You can't balance out the Karma you accumulate for Tonberries. Every time you do something dickish, it adds up. You can eventually reduce it by being nice to monsters and such, people who most wouldn't consider worthy of helping(so Trianna might sorta count), but mostly, it just accumulates. Gambling doesn't count, being human counts against you anyway and is the whole purpose of the thing, being male doesn't matter, and neither does being liked.

Hidden backstory may or may not,I have no idea.

I just need to know what the multiplier on damage is likely to be when she Karma-stabs him.

I have no idea on the Tonberry karma system but... I guess it's slightly negative since human Vs. being a nice guy in general?

I'm basically trying to adapt it from the games, where it would deal damage to you based on how many enemies you've defeated. I'll say a modifier of x.7 or so, then.

Be warned, this is gonna hurt like a bitch, by the way.

Actually; Elf, you can subtract the damage that would normally be done for the magic part. that should be an appropriate modifier.(and no matter what, it still does at least a few points of damage, I think)

How badly would a resistance fighter/vigilante be hurt?

Depends. Vigliante would probably be hurt pretty dam bad, if not insta-killed. Resistance fighter slightly less so, but not by mich.
