I guess I have about 42,000 colors I can choose from. XD I always find it best, though, when using these colors to pick the square you want to be the darkest color and then select it and the next three to five down; as they're all the 'same color' it works great.
