What did you do for Christmas? (2018 edition)

As I did the previous years, I want to ask you what you did for Christmas.

Same as every other year in memory.  Got together with the extended family, ate too much and opened presents.  Interestingly, I think we had more people around for Christmas than Thanksgiving, which I gather is somewhat unusual.

Highlight from the food: my brother and I baked a cake that was one half sugar plum pound cake, and one half wintergreen pound cake.  The wintergreen half was really good, I thought, and gave you amazingly fresh breath.  The plum half, which I expected to be better, kind of tasted like cough syrup.  Learned a lesson there: plum flavoring is very strong.
