I.. uh.. have one.  After firing up DF for the first time in a while, I had forgotten I had the Fortress Defense Mod installed.  Late in the first year, I was ambushed by Dark Stranglers - one of which was riding a War Polar Bear.

Originally, I had a single soldier - an iron-clad axedwarf, my commander.  When he got his left arm ripped off by the bear, I drafted my four most recent immigrants to the army and sent them out stark naked due to my setting of the uniforms to 'replace' civilian clothes.

While all four of these recruits did die by the bear, one of them somehow got his tongue bit by the polar bear, which latched onto it and shook him around by.  His tongue was then ripped off, presumably sending him flying, and he bled to death shortly after.

The Commander, with the distraction caused by his retarded recruits, survived and drove off the invaders, then cheerifully went and got a bite to eat and resumed training, completely ignoring the hospital despite having his left arm ripped off.

I would also like to add that these are AWESOME! I'm using the one with the evil-grinning dwarf on the blood-stained battlefield as my desktop backgorund :D

I have 2 squads of marksdwarves. One uses crossbows, the other uses bows and arrows salvaged from invaders (there were so many I had to find some way to make use of them). However, ever since the two squads have been sharing the same barracks, they seem to be sparring a lot with practice weapons and now are just as good with swords and axes as they are with crossbows and bows (which is still frustratingly mediocre). I'm wondering if they don't know what ranged weapons are. There, go nuts.

I'm loving this thread! Keep up the great work.

I've got one . . .

A Kobold got into my village (Yes, village. I play as humans, not Dwarves.) and a human clothier diplomat caught her in a doorway, grabbed her nose, punched her in the eye, and then released her nose and broke it with a kick. Then they both ran away.

:D

On my third fortress, I was being sieged by goblins and one of my favourite Dwarfs was cornered in the main lobby. He got his arm permanently immobilised by a cut, and the Goblin was about to finish him off when a random stoneworker Dwarf ran up behind the Goblin and caved his skull in with a single punch!

I was making some traps using lead carts going at very fast speed, sadly there was no goblins to test it out so i sent one of them migrants, no doubt he got tear apart and spray the wall with red, but the cart was a cunning one and used the best bait ever for dwarf, and so most of my fort died trying to get some pigtails socks.

Also your work is awesome ;D.

Pretty well done, you seem to have a great passion for art, like a dwarf to mining.

Anyhoo, I've got a request. I have a nice little fortress community going on, a modest fort of at least 40, in which i was orchestrating a massive dig-op. This was being mined by ONE dwarf, an old man, my expedition leader, who was looking for a certain yellow stone for his tomb, It was then that one mood came after another, making the goblins ambush me.Most everyone was killed, due to me never getting a mechanic to make a lever, so naturally i abandoned when my pop was down to 1. I began as an adventurer whose only job was to go on a pilgrimage to abbeyaces (shut up i know it's awful), which had a nice obsidian cathedral. When I arrive  i see something amazing, old urist mcminer, part of my militia, was struck down inside his tomb's walls in the courtyard. I just imagine him lying there, bleeding out after four years of hard digging whispering his last words "Finally some FUCKIN' rest around here, dear lord!"

Great job on the artwork, keep it up!

Happy new years, all. Sorry for the delay. Been really focusing on work and other personal projects. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all the kind words. Your encouragement is very dear to me. :)

In my fortress, in a hollowed artificial cavern, there is a 10z level gold piramid. In the top of the piramid, next to an artifact (raw) adamantine
statue of the God of life and death, there is a hatch. The hatch opens to a great pit that goes through the piramid, then enters in the
natural caverns 8 z levels above a magma pool.

I use it to sacrifice goblins, undead, children and other undesirables to our glorious god. I want an image of a babie being sacrificed,
maybe the king, some dwarves and the mother watching.

My one and only encounter with a dragon in fortress mode, a dragon arrived bellowing flames everywhere, but was promptly shot to death by the goblins that were sieging my fort. Unfortunately for them, as they turned to flee they couldn't reach the edge of the map before the wall of flames enveloped them. My dwarves waited for the fires to die down and went out to gather the spoils of war, feasting on prepared meals made from dragon meat.

Yay! You got to mine. That was funny. Kobold Kombat,

And I often still play as human. Just wait til I grab the Startdwarf script and launch thirty person embarks. Things will get fun quicker.

In one of my fortresses, demons kept (spawning?) in the cavern after I opened hell, forcing me to eventually wall off the caverns. However, in the meantime, my military (trained by danger room) had to deal with them. One dwarf in particular seemed particularly effective, at one point taking on two boiling specters and WINNING. So I check her weapon, expecting to see a silver hammer (she was a hammer dwarf, according to the game). Nope. Oaken crossbow.

She had been beating demons to death with a frickin wooden crossbow!

I was messing around with my mod.
I'm a Slade Colossus

I punch off the dragon's head, covered entirely in dragon blood dual wielding masterwork bronze statues from previous kills, but only to throw them into the dragon before the finishing punch.
Slightly exaggerated because it wasn't a flying off in an arc really, it was just a kick to the brain.

EDIT:
I started the page!  :)

Is this freshwater or saltwater? Because alternatively you could breed a large amount of crocodiles and unleash them into the waters... indirect genocide.

You seem to be pretty good at this.
This might be slightly old, but maybe you could draw your version if it.

Every time something gets stolen from my stockpiles, it's almost always a raccoon.
And the stuff they steal, are always bronze or copper weaponry.
I heavily suspect, that they are building an army.

Edit: Bonus points if you draw a Dwarf, telling this conspiracy theory to other Dorfs, who don't believe him.
But you don't have to. :p
