Megabeast composed of massive glass with poisonous gas attack :(

Megabeast with poisonous skin causing necrosis.
ALL my animals died from it! Causing massive miasma and sickness!

I read this somewhere, but someone (I think it was Girlinhat) had a Fluffy Wambler Megabeast.

Win.

I once had a beast composed of snow... my miner looked at it the wrong way and it fell apart.
I was confused where it has gone :)

I'm forced to assume it was a remnant of that bronze colossus beheaded by a fluffy wambler.

I once had one made of refuse with deadly dust. My fortress didn't last long.

In the end I just opened the gates to let in the hordes of goblins who happened to be waiting outside.

I had a giant badger...  with dust that immediately rotted off the legs of my dwarves.  All that were left were a couple marksdwarves that were out of the range of the FB's attacks, but they couldn't bury all the dead before they got killed by swarms of ghosts of their comrades.

I had once to fight some flying monster with deadly dust attack. Usually i just lock up such beasts and order my marksdwarfs to shoot them from afar or drop some rocks on them if they are inorganic or just ignore them, but this one was in a game where i decided to tame the caverns. It paralyzed a military squad with its dust and proceeded to maul the civilians in the main hall.
I was distracted by something and df ran unattended, so I only noticed something got wrong when i saw all my dwarves resting and numerous grizzly bears biting the FB.
Luckily, its dust turned out to be not-so-deadly - it just caused heavy bruises over the entire body, then dwarves went to hospital and were healthy again in a week or two without any medical aid. The FB was eventually killed by grizzlys and another military squad. I was prepared to find my casualties horrible, but only one dwarf and three grizzlys died.
The deadly dust is still scattered around the fort and occasionally some dwarf steps in it and goes to the hospital for a week with heavy bruising - i think they keep doing so on purpose.

Sounds like it gets them out of work :)

No! No! I will not massacre my children. Instead, I'll make them corpulent on crappy mass-produced quarry bush biscuits and questionably grown mushroom alcohol, and then send them into the military when they turn 12...

A towering humanoid made of horn silver.
It turned out to be impervious to steel weapons and promptly proceeded to kill every soldier it came across with and later beat the whole population dead with masterwork steel greaves it had yoinked from some sucker.

Towering skinless bear with branching antennae. I imagine that the antennae are actually disconnected nerve bundles or intestines or something protruding from its head.

Its life was cut tragically short after it attacked a kitten, which had been conveniently chained under a 10x10 part of the cavern ceiling. It nearly got away because the one dwarf out of 70 that went halfway across the fortress to pull the lever was missing a foot. It stayed there long enough for the lever to get pulled, though, then someone butchered the poor thing's smashed corpse soon after. 500 units of meat!

Well, I just had some kind of dinosaur-fb go on a rampage through my fort. I think it had noxious vapors or something. Nearly instantly killing everyone who got within range. At the same times an ogre and a squad of bowgoblins attacked from above. Fun times indeed.

I once had a giant fire breathing dimetrodon.
What makes it so awesome is that it was a mini-dragon.
