Consider this: Gregor and Derick have a duel with same quality weapons (Iron, for example) and in neutral conditions (no terrain, supports and so on). On whom you would bet?

Derick the Swordmaster of Doom
Gregor the Tanky Stab-Sentinel

you do NOT need that many bows
come on give me some money for once
Pure water'd make me incredibly effective.

If you want, you can borrow Seyena's. I think it might be enough to cover a single water.

Huh? It's just three bows, same as I had before, but instead of having one that will run out next final mission and one that doesn't do anything useful, I'll have two useful ones. Or at least just this one iron bow.

The negligible amount of money I have leftover from shopping is available if anyone needs something. Like a pure water, or a Brave Lance, for example.
Boy, it sure would be nice if, say, Matilda had a bunch of gold that we got to make use of. So we could purchase such wonderous items as Pure Water and a Brave Lance. Especially a Brave Lance.

Hint hint, Haspen :P

The joys of Nullify. That critical shield looks nice though...

EDIT: Wouldn't an Egelda Shield do the same? Something I've been wondering.

Yes. One just protects from  bows, other is basically Nullify. Which means I will go and up the price now. Thanks for noticing! :3

Ah, one was actually for sale? I thought only the hoplon and the delphi sheilds were. No problem, it was an idle wonder on my part.

Meh. It really isn't important enough to worry about it. We've got, like, two chapters left (?) and our main foci at this point should be

1. Playing well
2. Promoting the last unpromoted units.

Really, we're powerful enough to mow down whatever Haspen throws us through teamwork. Murder blade? Pshaw. Last chapter was a perfect survival success, and we spent most of it down.

Everything else is just throwing gold at other junk we might use.

My, my, but pride goeth.  The way I see it, our success last chapter should encourage Haspen to redouble his efforts. ^_^

Team Gregor+Alexander (aka Steelwhal) would be able to deal with that. Alexander Guards Gregor, Gregor provides Alexander with enough of a DEF boost to make the Murderblade do trivial (if any) damage. Plus the weapon triangle advantage. Really, to those two a Murderblade is not really a big deal.

I figure that's an assumption that goes without saying really. In fact there's much worse than one could do than just that. Heck, I just thought of one that would be a 'nothing to do but cry' on the scale of evil and difficulty. I won't say it though to preserve innocent eyes and ears.

EDIT: Also because I don't think there should be several iterations of this on a single page. One is more than enough and I've already learned to fear the almighty newspaper.
