((I only have photoshop, on my desktop, which has no internet, and usb ports that don't work. So no. Good idea though. I have picture options with LittlePip now, problem is, every single one has other people/ponies in it.))

((Paint.NET's magic wand tool is good for cropping everything but a specific character/object out of a picture. It only really works on cartoonish things, but that shouldn't be a problem in this particular case. Its other tools should be fine for modifying the picture for facial expressions etc., as well.))

Anywho, I'm going to see if I can get the next case ready by tomorrow, so stay tuned.

An admission about the last case is that I hadn't actually finished designating the villain until the end of the second investigation. In hindsight, I think it might've been better to have kept the "Link has a wife on her umpteenth pregnancy leave" as a one-line gag reference, and to have Link characterized as a power-hungry nutcase. He would have roughed you up and destroyed some piece of vital evidence after breaking his psyche-locks. The day after, in court, there would have been a better final showdown, which would've felt more like Turnabout Goodbyes than Turnabout Succession. I know that that sounds sort of like a blend of a bunch of the villains of the series--[the real perpetrator is the one who finds the lawyer in the first place, akin to 5-3, and the real perp takes vital evidence, akin to 1-4, specifically]--but I still think it'd been better than a villain straight out of left field who literally blows up after two contradictions thanks to deus ex machina.

Oh well. Hindsight is 20/20, I guess. And this time I'm going to write the whole thing out in advance.

((The one before the one before this, with the Perceive and stuff, was sort of a blend of the attempts. I decided Kristoph was the real bad guy from step 1, and I decided that the lemon agent was a fake from the moment he was on the stand, but I made pointing out the contradiction between the two tapes and his story on the fly. Considering that I had to walk through the tape contradiction step-by-step whereas the rest of the case came pretty naturally, I think that planning stuff out ahead of time wins.))

One question I want to ask, though. Thoughts on how I locked the thread after the fake verdict and introduced the Chekov's Gunman element (where Athena showed up) after unlocking?
