Your init modifier is shown on your character sheet. It is 8. You roll 1d10+1d10+8 for init.
Oh huh, I didn't see it. Guess I didn't look hard enough. [8,10+8=26]

Since we both have 26 init you can probably decide what you want to do as well.

I'll move south 1 space. That way we can both deal with each enemy simultaneously one at a time. Though if we can attack diagonally, then there's still the benefit of only having the chance on one of the enemies attacking us at a time, and only one of us at that. unless they can attack diagonally too, but still, the walls restrict two potential positions for enemies that would allow them to attack.

It's that time again!
It's...

QUESTION TIME
• Uhhhh is my init modifier 3+5+something else? If it's just 3+5, then is rolling for init just 2d10+8? Or is it 3d10?
• What are those card icons next to that basilisk-- is that just a visual thing because prototyped deck of cards?
• Hypothetically, would a ranged burst (e.g. the Grenade thing) attack hurt players around me in addition to enemies?
• Who is this BT person? I don't see them in the OP.

1: Yeah, it's 8, so you roll two d10 and add 8 to the result.
2: Yes it is.
3: It attacks every creature in the burst, so yes, it attacks allies as well if you do that. Most burst attacks don't, so check whenever you use one you aren't familiar with.
4: BT is a riddle wrapped in an enigma wearing ridiculously evil looking armor.

And, as a bonus, everyone can attack diagonally. So, that's something to keep in mind.

If you move south, theoretically all of the imps could get in and start messing you two up. Just checking, this is what you're doing?

Also, for everyone in the Alex, Danielle, Steve and Claire group, does anyone want to re-draw after the pyramid scrutiny?

Oh, huh. I was thinking of this in a way where once an enemy is close enough to attack you, they prioritize attacking you over moving, like in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or Dungeons of Dredmor. That being said, I'll just stand my ground instead.

Right then.

Mimi shoots at the closest imp with her crossbow, and ducks back into the half of the factory devoted to destroying trees. Unfortunately, the bolt glances off the imp's rocky shoulder, and falls to the ground. Oh well.

Emily waits for the enemy to close in.

Three of the imps rush forward, all trying to get the first shot at the girls. The first among them swipes at Emily with his claws, dealing  6 damage.

The next one has to attack around the doorway, making the strike kind of clumsy, but it manages it anyway, dealing another 6 damage.

The third of the imps that charged in couldn't get close enough to attack this turn.

The last imp and both basilisks hang back.

Steve looked at the rather large person in the evil looking armor. From how he was acting it was clear that he was not an enemy, so Steve didn't draw his weapon.

>CT: Threshecute Imp 2.

Do you have to use an aggrievement/fraymotif for each attack, or is that optional? Just checking. Also, another hypothetical: can I throw my Small Explosive Ball With Straps when I use it, and, if so, how many spaces may I throw it?

Yeah special attacks are optional. They are also a big help so spam them gogogogogo

[8+2+Attack Bonus]? That's more like it.

You can choose to use a basic aggrievement, which is just a bare bones attack, but you really are better off using threshecute as your standard attack. It even attacks multiple enemies next to you.

You whip your whip in an arc, attempting to take the imp by surprise, but this one is smarter, or at least faster, than the ones you fought back at your house.

>Mimi: Switch to Prospitian Chainsword and jab at Imp 1.

Your attack bonus here would be a precision bonus of 3-1, plus img modifier which is 5, and your level, so 12.

You pull out your chainsword and deliver a lightning fast jab into the closest imps face. It explodes spectacularly.

Imp 2 moves forward and swipes a vicious claw at Emily, but she dodges out of the way.
Imp 3 also gets closer, and attacks Emily as well, and unlike Imp 2, lands a solid blow. You take 6 damage.
Imp 4 decides to join the fracas, and closes in, focusing on Mimi. She takes 6 damage from the ensuing attack.

The basilisks continue to hang back, waiting to make their move...

Ahaha I'm not sure if Blade is doing BT's dialogue here or his actual player because of the typing quirks.
