꧁Haven꧂The return of the Carn Feuerlyn expedition engenders both grief and awe. Shrines are erected for the lost Hunters, Virgo and Ochyrosi. Virgo’s shrine simple, a clean pillar of white saltstone that someone erected in the farmer’s landing and no one quite dares to take down. Ochyrosi’s is… more complex. It sits out of the way of Haven, in a cavern deemed too unstable for major construction. A plain mask of iron hangs above a small house, too small for any human, with dozens of tiny bowls and houses surrounding it. Stray cats, slit eyes watching, cooly regard supplicants who leave scraps of food in the bowls and offer a brief prayer to the fallen Hunter.
Mourning aside, Haven is, to put it lightly, agog with the haul brought back from Carn Feuerlyn. Clockwork artificers have been complaining for years that parts of Haven are on the verge of collapse, and that there simply are no parts available to replace those that wear out - but that has just changed. Aetheric gel, runic circuitry, volatile flakes, and a dozen other fascinating and useful items surge into the market, allowing craftsmen and service artificers alike to work on projects possible before only in the realm of speculation.
