Kil's head hits the wall just ahead of me, spattering me with some of her blood.  I stare, unwilling to accept what my eyes tell me.

'No, he wouldn't!  Even if Cockroach was at full power, Carrot would stop him before he could harm Kil!'

Carrot barrels down the hallway, heading for the direction of the yelp of surprise.
"I'LL KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU! IT'S FUN!!" Screams the monster that at one time was called Psycho Carrot.

(Aw you killed Kil, oh well, she was going to be redundant when Venture starts working with Bubbles anyway. Quick question for our resident mad-pony. Did you kill your foals too?)

Psycho's bellow snaps me back to reality.  I rush to the corridor, knowing I'll need room to use my spear properly.

As it happens, they both end up two feet apart from each other and slide to a stop.
"Khenal. How goes it? I just had a lovely nap. Would you care to join Kil? Oh, and..." I turn my head 180 degrees and say "Kids, come here! Daddy wants you to meet your new friend!"

'Cockroach!'

With his head pointed away, I swing the blunt end of my spear as hard as I can at his front right knee.

Everything suddenly stops. you hear that BWOOOOONG sound (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXLDv-fUINM), followed by a familiar voice.
"...Remember when you weren't sure you had actually left that wonderful world I created? You left alright...BUT SO DID I! I am in your mind now!" Laughs Cockroach.
At this point, the kids arrive. One is missing all it's skin, while the other is dragging a bloody axe that a titan might have used.

'Motherbucker.'  I grab the borrowed spear in my teeth and release my magic.  Backing towards the stairs I keep my eyes on Psycho and his "children".

"If you want to kill me, Psycho, let's play up top."

[The Master]

"...don't you want to play a game first?" Asks the child with the axe.
"...GAME...GAME...GAME......GAME...GAME...GAME..." Chants the other child.
"YES. LET'S PLAY A GAME. IT'S CALLED: KILL FRIESDEN! IT'S OUR FAVORITE!!!!" Screams 'Psycho'.

That's precisely what Khenal fears is happening.  And now, back to the show!



My horn flashes as I cast the voice amplification spell, the last spell I plan on casting for quite some time.

"EVERYPONY GET AWAY FROM ME!  RUN, FLY TELEPORT, JUST GET AWAY!"

I cease backing up and give the trio a look of steel and ice before stepping closer.  'Even if this is all in my head, at least now everypony knows to stay away from me.'

"You'll never get her."

"Oh Khenal...usually I don't offer advice...but I would just like to take the time to inform you that...there's something behind you."
Khenal feels hot breath going down his neck.
