guards know king but not each other
assassin wants to kill king, but always gets one shot (even if lynched d1)
in IRC, generally goes votefest and the assassin tries to find king by voting patterns (suspicious lack of votes falling on someone).

Talking is claimed to be bad as it'll give the assassin stuff to go on.

Having played a couple of games irl today, I'd say it's not necessarily discussion that's bad, but doing discussion that would help the assassin find out who the king is.  For instance, while there's no rules against whispering to the people sitting next to you in our games, I was able to deduce who the king was by the secret conversations he had with the person to the left of him.

Also, should we really be moving more games into signups?  We can't even get enough players for Horrible Role or Aztec, right now.

A good point.  We have 3/4 bastard mods running right now (I personally count Second Chance), and I'm getting a bit sick of them myself.  It might be a good idea to focus on open setups for the next little bit.

ONE BYOR can run at the moment.  Also a more typical game can run as well.  We actually don't have any standard mafias going on at the moment.
