I guess economy should be removed, that's as simple as deleting a button
The changing tilesets thing is hard to do otherwise since we don't just replace stuff/add notes, we would have to do conditional replacement (and that gave me a hell of a time when I tried :/).
The links should be updated, actually I'm planning on adding something secret in the next update () about that.

the consel is blank except for
 "the system cannot find the specified path"
 along with a popup message saying
"windows cannot find Dwarf Fortress.exe. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search."

Have you modified any of the folders? Or are you trying to launch a DF that's not in the pack maybe?
I dunno what else.... XP SP3 you say with everything installed? Strange...

I noticed in the Genesis Mod thread that in their newest release they've removed the GRASSTRAMPLE tags from their creatures to make things a bit simpler and easier.

The newest version of Genesis is supposed to have stopped domestic animals trampling grass I think...

Yeah it was just removing the old grasstrample tags.

Considering how rapidly medium and large [GRAZER] animals consume grass (like how some big animals are barely able to keep themselves alive by grazing constantly) and how important it is to pen/pasture grazing-type pets, perhaps something similar should be added to LNP as an option? ...At least until grazing values get balanced better. I'm thinking of another button like the one to disable the [PET_EXOTIC] and [MOUNT_EXOTIC] tags to get around the missing Dungeon Master.

The only problem I can think of is how GRASSTRAMPLE tags take a value, so it might be difficult to simply comment them out. It's easy enough for a program to find and change the bracket in front, but finding the closing bracket could be problematic because it follows a numeric value. (That is, unless the program can simply change the next "]" closing bracket it finds.)

that might be a problem, yeah, or we can just allow the user to change the value like we do for other tags to a preset value... hmmm...

After finally adopting LNP for my own use, i found myself still customizing theese small things manually:

a) windowed size and 8x8 ascii tileset.
 - I always set up 98x98 tiles window which allows me to see whole 2x2 embark at once.

b) varied ground tiles.
 - To make display cleaner.

Also, there is new version of SoundSense which you can (of course) include.

THE LNP is compatible with mods, yes.
Just make sure to install graphics first (through the LNP), then the mod you want (Fort Defense, Genisis, Corrosion, etc.) and then LNP options.

At least that's what works for me

Hello, I downloaded this LNP, generated a world and started a game in the graphics mode (Phoebus). Now I would like to play the game in the ASCII mode again. So tried to change it back to the Default ASCII 31.25 via the LNP GUI and let my savegames update. The problem is, when I start DF now and load my savegame, I get a fatal error: Missing reaction definition.

What's going wrong here? Is there a way to change it to default ASCII now?

Thats odd, I just tried it and got the exact same proublem, no mods installed.
