I can't remember if you were able to link one building to more than one lever.
If it's possible, how would the building react to, for example, pulling one of the levers without the other one.
Also, A.I.'s name should be shorter than 6 characters (at least I think so).

I think the professional term for it was URIST.

a) GLaDOS (Group of Levers all Dwarf Operated Smoothly)
b) U.R.I.S.T. (Underground Reasonably Intelligent Settlement Technologist)
c) C.O.R.E. (Completely Omnipotent Reacting Element)
d) T.O.A.D.Y.O.N.E. (Titanic Overmind Actively Determining Your Overwhelmingly Nontrivial Existence)
e) A.N.D.R.E.U.S. (Accelerated Numerological Deathlessly Reincarnating Entirely Unliscenced Sorcerer)
Chose one.

D and E are out if it has to be only 6 letters.

Takuanuva has been playing for WEEKS. Isn't there a RL time limit for turns?

Also, WHO MOVED MY TURN DOWN? I swear it used to be higher up...

I approve of the GLaDOS idea!  8)

Never heard about one.
Don't worry, I should finish this year tomorrow (hopefully), and then either I'l take another year (or less) to finish the Failpump (90 magma-safe pumps, huge reactor, lots of gears- it can take a while) or I'l give the save to breadbocks/anyone else who is after me on the turn list.
Also, Failpump is around 75-80% done. I need to clean things up and add the pumps and gears. But, there is also one more problem... I propably won't be able to get enough wood on time (reactor's water wheels need tons of it). I can either open one of the caves or...
Could anyone modify raws so it would be possible to make logs out of stone?

This is Failcannon, not Cheatcannon. Not having enough time to finish ambitious projects is one of the wondrous delights of a succession fortress.

malkomk, There was a LOT of skipped turns before takanuva, if I remember correctly.

Basically this is what happens when those skiped turns acumilate - one guy plays for a loooong time before we move on to the next guy.

Which makes it the turn of getting stuff done/Megaprojecting, I suppose.

Another siege, another army caught.
...I'm running out of cages. And space. And it takes MONTHS to reload all of those traps.

T.O.A.D.Y.O.N.E is pretty good.

Just f'ing close it all off completely if you don't know how to deal with them. Or, alternatively, screw your megaprojects and make an actual, trained up army. We need one. Using cages in singleplayer is fine. Using them in succession forts is sort of boring.
I want gory battle descriptions, not "another army caught"...

So we got monsters above, monsters below, dwarves in the middle and a party in the dining hall. Sounds good to me.
If all else fails, remember one thing:  kittens are delicious, nutritious little goblin-baiters, cavern explorers, and ambush-finders.

All you need is a danger room and some balistas and the descriptions will be the same.

Capturing all of the attackers alive means, that:
1. I don't have to worry about defending the fortress.
2. I can use all of the dwarfs to build the Failpump.
3. Someone after me will be able to use those caged prisoners as the source of goblinite and target practice.
4. We have a growing cage making industry.

Don't disarm the prisoners. Later, build their cages in an arena and set them loose with the military inside. Fair fight, right?
...right?
