Then let it be Aztec Egypt fort, where people get randomly sacrificed to a bear/chasm/lavapit/imps! and we need to build a pyramid in honor to Armok!

*Or egypt fort, where the rulers slaves get buried with him in a granndd tomb.

Also, Hareem.

Could I be a lowly crossbowdwarf, hoping to eventually lead a squad of crossbow wielding bringers of death?

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

You can, you're slated as one of the first immigrants. In true egyptian style, You can keep a share of whatever loot you get from dead goblins, if you survive :P

Awesome. I can see a good future ahead of me... Also, as said before, I suggest the Pharoah(s) be entombed with his possesions and slaves. Make use of cave-ins. Bury his slaves alive!

Instructions on the proper usage of slaves

If you are given(Or gain) a slave, you can either send the slave into the general population of haulers (which will aid in your hauling also), or you can assign them to your profession and sit back practicing the high arts of talking and all that stuff.

Naming convention will be:

Slave*HH* the HH being hugeheads brand on it's buttock. You can choose at anytime what your slave does.
Also you may want your slave to haul specific goods. Example: You are a carpenter, you make your slave haul ONLY furniture, meaning he will help you alot more than if he was set to haul all.

Production:

If you wish you can use your slave to produce goods, in doing so you may win the favor of the Pharoah and he may or may not toss you a trinket or two.
Gifts will usually be in furniture, though they can in unique cases be legendary items, a new room, a smoothing of your walls, an extension etc etc.

To the military:

If you perform well in combat, the Pharoah may grant you a slave as reward. This slave will be one of his own personal slaves, it cannot be a 'player owned' slave.

Your slaves will be enshrined with you, the people will know your worth by the number of rotting corpses in your tomb.

Nobility:

If you gain a slave or two, you may be admitted into the nobility. With this will come all the benefits required of your status. You will have to prove to the pharoah however that your skills of elocution and other intellectual arts are sufficient.

Nobles will have priority for jobs such as broker, though it is not impossible to have a stinking commoner do some minor tasks.

Dorf request:

Name: Ashalia
Job: Swordsdwarf.
Target: Came to the fortress as a unexperienced fighter, he once hopes to become the Leader of the Pharao's Guard.
Personality: Hates unloycal people, would die anytime and tries to be battle ready for the pharao on any time. Yeah, he would even try to wrestle down a whole horde of elves if needed. (Altough please, dont let him try.)
