Yes, you can throw it 5 spaces.

You whip the imp, and do a pretty good job of it. It explodes into grist.

Like, how are those done? I though the GM rolled for damage wait that's not a damage roll. Is it 2d10+attack modifier or something? I don't see an attack modifier anywhere, nor how to find it, nor did I see where he got that constant +12 from.

It is 2d10 plus your attack modifier. Your attack modifier is the modifier from your weapons associated stat, plus your level, and your precision bonus from the weapon you're using. Which should come out to 12 in your case.

You can hit both basilisks, so I'll make another attack roll.

You fire a pair of crossbow bolts at the basilisks, hitting them both, dealing 18 damage to the card basilisk, and 22 to the training basilisk.

You strangle the remaining imp to death with your whip, not letting up until the little jerk explodes into grist.

The card basilisk lurches forward, but doesn't attack because the birds that have been flying around it's head since Mimi's attack are very distracting.
