It's called LSD. Not Miasma.

Well, I was thinking more emphasis on the color purple, but if anyone ever finds a way to change the color of miasma, go on and try it out.

Negating the negative effect of miasma by making it pretty?

Urist Mcdwarf has been ecstatic lately. He admired a fine miasma lately.

I already use it decoratively, interesting shaped refuse room spanning two levels, waste on the bottom level, the miasma rises to fill the cut-out shape of your choice, my current one is shaped like a simple skull.

Hehe not intentionally, I found out about Miasma the hard way when it upset a good number of my dwarves and caused them all to tantrum, kill each other and tantrum some more. Right now carp are enough of a problem without making it worse with miasma.

I could make some really bad taste comments about the possibilities of making magma furnaces to continue your proposed Nazi theme and although torturing Dwarves is fun at times there is a limit and I think you found it lol.

Actually this fort is going to be pretty horrible.

The decorative refuse pits (a grated channel, with a one-tile refuse pile one square away underground, and a door past it - repeated X times to surround the fort) are so I can leave my sacrificial dwarves to rot (after leaving them in a room covered in spike traps with corresponding pressure plates above that my real dwarves walk all over) so I can use their bones to make a black bronze/lead/bone alloy combo to make armor out of.

I'm also looking into advanced smelter reactions to see if I can use the corpses to baptize iron and get a stronger Blood Iron, and have it spit out the bones for the armor.
