Woah.  Mitch looks like he could do some damage.  The oracular drug might come in handy, but I don't think we need the blue powder, as ballistic will suffice for that.

Purchase 5 bottles of bug oil.

You think its a pug. That's adorable.

Well I said murder-pug didn't I?  ;)

Let's go for... two bottles of bug oil? It's expensive stuff, and I doubt we'll be using it more than once.

[7]With bottles in coat pockets, you head off through the darkened streets of the city to the airport. Snow falls on empty streets as you walk. You pass by the mouth an alleyway between stacked container houses, Emma gestures into the distance with a grin-- and then someone is behind you, quickly stepping out of the alleyway, pressing something into your back. The point of a knife draws blood through your greatcoat as a rough hand grabs your shoulder. The wound isn't deep- a warning.

"Do-don't move." A female voice murmurs, softly, glancing to Emma, who freezes, hand on her belt. The woman who has a knife to your back, her accent dips in and out of SEED and Outlander dialect. "E-easy now. No-no one has to get hurt, okay? You're rich, right? Fur coats and embroidery and shit. Just a few credits and we all walk away easy."

The knife isn't pressed against your spine, and besides for the hand on your shoulder, your arms are free. You're surprised of course, but you're more concerned with the fact you didn't hear her. Impressed, really. Emma raises a brow but calmly puts her hands into the pockets of her fur robe. She actually gives a giggle when she catches sight of your confused face. "W-what's so funny?!" The would-be mugger asks, a tinge of fear creeping into her voice.

"Sure, here's 5 credits.  Accept that and go away."

"I didn't bring my wallet--" Emma is cut short by your words, lifting a brow. You reach back for your wallet, only for the knife to press a little harder into your back. "Wh-which pocket is your wallet in?" Your mugger asks, softly, breathing hard from excitement and fear.

"Listen, you can back up and let me get my wallet out, and I'll give you a few credits, or I can just remove your knife hand.  What's it going to be?"  Project our will onto her.

Ahh-ha. This is shaping up to be a fun little encounter... this woman is desperate, of course. Hence our mercy.

Speak soft. Let the air hang heavy with our power.

[3 vs 6] She stands firm despite your willpower, and despite the fear she feels-- she has a strong will herself. "And I'll gut you-you like a salt [fish]. No one wins, right?"

[20] "Need some help, Alphira?" Emma asks, cheekily.

"I'll take those five credits, instead," Your mugger murmurs, after a beat, the sharp knife drawing blood from your back is removed slowly, deliberately, carefully.

Grin. "Congratulations, ma'am. You've just mugged an [angel]."

Turn around and get a look at our assailant.

A shorter than average, skinny girl, with rough hands, wielding a long-knife. Reddish-brown hair falls down around her face in loose strands. Her eyes dance to the alleyway before she returns her gaze to meet your own. Her clothes are dirty, as is she, hanging loosely off a thin frame. The knife she has in her hand has a bone handle, and she has it flush against her arm. Her body is slightly lowered to the ground, but relaxed-- is that your wallet in her other hand!?

Trained

"I'll make sure to tell my non-existent children if I don't die in the next five minutes. Something felt off about you. Probably should have thought-thought better." She rambles a little, holding the wallet back out towards you. "I-I didn't take anything yet."

Nod. "I believe you." Take our wallet back, and give the girl what was agreed-- with respect.

I'm fine with this, but make sure to check the wallet and our possessions to make sure she truly hasn't taken anything.
