Haven't PBEM'd in a while, and I don't feel quite ready for another Dominions match just yet. So in the meantime, anyone up for a game of Solium Infernum? 4-6 player game would be nice to get going. Settings are negotiable but I'll put my preferred ones below. I can host the game. I can't guarantee turn a day, every day, but I don't expect too many hiccups.
I'm not in a rush to start this, so I'm willing to wait a week or two to get the full 6 if necessary.

Settings:
Map size - Normal
Map type - Not sure. Something other than Lake of Fire, the guaranteed PoP is pretty powerful. Might as well sample something else for a change. Do we want more open land or choke points? I probably lean towards choke points.
Places of power - Uncommon
Game length - Short or Normal
Infernal census - No
Rectification expansion - Yes

And for the uninitiated: What is Solium Infernum? More in the spoiler.
The Devil has disappeared. His archfiends (the players) each seek to be selected the new Big Boss of hell. This can be achieved in one of three ways:
1. Have the most prestige when the Infernal Conclave convenes (semirandom, pretedetermined at game start).
2. Assault and hold the Pandemomium (essentially the congress of Hell) for five turns. During this time you're excommunicated, you can't purchase anything from the Bazaar and you're free game for the other players.
3. There are two perks that let a player win the game if another player "wins" the game. These are fairly expensive and require some specialized strategies and they only work if the "winning" player wins by method #1.
How that actually plays out is a game of diplomatic cat & mouse, where players (all members of the infernal conclave) use a fairly comprehensive diplomatic system to bait and drive the others into positions where they either have to relinquish some prestige or open themselves up for limited feudal warfare. This isn't a wargame, though there are legions and the said legions occasionally stomp on each other and can be used to (with careful manipulation) beat players out of the game.
There's a lot of mechanics to dwell on with the game and this post isn't for that. Suffice to say that it's a game of devious diplomacy and fiendish politics.
PBEM how-to for players:
1. Receive a [name of the game].inv file from game host.
2. Save [name of the game].inv file into your _NewGameStarts folder.
In my win7 the file path is:
C:\Users\User\Documents\SoliumInfernumGame\MultiPlayerSaves\_NewGameStarts
3. Start the game. Select "Multiplayer". Select "Load Game". [name of the game] should appear on the screen. Select it. You should now be asked to select a previously made avatar to be used in the game, do so. This should prompt a dialogue box, click "ok" to dismiss it.
4. Go to your \MultiPlayerSaves folder. There should be a new folder named [name of the game]. In that folder should be a .trn file. Email the .trn file to the host.
5. Wait until the host emails you a .sav file.
6. Save the .sav file to your \MultiPlayerSaves\[Name of the game] folder.
7. Open SI and load a multiplayer game. Do your turn. Press "End Turn".
8. Upon exiting the game you should find a .trn file in the [Name of the game] folder. Email it to the host.
9. Keep passing the .sav/.trn files between host and player until game ends.
