It might be a nice change of pace to see what happens when the traditional adversaries are our friends with Democratic Capitalist Russia.
We'd also get to see more of the non-hostile actions at work.

So I should swap Russia's ideology over from Developing Capitalist to Democratic Capitalist but leave ethics on wary? Greece also started off with wary ethics despite being Democratic Capitalist.

Very true. Still I'd feel better putting this up for a vote in the poll however there hasn't yet been enough votes to move on. Developing Capitalist is the best one for realism since Russia had just gotten out of being a communist dictatorship and many in the Russian military remained suspicious of the West despite many in the West believing we had become friends. I could manually switch stolen allies back though it is kinda interesting to see my alliance get divided in two. But still switching Russia to Democratic Capitalist ensures my alliance remains intact and it opens the possibility of getting the Russians to join my alliance through diplomacy. Of course even Yeltsin's Russia almost went to war with us during the Kosovo War so yeah...
