I'm not very happy with the bio at all, but it's what I could throw up after about fifteen minutes, so it'll do for now.

Bio (WIP?): Rian was always a fool and a coward growing up. He never won any of the fights he found himself dragged into - he never managed to woo over anyone's heart. He tried to take the easy path out of anything and everything, and had gained a reputation as a generally unlikable person. This lasted for sixteen miserable years, both for him, and the village. Merely three days past his birthday, the village was raided by bandits.
Most of the village was slain - many had tried to fight back, with shovels, pitchforks, and improvised spears. Most ended up killed, with Rian's father, mother, and younger sister meeting the death toll. Yet, Rian survived - and it was not due to any courage or skill. He had taken a chopping axe to fend off a pair of bandits - and, honestly, had managed to survive well after the pillaging had started. Yet for his troubles, he only ended with a hamstrung leg, a bloodied face and jaw, and an ultimatum. His fighting had caught the attention of the man who had led the vicious pack, and offered him a place within the group. If Rian declined, he would die.
Rian didn't want to die. He took the offer, and spent the next couple months of his life following those who had killed his family, friends, and ended his livelihood. And for the first time in a long, long while, Rian took action. He saw an opening to kill the very same man who had slain his family - and took it. The bandit was in pieces before most any of the others even noticed, and by that time, Rian was gone.
After that, his life blended into a mixture of settling in a village for a season, doing work on farms and in smithies, and the actual wandering from one village to another. He never felt safe enough to stay in a village - he was afraid that they too, would be pillaged, just as his had. And his fear came true. One village he resided at was under attack from a different, smaller group. This time, they were fended off, and Rian personally slew three.
This was noticed by a hunter in the village. He approached Rian, and wondered if Rian wanted to hunt the brigands that had fled. To make sure they don't attack their village - or any other village for that matter - again. Rian agreed, and the man became his mentor in the hunting, and killing of the most dangerous game. After they finished a majority of the original group, they didn't stop, continuing on through villages, hunting and killing bandits at the request of the villagers. This went on for the lesser part of a year, and Rian had almost turned twenty. They had botched an ambush, and in the process, his mentor was killed. Rian still hardly had any experience with fighting, hunting, or survival in general, but he kept on their hunt regardless. He wouldn't back down again.
