The vehicle proceeds to grab each of the party members with some sort of beam.
You hear the base AI's voice through a speaker. "Prepare for sudden acceleration."
You strap into one of the seats on the walls of the vehicle. As soon as you are belted in, the vehicle quickly accelerates away from the flaming city.
