Support the draining proposal.

I'm confused.
Really, what on earth is going on?
And what killed Yaos so quickly and silently?

I don't know how to find out, he appears to have been slain in a locked down dimension...

Oppose the draining proposal, whenever that showed up.

There should be a way to revive a dead god, shouldn't there? Maybe giving it essence?

After realizing that dead gods can be revived, oppose essence draining proposal.

Propose Yaos be revived just enough to tell us what killed him, for the moment. Communication with the dead type of stuff. Full revival can wait until this fiend is dealt with.

Jeffrey: "The Emperor killed Yaos! It was the Angel-Emperor of Mankind! The Emperor is currently in battle with Minos - one of Yaos' Angels. Yaos can be revived, so please do so! Cim! She saved your life when she donated Essence to wake you from sleep! Azem! Yaos was always grateful for what you did for him and her race. You have plenty of Essence so if you could just donate a bit! Joha, remember how you worked with Yaos to bring two new creatures into the world?"

A message is sent to the regular angels, Vaal, and Lette to enter the Human Plane, help Minos, and kill the Emperor!

Yes, let's revive Yaos!
Quite a surprise who struck him/her down, though.

Find Kifo and head directly to the Human Plane with him.

((At this point, Jeffrey would really appreciate it if the first thing you did was revive Yaos.))

Jeffrey allows Joha's and Azem's forces through.

Give 10 essence to reviving Yaos.
Given that we're fighting a rather powerful angel, it's a bad idea to go in with little essence.

Assess the situation in the Human Plane.

Given that we're fighting a rather powerful angel

(Not that powerful, actually. Vaal and Lette, individually, can each defeat the Emperor. I didn't give him the ENHANCED trait, if I remember correctly, and both Telialas and Zephemural are each more powerful than the Fire Sword since they were attuned to their wielders and especially because of their powers (especially Zephemural's).)

EDIT:

(So can I just come back to life now?)
