One word. Distance. They won't be able to get there in one turn, and we just can hit her once through the walls, IF we even manage to hit. ( As this attempt failed).  It would take like four or five turns to get there, more than enough to that thief open BOTH of the chests, and unless both of them are going to be automatically given to the character who killed her, we will lose them.

I meant literally get there, not toss javelins and hope to hit. Like I said, just one will be able to give a shot for each turn as the range is 1-2. She will have time to open both of the chests depending of the case. (More misses and no crits).

I propose a tactical equipment suggestion: If it is possible for a character to have a ranged version of their equipment, they should try to obtain one, unless they already have a ranged attack. The idea here is that everyone would be able to attack from a range.

As for the thief girl, my suggestion is to try and cover whatever chest she may go for with javelins and shaman spells. You guys can still do the shaman shuffle on the merc though, which would make fighting them much easier. Only pull as many as needed though, the front will need as many people as they can have for the fight there.

Last question regarding the looters, after which I ain't touching this discussion: How does the stolen loot work in your game? Last chest open is drop? All chest items drop? No items drop, and steal only? What are we working with if the rng fails us?

If Valor and Riven move closer to Gregor, Gregor will have a +40 bonus to hit with javelin v:
