Suzy: "Oh Gammy..." *shaking her head* "That's no way to talk to the new owner of your team." Wait, what?
Suzy: "Yep, that's right. As of an hour ago, I became the new owner of the Sunderberg Legumes! It was a pricey deal, but hey, what's another hundred thousand gold pieces to me?" No, this can't be...
Suzy: "Anyway, I hope you'll be showing more respect to me from now on. I mean, if you hope to continue doing well in your career."

She leans in and straightens your dress. (whisper) "And maybe consider wearing something a bit more appropriate and tasteful in public. Just a thought."
Suzy then brushes past you, exiting the hotel as her groupies snicker and follow after her. Could this day get any worse?

Soon, the hotel maid walks out from the left hallway, looking extremely distraught. Your eyes meet, as you exchange a look of suspicion.
She goes to the front desk and whispers something in the hotel manager's ear. The manager looks shocked for a moment, as he leaves the desk and follows the maid into the hallway.

You narrow your eyes in suspicion and follow the maid, making sure they don't enter your room.
Oh she is NOT going to show the manager my personal things!

You follow them into the hallway, spotting them enter one of the rooms and closing the door behind them. A few moments later, they come out, quietly discussing something between themselves before noticing you. The manager makes some final comments and then heads towards you and the lobby.
Hotel Manager: "Ehm, excuse me Miss Sommers." He says distractedly as he hurries past you.

Meanwhile, the maid is still standing near the room door, looking a bit disturbed and glancing in your direction with a strange uneasiness.

"Well, you seem a little tense..."

She takes a deep breath and looks around.
"I'm not supposed to tell anyone this yet but... there's a dead body in this room! I found it just now, and it looks like they were murdered!"

??: "Murdered!? Who's been murdered!?"
A couple of guests appear from around the corner of the hallway, looking at you and the maid with concern.



The maid shakes her head and shrinks back, as the guests approach her.
"Is it true that someone's been murdered in there?"

The maid hesitates before nodding.
"Please don't tell anyone else yet! The manager is getting the authorities now, and doesn't want to cause a panic."
"Hmm... any idea who they are?"
"I didn't recognize the victim. As for the killer, I have no idea..."
"So there's a killer out there, huh?..."

"Err, s'cuse me. There's some business I need to take care of..." The gentleman says as he hurriedly shuffles into one of the nearby rooms and closes the door.
"Hey, what about the--!" The lady guest tries to catch up to him, but the door is quickly shut.
"Come back later!" The gentleman's muffled voice calls out from inside.

The lady sighs and turns to you and the maid. "Either of you got any Alice?"
You and the maid look at each other and shake your heads.
"Damnit. I would kill for some right now." She hesitates for a moment. "...Not literally."



You then have a sudden realization!
"Aha! I just realized I know who the killer is! There's only one person in this hotel it could possibly be... Suzy Frenwick!"

"Suzy Frenwick!? I know Suzy Frenwick... she's a total snob. Wouldn't sell me any Alice! ...Yeah, it's totally her!"
"Uhm, a-are you guys sure?"
"We should go look in her room. For evidence. You got the keys right?"
"I-I'm not supposed to do th--"
"C'mon!! She's out right now, this is our chance to get the evidence before she comes back and gets rid of it!"
"N-No! We should wait for the manager..."
"There's no time! Here, just gimme the keys!"

The lady rushes over to the maid, trying to snatch the keys from her pockets.
"S-stop!"
"Just give 'em to me! We can solve this crime right now!"



The lady is soon able to wrestle the keys from the maid as she then sprints around the corner towards Suzy's room.
"Wait! You can't just--!!" The maid runs after her.

You follow them into the adjacent hallway and then into one of the rooms that the lady has unlocked and entered.
Inside the room, the lady is flipping through various cabinets and drawers, looking for "evidence", as the maid snatches back the keys.

"Damnit, it's gotta be here somewhere... ...what the?"
The lady suddenly pauses, beckoning you over. You look into the drawer and see a drawing of yourself. No, not just one drawing; lots of them, some containing nudity. What the hell is this!?
Around the drawings are various mementos and artifacts, belonging to or related to you. It's like a shrine that Suzy has made, dedicated to you...
Is that... is that my underwear?!?



"Dude, Suzy's like, totally obsessed with you or something."
"T-this isn't right... we shouldn't be here."
This is all a little too disturbing to you, as you stand there confused and speechless.
