Yliss then looks at Keith, returning to her harlequin mood.

"My, my, Keith, I didn't expect you to be so upfront about making pick-up lines now..."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Nah, I'm not interested like that."

Shoes blinked.
"I just offered you a veiled threat. Now you are offering to freely share?"

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Yeah, I MPMH done here. You can deal with MPMH, Keith, will probably check on Milly for now."

[SirAston]

Shoes blinked.
"I just offered you a veiled threat. Now you are offering to freely share?"

"Well, we still are a team in the end. I'm packed with enough swords anyway, so here."

Yliss throws her Steel Sword towards Shoes with the obvious intention of her to catch it.

"Nah, I'm not interested like that."

"..."
"..."
"Y-yeah, as if I could imagine something l-like that happening anyway, silly."

Yliss then turned around, walking away a few steps to sit down somewhere with a bit of a distance towards the core group. Not too much, just enough to remain in throwing distance. She pulled out her tablet, focusing on it for now.

"..."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"...I wonder what her deal is? Elf butler dude, you wanna go check on her?"

[Chevaleresse]

Shoes watched Yliss stalk off after catching the sword offhandedly, still not entirely sure what to make of her actions before doing so. Following her movements with an unreadable gaze, she eventually moved to stand alongside Yliss.

"You are acting as if someone did to you what Keith has done to countless of our worthless foes on this journey. Why?"

[SirAston]

"Because Keith did exactly he same to me he did to countless of our, in your words, worthless foes."
"With ruthless precision, he buried hopes and dreams. I... I always knew they'd only be a delusion, I already knew how things would go..."

The hands holding her tablet began trembling.

"... But... but... it was something. Something to enjoy while the delusion lasted. Something worth standing up for every morning and enduring yet more combat... A-and now... it..."

[Chevaleresse]

"You are still whole of body and, supposedly, mind. I do not know which hopes and dreams to which you can prefer, but the answer to this transgression seems obvious."
"If you believe he has wronged you, move toward him, demand recompense, and crush him if he refuses. Simple."

[SirAston]

For a moment, there was a glimmer in Yliss' eyes. But it dissipated as quickly as it emerged.

"He has not wronged me. It is well within his rights to have come to his conclusion."

[Chevaleresse]

"Yet he has clearly caused you harm. Do you intend to take this in stride like some pathetic wretch, or do something about it?"

It just so happened that, in the meantime, Momotarou went to grab some cool drinks for him, Yliss, and a few more, causing him to ultimately miss most of the commotion. He came back, to see and hear Shoes and Yliss having a... discussion. And not the kind one would expect from Shoes.

"..."

For a moment, there was a glimmer in Yliss' eyes. But it dissipated as quickly as it emerged.

"He has not wronged me. It is well within his rights to have come to his conclusion."

"Yet he has clearly caused you harm. Do you intend to take this in stride like some pathetic wretch, or do something about it?"

"... I grabbed some drinks... Yliss, what's wrong?"

Somehow, Yliss didn't manage to notice Momo approaching and got startled by his interjection.

"Whoa! Since when can you sneak like that?!"

She calmed down quickly, but it was obvious she still felt weird about something.

"... Guess you brought drinks, huh... ... Thank you."

The tablet got pocketed away to make room for holding said drink.

"... You've come to know me well in such a short time, Momo... so..."

Yliss takes a slow sip, as if to draw out time.

"... I ask you... which form of happiness... is... the most valuable one...?"

"Didn't even try sneaking... Now I feel under pressure... What I believe after all this... is that the most valuable kind of happiness is being happy with who and what you are. Being at peace with yourself. Without that, any other happiness will be worse."

[SirAston]

"... You of all people should know... that 'being happy with who and what you are' is very much not straightforward for me... How can I be at peace with myself when I am... well... ... not myself...?"
