Okay, so yelling increasingly granular questions at the universe is taking too long. Hell, I'm honestly not even sure if the party even needs a buffer anymore seeing as they now have Kyle, Parov Stelar, and Volx. So, time to look into other options from a broader, more general perspective. Hopefully this will be quicker and less likely to spook the GMs
Elf, Sanure, feasibility check and advice on the following please:
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
The idea behind this build to just have plenty of Perks and Passives that amplify the benefits and abilities of equipment, at the cost of barring Delacroix from having intrinsic Actives. The idea is that he'd be able to fill in any role so long as there's relevant equipment on-hand. This of course assumes that equipment can possess significantly potent non-damage effects like ailments, healing, and buffs, otherwise this wouldd just amount to a suboptimal damage dealer build.
Another neccesary Perk would be the ability to trade Action Points for Equipment. That way he can bring gear in from his setting to fill in the inevitable gaps.
Capitalism has worked very well. Anyone who wants to move to North Korea is welcome.
This is going to be all about forward-planning and coordination. The idea is to give Delacroix a selection of items rather than Active Actions, each of which is single use and has a fixed cost. At every rest point, he'll be able to restock, refreshing his items (basically, he'll have a 'budget' to spend, so he can stock up on a few very potent items or a wider range of cheaper ones, or a mixture thereof). These items can be used by anyone in a pinch (with his permission of course, I don't exactly trust 6AR to make any particularly good decisions), though he'll likely have Perks or Passives that make him better at using them, seeing as they'll come from his setting after all.
Main issue with this is really just justifying how the hell he mananges to purchase those items from his setting of origin, especially when outside of the space-station.
I mean I suppose he could just have a much larger budget and only restock between plots, but seeing as there likely won't be much IC knowledge of what they'll be up against, this option is suboptimal.
