Fuck magma or water, use a 40 z level drop instead  :P
magma is alot better to kill nobles than megabeasts or forgotten ones

Drop them how exactly? Bridge won't open with them on it. They are too big to push with water pressure. Cave in the floor under them? Well, okay, but that's a cave in killing them, isn't it?
You could use cave-ins to destroy the floor around them, causing them to fall.

Better send your oldest, tallest dwarf with the highest language skills, and highest combat skill involving a staff-like weapon.

My favourite one ever was a hill titan made of salt. Not only that, but my swordsdwarf killed it by biting it. He ate the delicious megabeast.

When possible, Urist McSwordsdwarf prefers to consume hill titan salt.

lol. That's what I'd do. I eat raw rock salt, so it'd be pretty normal to me.

4 Tables spoons a day my ass!

I read this somewhere, but someone (I think it was Girlinhat) had a Fluffy Wambler Megabeast.

Win.

I was just browsing the SA forums and a dude there has a No-eyed, steel, fluffy wambler with necrotic gas.

He in trouble

I had one the other day that i thought was pretty awesome, sadly didnt manage to printscreen it though. It was something like:

"The forgotten beast XXXXX has come. It is a giant cave blob made out of vomit. It undulates rhythmically. Beware it's deadly vapors!"

It was in the early days of my fortress and i didn't really have any military worth the name, so the blob charged upwards the starway killing 2 full squads of novices on its way. It got to the main chamber, where it finally met resistance, in the surprising form of a female dwarven child! The fight that followed read something like: The dwarven child charges the frogotten beast! The dwarven child latches on firmly! The forgotten beast strikes The dwarven child! The attack glances away! The dwarven child bites the forgotten beast in the XXX! The forgotten beast strikes The dwarven child! The dwarven child jumps away!

This actually went on for some time, the little girl fighting more fiercly than those lazy boozers in my army did, repeatedly biting it and clining to it, but ofc not managing to do any damage. Eventually the forgotten beast swung her by the head, which severed it from the body. The beast was later kicked to death by a mule.

The epic day that the brave dwarves was saved from a giant pile of puke, by a mule and a little girl.
