Name: Gaal'garot
Abilities:
Vampiric Immortality (100): Against a demigod-tiered vampiric monster, conventional weapons will simply not suffice. With the exception of a few key weaknesses listed here, Gaal'garot will rapidly recover from any injury.
Note, being crushed to paste and then vaporized/dumped into a water flow will kill you. Particularly if magic is involved. Also, volcanoes, because fire.
- Sunlight: Demigod or not, Gaal'garot simply cannot handle more than a moment of exposure to the sun; it is by far the most reliable way to banish him from a world. Note that only a star that the world is in orbit around will count. Distant stars are ineffective.
Note- Light drawn from the power of the sun would also work against him. Starlight spells and Lunar spells are of limited effectiveness, but they do hurt if concentrated.{Does not immediately kill, but does slow Regen from said spells}
- Wooden Stakes: A direct hit to the heart with a wooden stake will work. Ash, Hawthorn or Oak will yield the best chance of success.
Note-Stakes can also be large splinters of wood. Petrified wood might work as well depending on the circumstances.
- Fire: Fire can work, but it will need to be burning white hot to cause any meaningful damage to this demigod class vampire.
Note- Fire. Some can control this, so that would work as well.
- Silver: High purity silver is toxic to this monster.
Note- Lower concentrations simply weaken the vampire. Also, the lowest class vampires can't handle silver at all.
- Garlic: The plant known as Garlic will weaken his power, but not in and of itself cause harm.
Note- True.
- Divine Power: Religious iconography properly blessed or wielded by a true believer will ward off other vampires sired through Gaal'garot's blood. As a divine being himself however; he is personally immune to this trick.
- Other Demigods: Instead of being flat out immune, Gaal'garot is merely highly resistant to direct attacks from other demigods.
Note- Gods of any stripe can bypass it if they have the correct requirements, like fire and light. Or Dark/earth. Depends on Offense vs. Defense, and the GM.
Curse of the Vampire (50): Gaal'garot's own blood is an incredibly dangerous fluid. If even a drop of it ends up in your body, you can expect to experience about 30 seconds of unimaginable searing pain, followed by the experience of being a mindless undead abomination for the rest of your hopefully short life. Some rare individuals with both great willpower and an evil heart will instead get the experience of becoming a Vampire Lord;
Note- Pure Good people can resist this. So major characters will require far more, and it's easier to just outright kill them.
a weaker, yet still very powerful kind of vampire. Each vampire lord is different, and the specifics are determined by a world's GM. A vampire lord can sire ordinary vampires, and ordinary vampires can create thralls. The death of a vampire lord will also kill any lesser vampires sired by them.
Unholy Might (40): Gaal'garot is extremely powerful, able to smash through walls, easily shatter bones, and crush even armored vehicles bare-handed.
Supernatural Dexterity (30): Gaal'garot is also extremely agile. He has a high movement speed and a fast reaction time.
Enhanced Senses (20): This monster can hear very quiet or distant noises, smell blood from a mile away and see in total darkness.
Notes- True.
Blood Devilry (20): When Gaal'garot consumes someone's blood he gains a few abilities that he can only use while the blood remains in his system, typically 24 hours if the feeding is enough to be fatal. Gaal'garot can shapeshift into the person that he drank from, use any special abilities that they have, and access specific memories that they have if he concentrates on them.
Note- Does not work if said creature doesn't have true blood. Special abilities gained may be limited due to lack of experience.{Not the skill to use them as effectively}
Stealth (10): This monster can move without making footsteps, and you can't hear the breathing of a creature that doesn't need to breath. Also, as a vampire he does not cast a shadow and has no reflection. Those last two points can also be used against him.
Note-True, but does not affect falling onto the ground from a great height, or splashing in water.
Nightmarish Fangs (10): If bitten by Gaal'garot's fangs, you can end up being converted into a dry husk completely drained of blood in as little as 30 seconds. Its even faster if you are bitten in the neck.
Note- True, but be careful if they can fight back.
Can't fight the moonlight (10): If all the above weren't enough, direct exposure to the light of the moon will give this monster yet another ability as chosen by the world's GM. Each moon has a different power and they are not mutually exclusive; but the effect is lost as soon as the lunar spotlight is blocked off.
True- Multiple moons grant individual effects, tied to that moon.
Perk Themes: Vampires, Blood and the Night
Appearance: A monstrous looking humanoid creatures that stands roughly ten feet tall. His skin is pale, his hands are clawed, his eyes glow red, his ears are pointed and his sharp fangs are what nightmares are made of. His preferred outfit is reminiscent of a feudal lord.
Done SuperGM, come to my world, or 1 of them at least.
