I did some testing, and with a single file made with the command
Code: [Select]
diff -Nur C:\Games\df_34_05_win\raw\objects "C:\Games\Ironhand 0.66\DF\raw\objects" > ironhand.diffI got a file that I could apply using
Code: [Select]
C:\Games\df_34_05_win\raw\objects>patch -i C:\Games\ironhand_raws.diffto apply it, and
Code: [Select]
C:\Games\df_34_05_win\raw\objects>patch -R -i C:\Games\ironhand_raws.diffto remove it.

While the diff command can be run from anywhere, the patch command needs to be run from the directory containing all the files, so you need to take care of that in the launcher. I assume you know how that would be managed.

Seems the -d option will let you change the directory

I know this has been brought up elsewhere on this topic, but I've been having that issue with SoundSense where it will flash a command prompt and then close itself. I updated to Java 7 (jre-7u3-windows-i586) as suggested and that did not fix the problem. I don't think it has to do with it not being able to find the gamelog, because in the past it has simply said, "Yo, we need the gamelog."

Through some !!agility!! I was able to screencap the prompt just before it closed. I don't know if it will be helpful or not, but here it is. It's a bit translucent but I can't help that. It seems to have an  issue with some class files.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I'm going to go check out the SoundSense forums real quick to see if they've fixed the issue yet. If not, I'm going to toss this up over there. I figured someone here might know more about Java than I do and be able to either explain it or fix it.

ScratchtasticZ, had the same problem, but uninstalling all older Java and installing jre-7u3-windows-i586 fix it in my case. Now SoundSence works fine! Maybe u still have Java 6 installed?

Indeed, Java6 can still act as "official" system java and windows would just ignore your java 7 install in that case.

Control Panel -> Java -> Java -> View -> then choose which one you want the system to use.

That is probably the issue, then. Alrighty, guys, cool. I'll test this out when I get home tomorrow.

Thanks!

While I'm thankful it's being updated still.. and thankful for this program altogether.. I probably won't play DF until you come out with this for .06.  The millions of rotting, owned clothing bug that clutters a fortress with crap with every ambush fix is too essential.

Also, can you light a fire under the DF prospector person's backside?  I'm sick of digging out forts that have no iron or flux.

Doesn't dfhack do this?  If you reveal then prospect you get all that info...

Make a file called "v0.34.06_graphics.ini" in your "DwarfTherapist/etc/memory_layouts/windows/" and copy the info in the code tags into it.  You can now use DT with the new version.  Thanks Sandbox!

Thanks for this information! I wanted to update LNP myself without having to wait lol.

Edit: I found my answer to my ironhand question. I just need to install the pack myself.

While I'm thankful it's being updated still.. and thankful for this program altogether.. I probably won't play DF until you come out with this for .06
Are you seriously saying this the day .06 came out?

I don't think he was telling you to hurry up and get it out, I think it was more of a compliment, stating that your work is too essential to him, that he just can't play DF without your help. Even though the bug he hates is fixed, he's waiting for your release to enjoy it :-D

In the meantime, self upgrading until you release the pack. Keep up the good work!

My friends and I haven't posted once asking you to hurry up, mainly because we are grateful for your work. I think he meant he won't play the new release of DF until you get done, not that he wants you to hurry up. Not sure though.

Keep up the good work.
