Yeah, by the time you whapped the sectoid engineer to death, you had zero TUs so I couldn't move anyone else in the room/have you look around. There'll be a Valor Inara II running around now too though.

Yeah, there was a lot less in the ship than I actually thought. I figured there would be like, four or something, not the two in the reactor and the one huddling in a corner.

Yeah, once again I was banking on there actually being several in the ship. You would of been the second one in, but since there was no one actually in the pilot room. Don't worry, everyone will have their chance to die ingloriously, its X-Com after all. But then again, with me at the wheel that means that if you're about to die I'll slap you with an HE primed to a dead man's trigger and have you charge a group of aliens.

But yeah, three missions and only two KIA and one wounded. Not bad. Superhuman doesn't really feel that... Hard, honestly. But that's probably because I've not seen anything beyond Sectoid so far. I think the first terror mission starts around the end of the month.

If yes, then you must know there's a bug that turns all difficulties into 'Beginner' because of coding error.

But yes. After the first mission, a bug automatically changes the difficulty to the lowest setting.

Well, the patch is, I believe, an unofficial one that you have to install yourself.

Original version is unpatched.
Collector's Edition is, I believe, patched.
DOSBOX version is definitely patched.

Now I gotta check to see if I have the Collector's Edition or not. Can't remember, was waaaay too long ago since I got it.

EDIT: Yep, got the bug. Version 1.2. Darn, now I gotta check for a patch that won't change the game too dramatically. Heard that XcomUTIL makes some things easier, like being able to blow through ship walls with HEs.
