when rolling for wounds the lower the roll the higher the damage

The Date is 29 April 1944

with its allies rapidly losing ground in both Italy and the Pacific.
And the campaign in russia being pushed back by the soviets.
The Reich fears an imminent assault by the allies . And sees to its own defenses .
fortifying the coasts of France. Your squad is being sent from Paris
to reinforce the Garrison of Caen. Your truck is nearing the village of Manche.

Shouldn't there be medical equipment?

Name: Alexis Maier

Major skills: Sniper

Minor Skills: Observation, Signalling

Backround: Alexis had just joined up at the beginning of the war. Living in the country side he had spent many idle days practicing with a rifle and soon he became an adequate sharpshooter. While not a fierce supporter of the Nazi party he is exteremly patriotic and he was originally sucked into the military by Adolf Hitler's words of a stronger Germany. Alexis spent alot of his time fighting on the Eastern front and his excellent markmanship as well as his knack for survival saw him quickly promoted and he soon found himself commisioned for all sorts of special missions as a sniper. Now quite disillusioned with his country's leadership he still fights on for the sake of Germany and not who is in charge.

Equipment: Scoped rifle, Pistol.

Hope that works good luck with your first RTD

Name: Dolch (Dagger in German  :P) Blitzkreig
major skill: infiltration
minor skills: observation, sub-machine guns
background: Has always been isolated from others, ever since he was a child. His parents were always fighting, and he learned stealth at an early age by sneaking close enough to hear them duking it out, (with words) and being quiet enough for them to not know he was there. He saw others as undeserving of his company, and because of his isolation, he was a target for the bullies in school. One day, though, he brought a knife, and brandished it the next time he was threatened. He was sent to juvenile hall, and after that, once he was finished with high school (with no other incidents) he joined the fight against the allies.
Equipment: sub-machine gun, knife

TURN 0 Manche

well from the backside of the truck you can see some typical farmhouses.
with most of them being ruined and deserted for years . The driver mentions that the town is deserted.
its not to your suprise during the siege of france this place was bombarded by the Luftwaffe until.
all signs of resistance were wiped out.Riding into the village center you notice more ruined houses and rubble lying on the streets .Hey look you can even see one of those old silo's where they used to stack grain. its still in good shape for not being attended to.

Dolch is silent, concentrating on the view of the land.

Suddenly, he says, "That would be fine by me."
