I'm gonna wait to see if YG2 gets launched. I'd prefer to play Malakath there rather than here but if it doesn't get launched I'll play her here instead.

I thought we cleared this up-but we aren't continuing the game in V2. So if you want to make a character, you should get on it.
I think he means he wants to just use Malakath's character sheet again, basically.
Don't see how he can't do it in both games...

Not sure that's the correct use of the word obviously, there. And that's basically exactly what I said; he wanted to play as Malakath again. I'm pretty sure he knew we were starting over, considering everyone started leaking secrets, and got confused by things into wondering whether he was correct.

I realise that YG 1 has ended. If YG2 gets launched (KJP's version), I'll play as Malakath there and another god in YG:GotG. If YG2 doesn't get launched I'll play Malakath in Glow. Does that clear the confusion?

The power to change reality simply by narrating what happens. For example, if Possaio narrates "The green rock slowly shifted to red," then the green rock does just that. Any costs this would incur are paid as usual. I suspect this wouldn't actually cost much, considering it's mostly for fluff.

Just as a heads up: The old magic system was terribly inexact and riddled with both holes and patches, overpowered and underpowered at times. You probably won't want to use it as is if magic is to have a large role. :P

For a few ideas to start off the discussion, what about...
  • Magic being everywhere and derived from magically significant features of the environment
  • Magic being derived from the gods (belief doesn't matter much) and related closely to their spheres
  • Magic as the manifestation and usage of tiny amounts of Essence gods pool in a dimension of some sort

I suppose we could always design it in-council, though seeing as how our planetary creation is (not) going it could take forever  :P. We could always just go with generic "Mana", "Life Energy", or just "Magical Energy" that somehow comes from life in an unexplained way.

I guess I'll put the basic prices here...

10,000 sapients = 5E
1 Archangel = 4E
10 Angels = 3E
100 Godly servants = 1E

1 normal star = 20E
1 inhabited planet = 8E
1 uninhabited planet = 6E
1 moon = 4E

Sphere opposing action = 1-3E
Sphere aligned action -= 1-3E

Council creations are half off.
Pantheon* creations are one quarter off.
Alliances apply a sphere aligned bonus.

Pantheons* also provide partial worship quality to every member.

*To receive Pantheon bonuses there must be at least 3 members in the Pantheon.
