Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

And it obviously wouldn't actually be WWII, but it would have similar levels of technology. Like that PS3 game that I really wanted to try, but have no PS3 :P

Valkyria Chronicles? I have the PSP sequel. It is awesome. I was actually considering basing a forum game on it.
That one, yes! It's actually a lot like FE from what I heard, but unique enough that it wasn't a clone.

It's actually not that similar, since one unit can move multiple times, and it's significantly harder to tell if you're going to take down an enemy or not. It has a similar spirit (Young people come together to create a powerful military force and save the day), but the execution is quite different. It's a lot more lenient regarding death also.

Sci-fi FE? Sounds awesome. As does the WWI-Era FE also.

Powder: Maybe with magic, you could go the route of electrical warfare. Like, EMPs, hacking, so such. Or just straight up magic.

I hope Tantallos get some MAG, SLK and SPD on the next level up. These rolls are being too trolly. >_>

Bmm said everything. A archer with insane crit rate would have saved us a lot of time and heals.. and vulneraries.. and.. yeah you got the point.
