Yes, having an image of a desktop would be beneficial for some. Of course, it could be abstract. Or just plain and blank.

Oh, yay! I'm not the only one who plays SW:Galactic Battlegrounds.
I also have the AOEII soundtracks (both vanilla and expansion uninterrupted tunes like they come on the CDs) as a playlist to play alongside AOE and SW:GB. It's surprisingly very well fitting for Galactic Battlegrounds. Also nice to play both CD tracks sequentially instead of looping just one for the whole time. Works very well when you start with Conquerors soundtrack and then AOEII in that order. At least I prefer starting in that order, and in that loop. And the tracks are much smaller files than I initially thought.

Oh yeah, and the AoC shortcut is a special mod that allows me to play AoEII windowed.

I actually nabbed the gold thing of all the AOEI-II expansions and all. It's surprising how cheap they sell the bundle for. Any way to play that online? I haven't looked at those for awhile.

As to not derail this topic, there's a thread about AOEII somewhere in the Other Games board. But I'm always up for a game.

Gotta get back to playing STALKER again. Already beat the first one, CoP is what I have up next, no Clear Sky. It's also nice to see Ur-Quan Masters on the board as well.
